Stories of Karmic Retribution from Xiantao City, Hubei Province

(Clearwisdom.net) Editors' Note: In both Western and Chinese culture, the principle of karmic retribution, that is, being held ultimately accountable for one's own actions, is widely accepted. The fundamental teaching of Falun Gong is the characteristic of the universe, "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance." The universe will reward actions that are in harmony with this principle, while actions such as beating, torturing and murdering people will incur karmic retribution. Stated another way, good deeds will be rewarded with good, while evildoings will meet due retribution. Articles such as this one are meant as a compassionate reminder of this principle to those who would commit wrongdoing. While many of those who persecute Falun Gong are merely "following orders," the universal law requires that they too be held responsible for their actions, and that only by reversing their course of wrongdoing may they escape retribution.

1. Li Jishan, born in 1966, was a policeman in Xiantao Police Department. He actively followed the CCP (Chinese Communist Party) to persecute Dafa disciples. He even seized Dafa disciples, and sent them to Shayang Prison. He also extorted money from Dafa disciples' families. In early 2003, he had a car accident and died a tragic death.

2. Liu Yajun, is a section chief of Xiantao Aquatic Products Department. His arm was fractured in a traffic accident as he tried to capture Dafa disciples on his/her way to appeal.

3. Sun Guangzhong was the director of Xiantao Grain Fodder Factory. He reported the Dafa practitioners who were working in the factory to the government, and sent them to the local brainwashing class to be persecuted. He actively worked for the CCP. In 2002, he quarreled and fought with other staff before falling from the top floor and severely fracturing his legs. It took seven steel nails to fix his legs, and he is now permanently disabled.

4.There is an old man in Xiliuhe Town. In early 2004, the Xiliuhe 610 Office managed to get the old man to tear up Falun Gong truth-clarification materials posted in the streets, and promised to give him 50 cents for each piece. This old man tore up 70 pieces. When he went to the 610 Office to get the money, he suddenly fell and was knocked unconscious. The 610 Office called his family. His son came and rebuked the old man, saying, "Who told you to do such awful deeds? No wonder you suffered karmic retribution."

5. In 2004, Xiaotao 610 Office arranged to forcibly take several Dafa disciples to Magang Caisuo to brainwash them. A teacher in Xinsheng Street School, whose name is Wu Yanfang, was asked to "help" persecute Dafa disciples. After going back to school, she often suffered fevers and colds, and needed to go to a hospital to have injections. Many teachers at her school believe that she is receiving karmic retribution for persecuting Dafa practitioners.

6. Zhang Changding was the vice director of Xiantao Police Department. He assumed the position of vice director of Xiantao Police Department and vice head of Xiantao 610 Office around 1999. Before July 20 of 1999, he and his wife investigated Falun Gong as undercover spies; they also publicly stated that there was no problem with Falun Gong. But after July 20 of 1999, he followed the CCP to persecute the local Dafa disciples. In 2002, he was sentenced to jail for corruption and accepting bribes.
