(Clearwisdom.net) On May 13, 2007, Falun Dafa practitioners from Georgia, USA celebrated World Falun Dafa Day and Master Li's birthday at Stone Mountain Park near Atlanta. Since 1992, based on the principles of "Truthfulness, Compassion, Tolerance," Falun Dafa has spread to over 80 countries, and millions of people have benefited from the exercise and cultivation practice. Falun Dafa practitioners' serenity and peacefulness are well recognized by people of the world. In face of brutal persecution by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), Falun Dafa practitioners have persistently "clarified the truth" to the world with peace and kindness. More and more people have awakened from the CCP lies and have recognized the beautiful nature of Falun Dafa. Each year, World Falun Dafa Day draws more attention to the beauty of Dafa while exposing the persecution in China.

May 13 was a sunny day at Stone Mountain Park. Stone Mountain is a huge round hill of solid granite. It is located southeast of Atlanta and is a well-known tourist site that attracts over 8 million visitors every year. From 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., the lawn in front of Stone Mountain had a festive atmosphere, with colorful banners reading, "Falun Dafa," "Truthfulness Compassion Tolerance," and "World Falun Dafa Day" standing out brightly. The practitioners set up display boards to clarify the truth, and had a group exercise demonstration to promote Falun Dafa. After the group practice, practitioners performed poetry readings, music and songs, and little practitioners recited from Hong Yin.
During the weekends, many people come to Stone Mountain Park. The group practice and display boards attracted many visitors. Many were shocked upon learning about the persecution and tortures that Falun Gong practitioners in China have suffered, condemned the Chinese Communist Party and expressed their support for Falun Gong. Some tourists were attracted by the peaceful group practice and learned the exercise movements during their visits.
The practitioners concluded the activity by singing the song, "Falun Dafa is Good."
