(Clearwisdom.net) The three grandparents in our home are all over 70 years of age. My paternal grandmother is the eldest, at over 77. My paternal grandfather is 75 years old, and my maternal grandmother is 72. Although the three grandparents are elderly, they are still physically strong. As a result, their children and grandchildren are all very relieved. Our families are also very harmonious. We all say that these are the blessings that Dafa gives to us.

Before 1996, my maternal grandmother was very sick. As a result of her prolonged illness, she became her own doctor. She even self-prescribed and bought her won medications by herself. Later on she learned from her fellow villagers that there was one kind of qigong that could actually keep you fit and cure your diseases. So she listened to the teacher's lectures and started the qigong practice. To her surprise, she truly wanted to follow the teaching of "Truthfulness, Compassion, Tolerance" taught by Teacher. Whenever she experienced sickness karma, she treated it correctly. The pain in her body gradually disappeared, and she changed into a new person with a very good state of mind. This miraculous practice was called Falun Gong. In the following ten years, she has not only become fit physically, she has also become younger and younger. Her white hair has now regained half its color. Whoever sees her says that she looks not more than 60 years old.

The great changes in my maternal grandmother influenced the people around her. My paternal grandmother also started to practice Dafa after she witnessed my maternal grandmother's improvements. Even when Falun Gong is being severely persecuted today in China, she still studies the Fa and does the exercises. She quit her 50-year smoking habit after practicing the exercises. She has become physically strong. You can only find someone over 70 years old who has no illnesses and does not need to take medication among Falun Gong practitioners.

My paternal grandfather is not a Falun Gong practitioner. He is simple and honest but surly. He was not against Dafa but did not believe in its miraculousness. However, after one thing happened last winter, he started to believe in the miracles of Dafa.

After my paternal grandfather said something last winter that did not respect the Fa, he suddenly had pain in his lower back. The pain was so severe that he started to shed tears. He tried everything, but nothing gave him any relief. Finally, he phoned my father, who is his oldest son. He asked my father to take him into town to get an injection. Since it happened to be on my day off and I was at home, I went with my father and younger brother to see my grandfather. After becoming clear about what had happened, my father, younger brother, and I started to reason with him and clarify the facts. After we talked for an hour, he seemed to have his questions answered. My father asked him to recite silently in his heart, "Falun Dafa is good, Truth-Compassion-Forbearance is good." "And if you recite it sincerely, Dafa will save you and help reduce your pain," my father said. Before we left, my father asked him whether he would still wanted to go have an injection and my grandfather said he wanted to wait and see. The next day my father went back to visit him. My grandfather told him that he did not have any pain and that it was really miraculous. It really worked to recite, "Falun Dafa is good, Truth-Compassion-Forbearance is good." He did not feel the pain after he started to recite the sentences the day before. That was why he said he did not need to go to town to have an injection. At night, he kept reciting and did not feel pain any more. It was really miraculous. Since then, whenever he has had any pain, he recites those phrases. Whenever he goes for a walk or has nothing else to do, he keeps reciting. He also wrote a song that praises Dafa. Whenever he is happy, he sings the song. My grandfather told me this when I went home for the New Year. Since he does not have any physical pain, he feels especially good and is very happy.

The blessings that Falun Dafa has given to our family are more than what I have described above. We could take several days and still not finish describing them all. Especially for those who do not understand Dafa, I hope after reading this, you will think about it carefully. Falun Dafa can bring so many good things to people, why does the Chinese Communist Party still persecute it and not allow people to say Dafa is good or practice it?
