Tortured Ms. Gong Fengqiang, a practitioner from the coal mine in Dalianghe Town,
Yilan County, was illegally detained in the Yilan County No.1
Detention Center. On April 20, 2007, she was taken to the court. At that time,
she was too weak to speak due to the torture she suffered. Nonetheless, she
persisted in exposing the brutal beatings she suffered when a confession was
extorted from her. Afterwards, the Procuratorate decided to try the case again. Recently, she was tortured until she suffered mental distress. The symptoms
lasted five hours. During that time, she stared blankly and was restrained to an

After Being Released from a Five Years Jail Term in Jilin Prison Mr. Song Sheng, a practitioner from Qianan County, Songyuan City, was
detained and subjected to persecution in Jilin Prison for 5 years. He was
released on March 27, 2007. At about 11 a.m. on April 27, 2007, officers from
Kunchi Street Police Station in Qianan County broke into Mr. Song's residence.
They searched the house and took him away, stealing a calendar, two paper
cuttings of lucky characters, and a fan on which the truth about Falun Gong was
printed. That afternoon, his family members went to visit him. They learned that
Mr. Song was arrested. Kunchi Street Police Station: 86-438-8227912 3. [Jiamusi City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Yin Haizhu from Jiamusi City
Sentenced to Ten Years in Prison The Gongnong District Court in Hegang City, Heilongjiang Province sentenced
practitioner Ms. Yin Haizhu from Jiamusi City to prison for 10 years. She is
detained in the Hegang City No. 2 Detention Center and has become emaciated due
to persecution. Moreover, the food in the detention center has been poor
recently; everyone who has eaten the food has had diarrhea. 4. [Antu County, Jilin Province] Supplementary Information on Four
Practitioners Taken Into Custody Ms. Zhu Yazhen, Ms. Zhu Yaxian, Ms. Zhu Yaping, and Mr. Li Leyou,
practitioners from Erdaobaihe Town, Antu County, were taken away and detained in
Antu County Detention Center. When Mr. Li Leyou refused to cooperate with the unreasonable demands of the
police officers and shouted, "Falun Dafa is good!" four officers tried to push him into a police
car. A tall, fat officer threw his fist at Mr. Li but his wife held back the
officer's fist. The neighbors heard the shouting and went outside; they were
indignant. Mr. Li was interrogated and beat mercilessly at the detention center. The officers stole a laptop, two cell phones, eight boxes of printing paper,
a big stapler, and a satellite receiver. Ms. Zhu Yaping has been taken into custody many times for practicing Falun
Gong. Her husband could not withstand the tribulation and divorced her. After
that, she lived with her mother. Now, her 89-year-old mother is at home
unattended. Officers of the State Security Division in Antu County searched Ms. Zhu
Yaping's home and took her satellite receiver, laptop and printer. Another four practitioners were taken into custody. The officers took their
satellite receivers as well. They are detained at Antu County Detention Center. 5. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Practitioner Mr. Cong Wei Still Detained
After Declared Innocent At about 4:00 a.m. on September 12, 2006, police officers from the State
Security Division in Ganjingzi District, the Jianjinshan Police Station in
Ganjingzi District, the Navy Square Police Station in Zhongshan District, and
the State Security Division in Zhongshan District jointly took Mr. Cong Wei into
custody. Within six months, in his first trial, the Ganjingzi District Court
declared Mr. Cong innocent. Afterwards, this case was sent to the Dalian City
610 Office and Middle Level Court. For more than six months, Mr. Cong's family
members visited the related units many times to clarify the truth. Finally, Mr. Cong's case was labeled with: "the facts are unclear and
the charge is untenable," and it was sent back to the Jiaojinshan Police
Station. Mr. Cong's property, including four Canon printers and some office
supplies, has been returned to his wife. However, he is still detained in the
No. 6 Ward of the Yaojia Detention Center in Dalian City. 6. [Baishan City, Jilin Province] Elderly Couple Harassed by Police On Datonggou Street in Baishan City, an elderly practitioner couple, each
over 60, was taken away on about April 21. The practitioners were taken to the
police station and interrogated about the source of their Falun Gong
truth-clarifying materials. Under extreme pressure, they admitted that Ms. Liu
Fang provided the material. They were then released. 7. [Daqing City, Heilongjiang Province] Many Practitioners Harassed and Taken
into Custody On the afternoon of April 21, Mr. Zhou Wenyan, an employee of the No. 4 Core
of the No. 8 Oil Extraction Plant in Daqing City, was taken away by officers
from the Daqing City Police Department. At noon on April 24, police officers from Honggang District broke into the
house of Mr. Shi Baosheng and Ms. Li Chunying, practitioners who work at the No. 4 Oil
Extraction Plant. The officers took the two practitioners away and searched the
house. Between 8 a.m. and noon on April 25, police officers from the Jingxi
Community arrested Ms. Cao Fengqin, Ms. Yin Guirong, and Ms. Yang Jinfeng. Ms.
Cao Fengqin is a 70-year-old retired teacher. Her husband died, and she lives by
herself. Ms. Yin Guirong is 68 years old. Her computer and printer were taken.
Ms. Yang Jinfeng is a 50-year-old worker. Her computer and printer were taken as
well. At first, Ms. Yang's son refused to open the door for the police. The
police broke down the door and took her son, who is not a practitioner, away as
well. His father bailed him out the same night. At noon on April 25, officers from the Longnan District Police Department
broke into Mr. Liu Bo's home and took Mr. Liu and Ms. Liang Yajie away. They
also broke into Ms. Yu Yaqin's home and took her daughter-in-law to the police
department. Ms. Hong Lanying, Ms. Hu Guizhi, and Ms. He Xiuying were taken in
custody as well. At about 10 a.m. on April 25, officers from Dongan District Police Department
took Ms. Chen Qingli into custody on her way to work. Afterwards, the police
searched her home and took her computer and printer. During the search, Ms.
Chen's 60-year-old mother fainted. The police simply ignored her. At about 10:30 a.m. on April 25, four police officers from the Daqing City
Police Department and Saertu District Police Department, together with Ta
Huailiang (male), secretary of the Vehicle Team, Cheng Jin (male), chief of the
Security Section, and Zhang Yueming (male), director of the Security Section,
rushed into the office of Mr. Li Hui, a practitioner on the Vehicle Team of the
Commodity Cooperation under the Petroleum Administrative Bureau, and took him
away. The same afternoon, the officers searched Mr. Li's home and confiscated
his property, including his computer and printer. After Mr. Li was taken to the
Saertu District Police Department, he escaped with righteous thoughts on the
morning of April 26. On the morning of April 25, before Mr. Li was arrested, Ms. Li Guixiang, a
practitioner working in the service center of the Commodity Cooperation, was
taken into custody at her office. On the morning of April 25, officers from the Dongan District Police
Department arrested practitioner Ms. Lu Guilan from Dongfengxin Village, Daqing
City and her son Mr. Yan Jiaohui, a non-practitioner. At about 9 a.m. on April 26, Mr. Jiang Pai, a practitioner from the Changxi
Community, Longfeng District, Daqing City, was arrested at the entrance of his
workplace by officers from the Yixi Police Department. Between April 21 and April 25, Mr. Liang Yahui (who has been released), Ms.
Li Hui (who escaped), Ms. Ren Xiuping, Ms. Chen Qi, Ms. Zhao Shukun, and Ms. Liu
Yanxia were taken into custody by the police. 8. [Boli County, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Gao Shuhua Left Home on April 17,
2007 to Avoid Persecution 9. [Lianghai City, Liaoning Province] Practitioner Mr. Zhao Hong Taken into
Custody by Officers of the State Security Division At about 1:00 p.m. on April 27, 2007, officers of the State Security Division
in Linghai City arrested practitioner Mr. Zhao Hong from Jincheng Town when he
went to the Linghai City Detention Center to visit detained fellow

Custody Mr. Chen Ye, a practitioner working in the Metal Structure Factory under the
steel plant, was taken away by police officers when they were searching his
mother's home, who is also a practitioner, on April 13, 2007. The police also
stole his computer and truth-clarifying materials. 11. [Lianghai City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Liu Mei And Ms. Li Xiulan Returned
Home Safely On April 24, 2007, Ms. Liu Mei and Ms. Li Xiulan, practitioners from Jianye
Township, were taken into custody. On the night of April 27, they were rescued
and returned home. However, Mr. Guo Feng remains detained. 12. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Ms. Li Yueying's Residence Searched At about 7:00 p.m. on April 26, 2007, three police officers from Kuanping
Police Station in Changchun City broke into Ms. Li Yueying's home and
confiscated tapes of Teacher's lectures, Zhuan Falun, the
magazine "Minghui Weekly," a Newman MP3 player, and an
exercise music tape. 13. [Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Si Baosheng and Ms. Li Chunying from the No.
4 Oil Extraction Plant in Daqing City Taken Away by Police Officers from the
State Security Division and the Honggang District Police Department 14. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Mr. Sun Jinglin and His Wife Taken Away At about 8:00 p.m. on April 26, 2007, officers from the Quanyan Police
Station in Erdaogou District, Changchun City broke into practitioner Mr. Sun
Jinglin's home on the pretext of raiding an illegal gambling site. They
ransacked the place, found Falun Gong books and truth-clarifying materials, and
asked where they were from. Mr. Sun and his wife refused to cooperate with the
demands and were taken to the police station. Quanyan Police Station: 86-431-84885244 15. [Wafangdian City, Liaoning Province] Practitioner Ms. Wang Min Arrested
at Home At about 9:00 p.m. on April 25, police officers from Wafangdian City and
Paotai Town broke into the home of Ms. Wang Min, a practitioner from Paotai
Town. Ms. Wang was taken into custody, and her computer was stolen. 16. [Guangdong Province] More Information on Persecuted Practitioners The Zeng City Court notified the family of Ms. Mo Xiaomei that she would be
taken to court at about 10:00 a.m. on May 10. Ms. Tang Jinai, a practitioner from Jiulong Town, Luogang District, Guangzhou
City, was sentenced to prison for four years. She refused to sign the sentencing
letter. She is currently detained in the Chatou Detention Center. Ms. Tang's appeal has been rejected. Her husband, Mr. Feng Bingkun, was taken
away on the night of February 21, 2005 when he was distributing Falun Gong
truth-clarifying materials. Later, he was sentenced to three and a half years in
prison and detained at Sihui Prison in Guangdong Province. Their three-year-old
daughter is being raised by relatives. 17. [Beijing City] Elderly Practitioner Ms. Ma Lianhu Taken Away Practitioner Ms. Ma Lianhu, over 70, is from Fangshan District, Beijing City.
On April 19, 2007, officers from the Fangshan District State Security
Division and the Chengguan Town Police Station took her into custody at her home
and then searched it. They also took many of her personal belongings. She is
detained at the Fangshan District Detention Center. 18. [Yantai City, Shandong Province] Fifteen-year-old Mr. Wang Peiren
Detained for About One Month Practitioner Ms. San Lu, her husband, and their son had to leave home for a
long time due to the persecution. The authorities discovered their location, and
police officers from the Chengshanwei Town Police Station in Rongcheng City went
to arrest them. Ms. San and her husband escaped with righteous thoughts, but
their 15-year-old son, Wang Peiren, was arrested. He has been detained for about
one month. 19. [Baoding City, Hebei Province] Practitioner Mr. Huo Taken into Custody On April 25, officers from the Jiannan Police Station arrested practitioner
Mr. Huo, 70, from the No. 1 Community of No. 482 Plant. Mr. Luo escaped from the
police station with righteous thoughts on the same night. This is another case
of persecution following the arrest of Mr. Guo Zhiping and Ms. Du Sumiao
committed by the Jiannan Police Station. Ms. Yu Ruimin was also taken into
custody several days ago. Xinshi District Police Department: 3161110, 86-312-3162110, 86-312-3137139 20. [Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province] Four Practitioners Taken to Shisanli
Detention Center From 2:00 a.m. to 4:00 a.m. on April 26, 2007, six or seven police officers
arrested practitioners Ms. Bai Mei, Ms. Shi Yuhuan, Ms. Liang Xiutao, and Ms.
Zhang Fenghua when they were walking on their way to the Siwanzi Town Police
Station. At 11:00 a.m. that same day, Shi Jingjun (male), the deputy director of
the Chongli County Police Department, as well as Chuai Jiang (male), Yang
Wenliang (male), Wei Jiangui, Zhang Hai, and Wang Yujun, searched the four
practitioners' homes. The practitioners are detained at Shisanli Detention

Practitioners On the night of April 18, 2007, officers of the Weifang City Police
Department plotted the arrest of and took into custody 30 practitioners in
Weifang City. They are: Ms. Wang Leying, Ms. Wang Changxiu, Ms. Han Yuhua, Ms.
Liu Aimei, Mr. Du Lefu, Ms. Song Yuexiu, Mr. Liu Guoxiu, Ms. Lian Di, Ms. Dai
Zongqiu, Mr. Tan Foli, Ms. Liu Suxiang, Ms. Zhang Dayi, Ms. Song Lianfeng, Ms.
Qiu Zhaohua, Ms. Zhang Peirong, Ms. Dai Zongzhen, Mr. Wang Peng, Mr. Wang Xinmin,
Ms. Wang Yu, Mr. Wang Jilin and his wife, Ms. Wang Guifang, Ms. Zheng Linxiu,
Ms. Li Rendong, Ms. Tian Ruixia, Ms. Hua Yuliang, Ms. Yang Zhifang, Mr. Cui
Lihua, and others. Among them, Ms. Han Yuhua and Ms. Liu Suxiang escaped from
the detention center with righteous thoughts. Others were sent to different
detention centers and subject to persecution. 22. [Jinan City, Shandong Province] Practitioners Ms. Cheng Shuxiang and Ms.
Du Shuqing Arrested On April 25, officers from the Beiyuan Road Police Station arrested
practitioners Ms. Cheng Shuxiang and Ms. Du Shuqing while they were distributing
Falun Gong truth-clarifying materials. They are held at the detention center. 23. [Beijing City] Supplementary Information on Arrested Practitioners in
Xisanqi Community Recently, practitioners Ms. Zhao Suli and Ms. Wang Shuxian were arrested. Ms.
Zhao lived in the Air Force Yard. Before the New Year, her home was searched by
the police. Days ago, the officers searched her home again. Ms. Zhao is detained
in the Yongtai Community. Ms. Wang Shuxian was taken away after being reported by an elderly lady, Ms.
Liu. At the end of last year, Ms. Liu was taken away by police officers from the
Huilongguan Police Station when she was distributing Falun Gong truth-clarifying
materials. She was released several months later. Days ago, the police visited
her again and threatened that if she did not betray her fellow practitioners,
she would be detained again. Ms. Liu reported Ms. Wang Shuxian. 24. [Dachang Hui Autonomous County, Hebei Province] Family Members of
Practitioner Mr. Yang Jinlong Deprived of Their Right to Visit Mr. Yang Jinlong, a practitioner from Dachang Hui Autonomous County, Hebei
Province, was sentenced to two years in prison, without any legal proceedings,
on February 4, 2006. He was sent to Jidong Prison; his legs and feet were
suffering severe pain. When his family members went to visit him on March 15, 2007, they were told
that they were not allowed to visit Mr. Yang. 25. [Baoding City, Hebei Province] Practitioner Ms. Huo Ruihua Arrested Ms. Hue Ruihua is a retired worker from the No. 482 Plant in Baoding City.
She lives in the No. 1 Community of the plant. On the afternoon of April 25, two
police officers took her away in a police car. She shouted "Falun Dafa is
good!" the entire time. Later, it is said that her home was searched. 26. [Hebei Province] Persecution of Practitioners Committed by Chief of
Political Security Section in Shenzhou City Since January 2007, Zhang Dechun (male), chief of the Political Security
Section in Shenzhou City, together with other police officers, participated
in the arrest of Ms. Wang Ruihua, a practitioner from Wangzhuang Village,
Wangjing Town, Shenzhou City, and extorted a large amount of money from her. In
March 2007, Zhang searched the homes of Ms. Chun Hong and Ms. Yan Li. They left
home to avoid further persecution. Zhang Dechun (male): 86-13383682686 (cell) 27. [Beijing] Practitioner Ms. Wang Shuxian Taken Away On the night of April 23, 2007, Wang Jing (male), a police officer from the
Qinghe Police Station in Haidian District, Beijing, and seven other officers
broke into the home of practitioner Ms. Wang Shuxian in the No. 19 Building of
Nandianxincun Community in Huilongguan Town. They claimed that someone reported
her to the police and then took her away. The officers took Ms. Wang's
daughter's computer and other property. Ms. Wang is currently detained at Qinghe
Detention Center. 28. [Chicheng County, Hebei Province] Twelve Practitioners Arrested On the night of April 23, 2007, Ms. Ji Yuhua, Ms. Wang Sulan, and Ms. Ning
Ning were arrested when they were distributing Falun Gong truth-clarifying
materials. On April 24 and April 25, Ms. Wang Yuzhen, Ms. Wang Yuhai, Mr. Zhao
Bingheng, Ms. Guo Xiulin, Ms. Lin Cuihua, Ms. Chen Haiyan, Ms. Wang Yufeng, Mr.
Wang Haojun, and another male practitioner were also arrested. Their homes were
also searched, and their Falun Gong books, computers, and MP3 players were
confiscated. They are detained separately at the local police department,

(Cell) 29. [Hebei Province] Mr. Zheng Zhicheng Detained in the No. 1 Detention
Center in Qinhuangdao City 30. [Weihai City, Shandong Province] Ms. Lian Qingling and Her Husband Taken
into Custody On April 23, 2007, officers from the State Security Section of Wendeng City
and the Houjia Town Police Station took away Ms. Lian Qingling and her husband
(a non-practitioner) from Houjia Town. It was spring ploughing season. Ms. Lian
and her husband were busy ploughing, but they were taken into custody without
cause. Their several mu (1 mu is 0.0667 acres) of land were left
unattended. 31. [Beijing] Practitioner Ms. Fan Yuhuan Sentenced to Forced Labor On the morning of April 10, 2007, practitioner Ms. Fan Yuhuan from the Nankou
Area of Changping District, Beijing City was taking the train to work. Railroad
police officers searched her purse and found truth-clarifying materials. She was
immediately taken into custody. Ms. Fan has been in the Chaoyang Railroad
Detention Center since the morning of April 11. She has been forced to work
during the day and deprived of sleep at night. Her family sent in 500 yuan,
and the guards gave them a receipt for only 400 yuan, keeping the remaining 100
yuan for themselves. The guards have denied her family visitation. Ms. Fan's
family has now received notice that she has been sentenced to two and a half
years of forced labor. She was scheduled to be taken to the Tuanhe Forced Labor
Camp after May 1. 32. [Tangshan City, Hebei Province] Practitioners Ms. Zhang Zongsu and Her
Husband Taken into Custody and Transferred to a Detention Center At 10:00 a.m. on April 26, 2007, six plainclothes police officers suddenly
broke into the home of Ms. Zhang Zongsu and her husband Mr. Li Guocai. Mr. Li is
a retired worker from the Fourth Company of the No. 2 Bureau at Chine
Construction Group Company. The police searched their home and arrested the
couple and their non-practitioner son. They confiscated a personal computer, a
printer, and some other items. The couple's son has been released. Ms. Zhang and
Mr. Li were initially held at the Diaoyutai Police Station. The same afternoon,
they were transferred to the Tangshan No. 1 Detention Center. Diaoyutai Police Station in Tangshan City: 86-315-2824632, 86-315-2026324 33. [Jinan City, Shandong Province] Practitioners Ms. Du Shuqing and Ms.
Cheng Shuxiang Taken into Custody On April 25, 2007, practitioners Ms. Du Shuqing and Ms. Cheng Shuxiang from
Jinan City went out to distribute truth-clarifying materials. They were taken
into custody by officers from Beiyuan Town Police Station and have since been
taken to the provincial detention center. Their families have been denied any
visits. 34. [Baoding City, Hebei Province] Practitioner Ms. Huo Ruihua Escapes After
Being Taken into Custody At around 6:00 p.m. on April 26, 2007, Ms. Huo Ruihua, a practitioner from
Xinshi District, Baoding City, was taken into custody by officers of the South
Jianshe Road Police Station. The officers also searched her home. Ms. Huo
managed to escape from the police station the same night with righteous

86-312-3162110, 86-312-3137139 35. [Beijing] Practitioner Mr. Chen Youshan Taken into Custody On April 22, 2007, officers from the Zhoukoudian Police Station in Fangshan
District, Beijing broke into practitioner Mr. Chen Youshan's home in Nanhanji
Village, Zhoukoudian Town. The officers searched his home and took him into
custody after finding twenty or so Falun Dafa books. Mr. Chen is being held at
the Anzhuang Brainwashing Center in Fangshan Disrict. Zhoukoudian Town Police Station: 86-10-69301379 36. [Beijing] Practitioner Ms. Peng Guiqin Held in the Tuanhe Dispatching
Division in Beijing Practitioners Ms. Peng Guiqin, Ms. Xu Wenping, Ms. Cai Suxia, Mr. Lu Xiaowen,
and Zhang (surname, gender unknown) are from Dongzhuangzi Village in Hebei Town,
Fangshan District, Beijing. In early February 2007, they were arrested by the
State Security Branch Unit of the Fangshan Police Department. The practitioners
are being held at the Tuanhe Dispatching Division in Beijing. Ms. Ren Lianying,
who managed to escape, was arrested at her home by the local police and security
officials who were staked out there. Ms. Ren's whereabouts are unknown. Hebei Police Station in Fangshan District: 86-10-60377643 37. [Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province] Ms. Sun Fuxian and Another
Practitioner Taken into Custody after Being Followed On the afternoon of April 26, 2007, practitioners Ms. Feng Yuying and Ms. Sun
Fuxian were clarifying the truth in the High and Latest Technology District.
Officers at the Yaojiazhuang Town Police Station in the district followed them

Zhaoyuan City 610 Office took practitioner Mr. Sun Fengyi to the brainwashing
center. The officers also searched his home in Nansunjia Village of Canzhuang
Town, Zhaoyuan City, confiscating a VCD player and a cassette recorder. 40. [Beijing] Ms. Zhao, a Cashier at Qinghe Plaza in Haidian District,
Recently Held in a Brainwashing Center Located in the Yongtai Residential
Complex in Haidian District 41. [Beijing] Practitioner Ms. Zhao Suli of the Xisanqi Area Held at a
Facility Operated by the 610 Office in the Yongtai Residential Complex in the
Qinghe Area 42. [Baoding City, Hebei Province] Practitioner Ms. Su Lanying Taken into
Custody; Her Home Searched On April 14, 2007, practitioner Ms. Su Lanying, 74, a retired employee of the
People's Air Defense Office in Baoding City, who lives in the High Tech
Development District in Baoding City, was taken into custody by officers of the

into Custody On April 24, 2007, practitioner Ms. Liu Fengqin from Hailin City was
videotaped by security cameras while she was posting Falun Dafa truth-clarifying

around 5:00 p.m., Chen Binxia (male), division head of the Forestry Police
Department, and other officers knocked on Ms. Liu's door and told her family
that they were there to verify everyone's residential status. The officers then
waited outside Ms. Liu's home in a nearby place until about 9:00 p.m. Then they
broke into Ms. Liu's home and pulled her into the police vehicle. Ms. Liu

two years of forced labor by the State Security Division of the Qingshanhu
Police Department in Nanchang City, Jiangxi Province. Ms. Peng is being held at
the Nanchang City Women's Forced Labor Camp. 45. [Sichuan Province] Practitioners Mr. Lin Jun and Ms. Han Ying Held at
Neijiang Detention Center On April 12, 2007, officers of the Neijiang City 610 Office and the police
took practitioners Mr. Lin Jun and Ms. Han Ying from Nanxing Town, Guanghai City
to the Neijiang Detention Center. 46. [Huangshi City, Hubei Province] Ms. He Guoping and Other Practitioners
Taken into Custody On April 26, practitioners Ms. He Guoping and Ms. Xie Fang from Laoxialu
District in Huangshi City were taken into custody and their homes were searched.
The police also searched the homes of two other elderly practitioners, one with
the surname of Xiang (gender unknown). Ms. He and Ms. Xie are being held at the
Communist Party School in Laoxialu District. 47. [Xiushui County, Jiangxi Province] Practitioner Ms. Hu Fangju Taken into
Custody Again On April 18, 2007, practitioner Ms. Hu Fangju from Xiushui County was taken
to the detention center from her neighbor's home by the police. Ms. Hu has been
arrested numerous times and has been subjected to persecution at the Majialong
Forced Labor Camp in Jiujiang City and the Women's Prison in Nanchang City. 48. [Shantou City, Guangdong Province] Practitioner Ms. Ren Shengxiu Taken to
the Shantou Brainwashing Center Practitioner Ms. Ren Shengxiu from Shantou City was taken to the Sanshui
Forced Labor Camp two years ago by agents of the 610 Office. On April 20, 2007,
the Shantou City 610 Office took her directly from the labor camp to a
brainwashing center in Shantou City. Over a dozen practitioners are being held
at the brainwashing center. 49. [Heilongjiang Province] Facts of the Persecution at Suihua Forced Labor
Camp In about February 2007, Mr. Zhao Dezhi, a practitioner from Hegang City,
refused to work, so labor camp guards Gao Zhonghai (male) and Lian Xin (male)
had him lifted off the ground for twenty-four hours. They also kicked him in the
neck and beat him while pulling on his ears. Mr. Zhao was carried back to the
cell after being brutally beaten. On or around March 15, 2007, practitioner Mr. Peng Shuquan from Muling City
was beaten by guards Diao Xuesong (male) and Shi Jian (male), and inmate Ma
Dacheng. Mr. Peng had to be carried by two people after the beatings. Around February 3, 2007, practitioner Mr. Bao Shulin from Suihua City was
locked up in a "small cell" (1) by guards Lian Xin (male) and Gao
Zhonghai (male). He was handcuffed and shackled, and his upper body was tied to
an iron chair. His mouth was taped. The guards then taped earphones to his ears
and played "music" from "Sounds from Hell" for fifteen days. 50. [Xingcheng City, Liaoning Province] Practitioners Ms. Ji Guimin and Ms.
Chi Sufang Remain in Custody At around 1:30 p.m. on April 25, practitioners Mr. Li Haojie, Ms. Ji Guimin
and Ms. Chi Sufang from Jinzhou City were clarifying the truth near the
Xingcheng City Detention Center. Song Changjiang (male), head of the 610 Office,
found them and took them into custody. Mr. Li Haojie has been released on
"parole." Ms. Ji Guimin and Ms. Chi Sufang remain in custody. Xingcheng City Detention Center: 86-429-5152226 51. [Linghai City, Liaoning Province] Three Practitioners from Jianye
Township Transferred to Linghai City Detention Center after Being Taken into
Custody Office of the director of Linghai City Government: 86-416-8122835 52. [Shuangyashan City, Heilongjiang Province] Practitioner Mr. Kong Xiangzhu
Returns Home But Cannot Take Care of Himself Practitioner Mr. Kong Xiangzhu, who had been held at the Mudanjiang Prison,
returned home on April 18. The prison authorities unreasonably demanded 5,000
yuan as deposit. Mr. Kong cannot take care of himself. He has become emaciated
and is unable to walk. In addition, practitioners under the persecution of Hongxinglong
Administration Bureau in Shuangyashan City, including Mr. Shan Zhiping from the
Shuangyashan Farm Middle School, a teacher with the surname Meng (gender
unknown) at the same school, and three or four others, were put on trial a month
ago. There have been no results from the trial yet. 53. [Handan City, Hebei Province] Ms. Hou Haiping Taken into Custody and
Dismissed by Employer The State Security Division of Handan City Police Department, the Internet
Monitoring Branch Unit in Handan City, the State Security Division of the
Hanshan District Police Department, and the Fuyuan Police Station sent over 30
officers to break into practitioner Ms. Hou Haiping's home at 10:00 p.m. on
March 28, 2007. The police confiscated a personal computer, a portable DVD
player, Falun Dafa books, and other items. Ms. Hou's husband was taken to the
police station. The authorities threatened him with charges of abetting his
wife's activities and extorted over 10,000 yuan cash without issuing a receipt.
The police did not release him until the next afternoon. Ms. Hou was sent to the
Handan City No. 2 Detention Center. Ms. Hou Haiping, who was born in 1958 and has an associate degree, was
director of the Guangming Savings Branch Unit, affiliated with Bank of China's
Handan Branch Office. At the end of 1999, she was sentenced to three years of
forced labor for practicing Falun Gong and was sent to the No. 4 Division at
Shijiazhuang Forced Labor Camp. Ms. Hou was dismissed by the Bank of China the
same year. She went on a hunger strike for over a month until her life was in
imminent danger. She was later released on medical "parole." Three
months afterwards, she was taken to the brainwashing center in the forced labor
camp again. She returned home in the spring of 2002. She worked as an insurance
salesperson at the Ping'an Insurance Company, but after she was taken into
custody in March, the insurance company dismissed her. 54. [Yongnian County, Hebei Province] Practitioner Ms. Hou Xiaoxia Harassed
by Political Security Staff On February 10, 2007, Chen Jushan (male), head of the Political Security
Section in Yongnian County, Liu Xianhong (male), member of the Political
Security Section, and officers from Dabeiwang Police Station went to the store
where Ms. Hou Xiaoxia was working to take her into custody. Ms. Hou happened to
not be there at the time. The officers took the owner of the store into custody;
the owner was released only after being forced to pay 2,000 yuan. At around 2:00 a.m. on April 23, 2007, two officers from the No. 7 Crime
Response Team in Yongnian County climbed over the wall and into Ms. Hou's home.
Ms. Hou was asleep. Before she and her husband could put on any proper clothes,
the officers broke into the bedroom. Ms. Hou's husband scolded the two officers
and they ran out. Prior to these incidents, four officers, including Zhao Hongshan (gender
unknown), from the Jiangwu Township Police Station, broke into Ms. Hou's home at
noon on a spring day in 2005. They took Ms. Hou into custody, leaving her then
two-year-old child unattended. 55. [Shandong Province] Practitioner Mr. Zhang Yifang Held at Fei County
Detention Center At around 8:00 p.m. on April 23, 2007, patrolling officers took into custody
Mr. Zhang Yifang, who is from Mengyin County and works odd jobs in Fei County.

86-13605398898 (cell) 56. [Zibo City, Shandong Province] Practitioner Ms. Li Xiuyun Taken into
Custody Ms. Li Xiuyun is a practitioner from the Shantou area in Boshan District,
Zibo City. On April 25, 2007, officers from the Shantou Police Station took her
into custody. They ransacked her home and confiscated two personal computers,
two printers, a photocopier, and supplies. 57. [Beijing] Supplementary Information on the Detention of Practitioner Ms.
Feng Jinlan On April 6, 2007, practitioner Ms. Feng Jinlan was taken to Liyuan Police
Station. After being held there for a night, Ms. Feng was taken to the
Qiaozhuang Detention Center, where the guards forced her to walk barefoot for
three days. Ms. Feng remains at the detention center. She has been prohibited
from contacting her family. Tongzhou District Police Department in Beijing: 86-10-69523305 58. [Tianjin] Ms. Ma Huiping and Other Practitioners Remain in Custody Since the large-scale police campaign in Hongqiao District, Tianjin on March
22, nine practitioners have remained in police custody. They are: Ms. Ma Huiping,
Mr. Xuan Shucheng, Mr. Wang Shihai, Ms. Zhang Shuqin, Ms. Xie Yunshu, Ms. Li
Fengyu, Mr. Liu Chen, Ms. Ge, and Ms. Wang Peihong. 59. [Beijing] Two Practitioners at Beijing Institute of Technology Taken into
Custody In early April, two practitioners who are graduate students at the Beijing
Institute of Technology were taken to the university's security division for
distributing truth-clarifying materials. Officers at the Haidian District Police

Taken into Custody for Demanding Her Release Ms. Zhang Jie, a practitioner from the Banbuqiao area in Xuanwu District,
Beijing, is held in Daxing District. Recently, her elder sister Ms. Zhang Xia
went to the authorities, demanding the release of Ms. Zhang Jie. The police took
Ms. Zhang Xia into custody after she returned home. 61. [Xingtai City, Hebei Province] Practitioner Mr. Zhao Fuchen Taken into
Custody; His Home Searched Mr. Zhao Fuchen, 58, is a practitioner from Qinghe County, Hebei Province. He
has been persecuted numerous times since 1999 for practicing Falun Gong. On April 8, 2007, Mr. Zhao and three other people went to Linfen City, Shanxi
Province to attend a funeral service. Mr. Zhao was taken into custody by
railroad police while passing through Taiyuan Railroad Station in Shanxi
Province. On April 9, Zhang Chaoming (male), director of the Huangjinzhuang
Police Station, and the Taiyuan railroad police arrived at Mr. Zhao's home. The
officers confiscated Falun Dafa books, a DVD player, a photocopier, and other
items. On April 10, the officers returned to force Mr. Zhao's family to sign the
paperwork. 62. [Baoding City, Hebei Province] On the Afternoon of April 24, 2007,
Practitioner Ms. Yu Ruimin Taken into Custody by the Police; Her Home Searched 63. [Zibo City, Shandong Province] Practitioner Ms. Yuan Xiuqin Taken into
Custody by Officers of Shuanggou Police Station Ms. Yuan Xiuqin, a practitioner from Zhaowa Village in Yangzhai Town, Zichuan
District, Zibo City, was taken into custody by officers of the Shuanggou Police
Station at noon on April 18. Ms. Yuan is being held at the Wangzhuang Detention
Center. 64. [Longquan City, Zhejiang Province] Practitioner Ms. Ye Liqin Taken into
Custody by 610 Office Agents Practitioner Ms. Ye Liqin was again taken into custody by agents of the
Longquan City 610 Office. At 9:30 p.m. on April 19, she was taken to the

Practitioner Mr. Gu Jun On June 16, 2006, Mr. Gu Jun was taken into custody by agents of the 610
Office of Tianshan District Police Department in Urumqi City while she was at
work. Ms. Xu Aifang and Mr. Wang Lifeng were also arrested by the same
organization. It has been learned that Mr. Gu Jun was brutally tortured in

Taken into Police Custody Mr. Wang Hechu, a practitioner in Jiujiang City, was working at the office of
his company on the afternoon of April 22. Several police officers suddenly broke
in. The police took Mr. Wang away and confiscated a computer. Mr. Wang's
whereabouts are unknown. His wife, who is also a practitioner, is pregnant. 67. [Shenzhen City, Guangdong Province] Practitioners Ms. Ye Fengxia, Mr. Guo
Xiongbin, and Ms. Zhang Yingfu Held at Baoan District Detention Center Baoan District Detention Center: 86-755-89913372 68. [Qinzhou City, Guangxi Autonomous Region] Practitioner Ms. Fu Lanying
Again Taken into Custody by 610 Office Agents Ms. Fu Lanying, 42, who graduated with a college degree, is a practitioner
from Qinzhou City, Guangxi Autonomous Region. She was sentenced to two years of
forced labor for going to Beijing to appeal on behalf of Falun Gong. In
September 2006, she was taken to a brainwashing center by the Qinnan District
Political and Judiciary Committee. On April 25, 2007, she was again taken away
by the State Security Division of the Qinnan Police Department. Ms. Fu's

86-777-2824202 69. [Huangmei County, Hubei Province] Practitioners Ms. Dong Taohua and Mr.
Zhang Cili Injured While Chased by Police On the evening of April 24, 2007, practitioners Ms. Dong Taohua and Mr. Zhang
Cili from Fenlu Township were turned in to the police while they were painting
large truth-clarifying signs in Xinkai Town. Officers at the Xinkai Town Police
Station chased them. Ms. Dong fell down, and her head began to bleed. Mr. Zhang
broke his leg and was taken to the fourth floor of the Huangmei County People's
Hospital. The hospital charged him 7,000 yuan for just two days. His family
tried to transfer him to a different hospital. However, the police and hospital
authorities rejected the request. 70. [Chongqing] Practitioner Ms. Gao Yunxia Taken into Custody Ms. Gao Yunxia is a practitioner from Changshou District. On April 25, she
went to the Shijicheng Residential Buildings in Changshou District to distribute
truth-clarifying materials. Security guards saw her via security cameras and
alerted the police. Officers at the Duzhou Police Station subsequently took her
into custody. It is likely that Ms. Gao is being held at the Duzhou Detention
Center. The police searched her home and did not find any Falun Dafa books or
materials. However, they took 5,000 yuan in cash that Ms. Gao's family and
relatives had pooled together to pay for her son's college education. 71. [Changde City, Hunan Province] Practitioner Ms. Chen Huiying, Currently
Held at the No. 2 Detention Center, Faces Trial by Changde City 610 Office and
State Security Department 72. [Miyi County, Sichuan Province] Latest Information on Practitioners Ms.
Zhang Hongying, Ms. Zhang Jiashuang, and Ms. Lu Tao Since November 2006, practitioners Ms. Zhang Hongying, Ms. Zhang Jiashuang,
and Ms. Lu Tao from Miyi County have been detained. The Miyi County Court plans
to put them on trial in early May. Criminal Division of the Miyi County Court in charge of this case:
86-812-8171749 (1) The detainee is locked up in a very small cell individually. The guards
handcuff practitioners on their backs in a fixed position, in which the
practitioners can neither move nor lie down. The small cell is very damp and no
sunshine comes in. Detainees have to urinate and defecate in the cell. Only half
of a regular meal is served to detainees locked up in a small cell during the
daytime. During the night, the rats are running around. The stench in the small
