Holland: Exposing the CCP's Atrocities in Amsterdam (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net) On May 6, 2007, Falun Gong practitioners in Holland held an activity in Dam Square, Amsterdam, appealing to the EU to use open-door human rights dialogue with China to urge the Chinese communist regime to release all illegally detained Falun Gong practitioners and to condemn and stop the regime's persecution of Falun Gong.

Holland had recently commemorated the 62nd anniversary of the end of the World War II. There were still wreaths laid under the memorial monument. Many people came here to remember soldiers and civilians who died during World War II. At Dam square opposite the monument, an exhibition of the Chinese communist regime's murderous history and its brutal persecution of Falun Gong attracted the attention of many people, as did poster displays of the regime's organ harvesting from living Falun Gong practitioners. People were very concerned and shocked. After seeing the posters, many people signed the petition condemning the Chinese communist regime's persecution of Falun Gong.

A Dutch gentleman told practitioners excitedly: "I know China well, my wife is Chinese. Although she was born in Hong Kong, she is very afraid of the Chinese Communist Party. Many people are also afraid, as is the EU because the Chinese Communist Party is so evil. Heaven will definitely eliminate it." He read all the posters and signed the petition.

A young Chinese student browsed the posters very carefully and then came over to talk to practitioners. He said that he knew about what the posters said a long time ago. He felt that Chinese people have experienced so many horrible things under the communist regime and have become indifferent and very miserable. When practitioners asked if he had withdrawn from the communist organisations, he said he is no longer a member of the Chinese Communist Party youth league. He was one before and now he is too old. When practitioners asked him again if he could definitely confirm that he is no longer a member, he suddenly realised and said earnestly: "I want to withdraw now." Practitioners told him that not only should he officially withdraw but should also tell his family, relatives and friends to withdraw. This is a choice that must be made by every Chinese person.

There was a tourist from China who silently read all the posters. The painful recollection of his past sufferings showed up on his face. Pointing to the posters, he told practitioners: "All this is familiar to the Chinese people." When practitioners mentioned to him about quitting the Chinese Communist Party organisations, he said he hates the Chinese Communist Party greatly and would never side with it. Practitioners told him that if everyone stands up and spurns it, it would then stop the persecution of the Chinese people sooner. He agreed and wrote down his name declaring his withdrawal from the memberships from all Communist Party organisations.

Amsterdam is a renowned tourist attraction. Many tourists from different countries became aware of the atrocities committed by the Chinese Communist Party that day. Practitioners prepared information about Falun Gong in over ten languages to meet the needs of people from different nations. They told people repeatedly that many terrible things are occurring in China. Everyone who heard the truth was shocked. A Chinese gentleman said movingly, "I also see you in other countries; you are truly remarkable".
