Oslo, Norway: People on a Shopping Street Informed about Death Camps in China
By a Norwegian practitioner
(Clearwisdom.net) There was more than shopping going on during the
No-Car-Day on the busy shopping street of Bogstadveien in Oslo on May 5, 2007.
Falun Gong practitioners in Norway distributed information about organs being
removed from living Falun Gong practitioners in death camps in China, their
bodies cremated to eliminate all evidence, and the organs sold for huge profits. No-Car-Days in Bogstadveien, with its many sales, outdoor shopping stands and
teeming street life, always attract many people. Practitioners were there to
tell people about the organ trade and how it is part of the brutal persecution
of Falun Gong in China. The Chinese regime removes organs from living
practitioners, who are killed in the process and cremated to remove all evidence
of the crime. The practitioners carried large posters with the message, "Death Camps
Exposed in China: Stealing Organs from Living Falun Gong Practitioners, Selling
Them for Profit." They also distributed flyers with more information about
the persecution of Falun Gong, which has lasted since 1999, when the former
Chinese Communist Party (CCP) leader Jiang Zemin could not tolerate that there
were more people practicing Falun Gong than members of the CCP. The response from the public was very positive: A Chinese practitioner met a lady who said, referring to the organ
harvesting, "I have read it. It is horrific!" The Chinese practitioner
also said that she noticed that people really wanted and were grateful for the
flyers, and that their eyes were sparkling. An elderly Chinese practitioner, who came to Norway as a refugee and who does
not yet know much Norwegian, said through a translator that when many people saw
her poster, they came to her and asked for a flyer. She also felt that people
was genuinely interested. A Norwegian practitioner said that people saw his poster, read it, and said,
"I want a flyer!" Another person said, "I do not want a flyer,
but I appreciate what you are doing!" He felt that people were grateful for
more information. Another Norwegian practitioner shared that an elderly gentleman came and
pointed at her poster and asked if it was true. When the practitioner told him
that death camps where Falun Gong practitioners had their organs stolen really
existed, the elderly gentleman said, "That is cruel." He took a flyer
and said he wanted to read more. A group of youths wanted to borrow a practitioner's pen. One of them asked
what she was demonstrating for. When they learned about the organ harvesting,
one could see from the expressions on their faces that they thought that it was
horrific. Many, both young and old, took flyers after reading the practitioners'
posters.
