Deceased Falun Gong Practitioner Ms. Zhang Tiansu Injected with Nerve-Damaging Drugs at Chongzhou City Veterans' Hospital in Sichuan Province

The Chongzhou City Veterans' Hospital in Sichuan Province is also called the Yuantong Mental Hospital. Ms. Zhang Tiansu, a retired teacher from Xindu County, was force-fed nerve-damaging drugs at this hospital in July 2003. The drugs caused memory loss. She had a painful expression on her face and also developed long-term insomnia. Xindu County 610 Office agents illegally sent her and her son-in-law to this mental hospital in late 2002 because she had appealed in Beijing on behalf of Falun Gong three times.

When other practitioners saw Ms. Zhang at the end of January 2005, the noticed that her health had deteriorated and she had to rely on sleeping pills to get some rest at night. One practitioner tried to call her at the hospital and was told she had returned home before the Chinese New Year and died.

Practitioner Mr. Lu Yeguo from Chongzhou City was in his 70s. The 610 Office agents took him to the same mental hospital in 2003. He was injected with psychotic drugs for two weeks.
