(Clearwisdom.net) 1. [Heilongjiang Province] Practitioner Mr. Zhang Shuyu on Hunger Strike for
More Than 10 Days Mr. Zhang Shuyu has been illegally detained in the No. 4 Division
of the Changlinzi Forced Labor Camp. He started a hunger strike to protest the
persecution on April 29, 2007. As of May 12, his hunger strike has lasted for
more than 10 days. Mr. Zhang has become extremely emaciated and weak as a
result. He is in extremely critical condition. Authorities at the labor camp
plotted to force-feed him but Mr. Zhang firmly resisted. 2. [Panzhihua City, Sichuan Province] Police Officers Harass and Persecute
Practitioners On May 10, 2007, Yang Zihua (male) of the State Security Division in Miyi
County, as well as police officers from the local police station, ransacked
practitioners' homes and confiscated their property in townships and villages in
Panzhihua City and Miyi County. A total of nine practitioners, including Mr. Hu
Xingyu, Ms. Peng Kaiju, Mr. Wang Jian, Ms. Yu Lan and her husband Mr. Yang, Mr.
Gao Longyu, Ms. Jiang Yilan, Mr. Ni, and Mr. Li Wenkang, were taken into
custody. The homes of 11 practitioners, including Mr. Zhang Wenlun, Ms. Gao
Longying, Mr. Xu Zhongcheng, and Mr. Gong Zhihui, were searched. The officers
confiscated a television set, a DVD player, Falun Dafa CDs, books, etc. from
78-year-old Mr. Hu Xingyu's home. 3. [Golmud City, Qinghai Province] Practitioner Mr. Shen Honggang Taken into
Custody On May 5, 2007, Wang Jianping (male), a police officer from the 610
Office, along with several plainclothes police officers, broke into the home of practitioner Mr.
Shen Honggang, 30, from Golmud City, Qinghai Province. Mr. Shen was taken into
custody. His home was searched and his property was confiscated. Wang Jianping (male): 86-13897057088 (Cell) 4. [Chengdu City, Sichuan Province] Practitioner Mr. Huang Min on Hunger
Strike for 70 Days and Critically Ill 5. [Mudanjiang City, Heilongjiang Province] Practitioner Mr. Zhou Shuhai
Severely Persecuted and Cannot Eat 6. [Tieling City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Zheng Yabin and Ms. Bai Jie Harassed
and Mistreated On the night of April 29, 2007, Zhang Fenglai (male), a member of the
Political and Judiciary Committee in Diaobingshan City, as well as a unit of
police officers from the Nanling Police Station, forcibly took practitioners Ms.
Zheng Yabin and Ms. Bai Jie into custody. They were released on the same day.
One of them was extorted of 5,000 yuan. The other was released after
she displayed symptoms of heart disease. 7. [Beijng City] Practitioner Mr. Liu Liu Taken into Custody 8. [Xilinhot City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region] Practitioner Mr. Cao Jun
Illegally Arrested At about 5:00 p.m. on May 9, 2007, police officers from the Xilinhaote City
Police Department searched practitioner Mr. Cao Jun's residence. They
confiscated computers and Falun Gong books and took Mr. Cao and his wife away.
Mr. Cao's wife has been released, but he remains in custody. 9. [Jinan City, Shandong Province] Practitioners Ms. Cheng Shuxiang and Ms.
Du Shufeng Taken into Custody On April 25, 2007, police officers from the Beiyuan Town Police Station in
Tianqiao District took Ms. Cheng Shuxiang and Ms. Du Shufeng from Tianqiao
District, Jinan City, Shandong Province, into custody when they were
distributing truth-clarifying materials. Their whereabouts remain
unclear. 10. [Beijing City] Practitioner Mr. Wang Kewen and Others Arrested Before May 1, 2007, personnel from the 610 Office and the State Security
Division in Huairou District, Beijing City searched the homes of local
practitioners Mr. Wang Kewen, Ms. Bai Yongfeng, Ms. Wang Guilan, and Mr. Cui
Laoda and took them into custody. They are now detained in the Huairou District
Detention Center. 11. [Beijing City] Practitioners Mr. Ma Tingyu and Ms. An Lixiang from
Beijing Normal University Taken into Custody by Police Officers from Haidian
District in Late April 2007 12. [Rongcheng City, Shandong Province] Practitioner Ms. Huang Guifen Taken
into Custody At about 8:00 a.m. on May 10, 2007, Ms. Huang Guifen, a practitioner from
Rongcheng City, was taken away from her workplace, where she was drying kelp. In
addition, her home was searched. Rongcheng City 610 Office: 86-631-7567610, 86-631-7564383 13. [Jiangsu Province] Practitioner Ms. Fan Chongfeng Arrested Ms. Fan Chongfeng, 36, is a PhD student in Nanjing Normal University. She is
from Yichuan County, Henan Province. At about 11:00 a.m. on April 13, 2007, she
was taken away by police officers from Nanjing City Police Department when she
was posting truth-clarifying materials on campus. At about 2:00 p.m. the same
day, more than 20 police officers searched her home and stole her computer and
Falun Gong books. She is detained at Nanjing City Detention Center. 14. [Hebei Province] Practitioner Ms. Li Shulan Taken Away Ms. Li Shulan, an employee of the Beijing Steel Corporation in Qianan City,
Hebei Province, left home to avoid persecution for more than one year. She
returned on May 1, 2007. On the afternoon of May 8, she called a fellow
practitioner's home. She was taken away by Wang Yanming, an employee of the Mine
Branch of Beijing Steel Corporation, and sent to the Qianan City Brainwashing
Center. 15. [Beijing] Practitioners Ms. Si Huanzeng and Ms. Chen Wen Taken Away Ms. Si Huanzeng, over 40, was formerly an accountant in the Plant Protection
Institute of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences. She was taken away at
the end of November 2006. Later, Ms. Chen Wen, over 40, was taken away as well.
Their detailed information is unclear. 16. [Shahe City, Hebei Province] Current Situation of Four Practitioners On May 2, 2007, Mr. Shen Zhensheng, Ms, Yao Shufang, and two other
practitioners from Xincheng Town, Shahe City, Hebei Province were taken into
custody when they were clarifying the truth about Falun Gong in Wuan City. They
are detained in Wuan City Detention Center. 17. [Lingshan County, Guangxi Province] Practitioner Ms. Meng Gui Still
Detained After Her Term Expired In October 2003, practitioner Ms. Meng Gui was sentenced to three years of
forced labor and detained in the Guangxi Province Labor Camp. Her term has
expired. However, she has not been released. 18. [Jining City, Shandong Province] Ms. Li Linlin Sentenced to Prison for
Three and a Half Years Ms. Li Linlin is 31 years old. She graduated from the Nanjing Meteorology
Institute. In late 2004, she was working in Shanghai City. She was arrested when
clarifying the truth and later sentenced to three and a half years in prison.
She has been detained in Shanghai Women's Prison. 19. [Zunyi County, Guizhou Province] Practitioner Mr. Zhang Chuanguang and
Others Detained In around November 2006, officers from Zunyi County Police Department
arrested local practitioners Mr. Zhang Chuanguang, Mr. Zhang Jiaming and his
son, Mr. Peng Jizu, and Ms. Mu Guiping. They have been detained in Zunyi County
Detention Center and subjected to persecution. 20. [Jingmen City, HuBei Province] Practitioners Mr. Yu Jingguang and Ms. Xu
Changhong Transferred to Fanjistai Prison in Jingmen City, Shayang County on
March 26, 2007 21. [Zijin County, Guangdong Province] Practitioner Mr. He Jionghui Arrested Mr. He Jionghui, 36, is an employee of the Water and Electricity Bureau in
Zijin County. On May 10, 2007, eight or nine police officers from the Zijin
County 610 Office, the State Security Division, and the Fucheng Town Police
Station suddenly entered Mr. He's workplace and took him away. That afternoon,
he was moved to the so-called "Guangzhou Legal System School" (which
is a brainwashing center) to be persecuted. 22. [Guangzhou City, Guandong Province] Practitioner Ms. Shen Yuanhui
Sentenced to One and a Half Years in a Forced Labor Camp On April 18, 2007, practitioner Ms. Shen Yuanhui, from the Zhuhai District,
Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province, was reported to police when she was
distributing truth-clarifying materials near the No. 25 Middle School on Wende
Road. Afterwards, officers from Zhujiang Street Police Station arrested and
detained her in the Yuexiu District Detention Center. She has been sentenced to
one and a half years of forced labor and will be sent to Guangzhou City Women's
Forced Labor Camp. 23. [Zhaoqing City, Guangdong Province] Ms. Liang Shiqiong Sentenced to
Forced Labor Ms. Liang Shiqiong, over 60, was taken away when she was distributing
truth-clarifying materials in Sihui City, Guangdong Province. Afterwards, she
was detained in Suhui City Detention Center. It has been verified that she was
sentenced to one year of forced labor. Before the Chinese New Year, Ms. Liang
was sent to the Sanshui Women's Forced Labor Camp for persecution. 24. [Daqing City, Heilongiang Province] Mr. Chen Qingli Detained in the
Daqing City Detention Center On April 25, 2007, when Mr. Chen Qingli was working, he was arrested and
taken to Daqing City Detention Center. His home was searched and his computer
and printer were stolen. His family members have not been allowed to visit him. 25. [Jianyang City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Xu Huiying Taken into Custody On April 25, 2007, Ms. Xu Huiying, a practitioner from Shiqiao Town, Jianyang
City, was arrested and her home was searched. She is detained at Lezhi County
Detention Center. 26. [Hefei City, Anhui Province] Mr. Tao Yingqun Taken into Custody Mr. Tao Yingqun is 61 years old. On April 3, 2007, he was reported to police
when he was distributing truth-clarifying materials. Eight officers from the
Qiaobei Police Station in Shangpai Town broke into his home and took him to
Suzhou City Prison. 27. [Liyi City, Shandong Province] Mr. Liu Yuanjie and Mr. Wang Yongzeng
Tortured In September 2000, the guards in the No. 10 Division of the No. 2 Forced
Labor Camp in Shandong Province secured the hands and feet of Mr. Liu Yuanjie, a
practitioner from Mengyin County, with handcuffs and shackles and forced him
into a confined position on a small bed for two weeks. Mr. Wang Yongzeng, a practitioner from Mengyin County, was sentenced to
forced labor twice by the police officers from Mengyin County 610 Office and
Police Department in March 2000 and April 2003. Bian Dayong (male), the deputy
director of the Mengyin County Police Department, once beat Mr. Wang mercilessly
with a broom. When he was detained in the No. 2 Labor Camp in Shandong Province,
he was forced to sit on a small backless stool for more than 16 hours a day.
Attempts were made for him to be forcefully "transformed." 28. [Chongqing City] Mr. Tang Jinming Detained in Yongchuan Prison Practitioner Mr. Tang Jinming was taken into custody when he was clarifying
the truth about Falun Gong in April 2005. Later, he was secretly sentenced to
five years in prison. On March 10, 2006, he was transferred to Yongchuan Prison. Practitioners Mr. Zhang Shengquan, Mr. Zhang Quanliang, Mr. Yang Zuolin, Mr.
Li Zhonglan, Mr. Su Jianqiu, and Mr. Jingwei are also detained in Yongchuan
Prison. 29. [Chongqing City] Twelve Practitioners Persecuted to Death Mr. Nie Jiheng from Banan District was over 50 years old. He was an English
translator in a chemical plant. He was persecuted to death in 2003. Mr. Yang Yanhai was 62 years old. He was formerly a senior lecturer in the
Chongqing City Administration Institute. He was persecuted to death on January
5, 2005. Mr. Zhang Zuorun was persecuted to death in August 2001. Mr. Liu Chunshu was persecuted to death in January 2002. Mr. Pu Qingjiang was persecuted to death in December 2000. Mr. Wang Shuqing was persecuted to death in October 2005. Ms. Liu Zijuan was persecuted to death in September 2005. Mr. Zheng Changjin was persecuted to death in March 2006. Ms. Gao Yunling was persecuted to death during the Lantern Festival of 2006. Ms. Zhong Zhizhen, Ms. Qu Renfang, and Mr. Liao Guoming were persecuted to
