By a Falun Dafa practitioner in China

(Clearwisdom.net) This is a true story my friend told me. He went to visit the patient Mei (alias) almost daily.

Mei had been in the hospital for more than ten months. The diagnosis was lymph cancer, one of the three kinds of lymph cancers that is most vicious. Three provincial level hospitals had confirmed by chemical examination that it was a malignant tumor.

Originally, Mei planned to have four courses of chemotherapy. But after three courses of treatment the blood test looked dismal, with many immune functions registering near zero. The patient's health deteriorated and she hovered close to death. The three-centimeter tumor that had metastasized to the brain had not shrunk. Doctors did not dare to continue chemotherapy and canceled the fourth course of treatments. They used expensive imported medicine, but it seemed no medicine could possibly stop the cancer. Since her initial hospitalization, the treatment costs had reached 200,000 yuan. The family members pleaded with the doctor to try to find a solution, but the doctor replied, "Six months is the best possible outlook; at most one year."

The family members took the MRI photo and other examination results to another hospital and consulted a knowledgeable tumor expert to provide a diagnosis. The result was the same: This disease cannot be cured in any hospital in this province. The physician in charge said that electrotherapy could maintain her life for some time, but not to expect a big change. However, the family members wanted to give it a try.

This friend felt so sad for Mei, "Such a kind person; so young, how could she die? The experts' conclusion is that no one can help. You should believe in science." (In this friend's mind, without a doubt, Mei was doomed, and they should start the funeral preparations. Right then I met this friend of Mei's and told him about the tremendous healing effects of Falun Gong. He could not accept it. He said, "Do not tell me about Falun Gong. I believed in Science. You expect me to believe that after practicing Falun Gong, one can avoid death?"

After sharing many examples of people having been cured when they practiced Falun Gong and he still did not believe me, I persuaded him this way, "It doesn't matter. Just have the patient recite 'Falun Dafa is good,' 'Truthfulness, Compassion and Forbearance is good.' You don't need to spend a cent. There is nothing to lose. It is easy and simple. Try it! Of course, you have to recite with a sincere heart to get good results." This friend still did not believe me. However, in a situation like that, it was the only choice left. So he agreed to pass my words to Mei and let her decide for herself. Then I told him to tell her family members to sincerely recite, "Falun Dafa is good" to get a better result. He agreed to that, too.

This friend told me that after one or two days he passed the word to Mei, to recite the phrases. Mei initially had some doubt: "Aren't TV programs saying things against Falun Gong?" Her family members urged her not to think too much. She agreed immediately. Afterwards, this friend wrote, "Falun Dafa is good", "Truthfulness, Compassion and Forbearance is good" on a piece of paper and let Mei sincerely and repeatedly read it. To Mei's surprise she slept well that night. Since then, she never again had nightmares. Her mental and physical strength improved. Mei said that for a long time she could not sleep well. Whenever she went to sleep there were some known or unknown beings coming to scare her and threaten her, preventing her from sleeping well. Mei said gratefully, "Reading these few words had a tremendous effect. This (Falun Gong) Master is really great!"

Because the tumor had metastasized to the brain she had some eye and head symptoms. Mei felt dizzy, had headaches and blurry eyesight. Mei said when she felt uncomfortable she would close her eyes and recite the verses for several minutes; then her vision would become clear and her head was comfortable. Medicine could not achieve any of these results before. She felt very comfortable, and considered it a miracle for reciting the words. She asked, "What else do I need to do to get further help?" The fourth day after beginning to recite, "Falun Dafa is good" she got the book Zhuan Falun. In the following twenty days she read the book three times and liked it very much. She said, "This book teaches how to be genuinely good and kind."

After two weeks of reading the book Mei's health had improved significantly. She became more energetic. She no longer looked as dispirited after chemotherapy like before, when she had to lean on her husband's shoulder to cross the street. Now she even held an umbrella for her husband. She was totally changed. This friend witnessed her change in person. After two weeks of reading the book, Mei had a routine blood test, and all results turned out normal! This made Mei and her family members so happy! Mei then immediately declared to her family members, "I will practice Falun Gong." This friend said that Mei proposed this on her own initiative. She wanted to learn and practice and asked for my help.

The persecution of Dafa practitioners is still going on. However, people are awakening and know in their hearts and minds that Dafa is good. It is so fortunate to get on the path of cultivation at this time! Thus, this friend made an appointment with a Dafa practitioner for Mei on the same day that she proposed to study. They went to a place close to the hospital, and Mei learned quickly. Mei turned her misfortune into a blessing. Now she keeps practicing and studying the Fa every day. She has started her new life.

Mei had been in the hospital for almost one year, suffered tremendously, and it was very costly. She was diagnosed as incurable and waiting for death. No one expected that all her blood tests would show normal results after she recited "Falun Dafa is good" and read Zhuan Falun. After eight days she was out of hospital. It took only a bit longer than 30 days before she completely recovered. She could even go out to the park and go hiking. Mei repeatedly said, "Why didn't I know about Falun Gong earlier? Why did I not learn it earlier?"

After being out of the hospital for more than a month, the doctor re-examined her with an MRI, blood tests and liver function exam; all showed the result were fine and she didn't need any medicine. In addition, the doctors began to doubt whether the original diagnosis of a malignant tumor was wrong; that maybe it was benign. This friend teased, "How could these doctors know that Mei practiced Falun Gong? They had no explanation for things like this."

This friend added that, "Mei's incident is a true miracle. This should be acknowledged."

Worthy of mention is my friend's observation of Mei's reaction and change during the first several days when she had started to recite "Falun Dafa is good." He also recited "Falun Dafa is good" along the way and experienced some interesting things. Following that he also read Zhuan Falun two or three times.

This is a true story of a miracle that happened recently. I hope to read Mei's own experience and understanding articles, to further convince people that Falun Gong is a superior, authentic science. Falun Gong is an unsurpassed method of saving sentiment beings.
