Ottawa, Canada: Falun Gong Warmly Applauded During the Annual Flotilla (Photo)


(Clearwisdom.net) The annual Ottawa Flotilla made its way up the Rideau Canal on May 20, 2007. Ottawa Falun Gong practitioners' flower boat was especially eye-catching, earning acclamations and warm applause all along the canal. Many spectators, even passengers on buses on both banks, kept imitating the "celestial maidens" who demonstrated the Falun Gong exercises. Practitioners also noticed some Chinese people's subtle change from being surprised to applauding proudly. This was the seventh year that practitioners highlighted the goodness of Falun Dafa on the Rideau Canal for Ottawa and visitors from around the world. The mayor was among the spectators welcoming over 40 flower boats that participated in the eight-mile-long parade.
