True Faith in the Fa and Master

(Clearwisdom.net) For a long time I had attachments that interfered with my validating the Fa. Because of the attachments, I could not get rid of the influence from the old forces, and I could not break through old force arrangements.

At the beginning of my cultivation, my understanding of the Fa and of Master was only superficial and at a perceptual level; it was not from the Fa. I was only curious about the Fa and about Master, and I believed in Master perceptually. After the persecution started I did not give up cultivation. However, I didn't reach the standard of the Fa in the test of fundamental faith in the Fa. I often used all kinds of excuses to cover my attachments, which showed that I did not have true faith in the Fa. Because of this, I didn't have the courage or power to give up human notions. Instead, I was often influenced by human notions.

During the persecution some fellow practitioners slacked off, and some of them even gave up cultivation. However, many practitioners facing the evil demonstrated their solid faith in Dafa and Master. Their behavior helped me to understand what true faith is. I was moved by the greatness of the Fa, the benevolence of Master, and the diligence of fellow practitioners. I think that all tests during cultivation are actually tests of faith. Those who don't believe in the Fa or only partially believe in the Fa will read the Fa and criticize it with human notions. This is very disrespectful. Those who truly and completely believe in the Fa will study the Fa from the Fa and assimilate to the Fa, and this attitude helps us to believe in the Fa even more.

When we truly have solid faith in Master and the Fa, nothing can confuse us, all attachments can be put down, and all difficulties can be overcome.
