New Mexico, USA: Practitioners Celebrate World Falun Dafa Day at the New Mexico State Capitol (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net) On May 14, 2007 Falun Dafa practitioners from New Mexico gathered at the state capitol in Santa Fe to celebrate World Falun Dafa Day. The beautiful rotunda of New Mexico's state capitol, filled with natural light, was the perfect place for this special occasion.

During the ceremony, practitioners introduced Falun Dafa and demonstrated the exercises, gave speeches on the significance of World Falun Dafa Day, and shared personal accounts of health recovery from the practice. They also gave an update on the ongoing SOS Car Tour in New Mexico to call attention to the Chinese Communist regime's brutal persecution and their crime of organ harvesting from living Falun Gong practitioners.

One of the highlights of the event was a presentation of the nine proclamations from cities throughout New Mexico in honor of World Falun Dafa Day. Practitioners read proclamations from New Mexico Governor Bill Richardson, the mayor of Albuquerque, New Mexico's largest city, and the mayor of Santa Fe.

The ceremony concluded with the reading of Master Li's poem, "The Knowing Heart."
