Personnel from the Zibo City Police Department arrested several Falun Gong practitioners after arresting a practitioner couple who came to work in Qidu Town on February 2, 2007.

Practitioner Ms. Zhou Meiyu, in her 50s, is a retired employee of the Luhua Chemical Factory in the Qilu Oil & Chemical Engineering Company. Police arrested her on April 25, 2007 because she distributed truth-clarifying materials. She is still being held.

Zhou Meiyu's husband suffers from cancer and needs Zhou Meiyu's care.

Police arrested four practitioners from Xincheng Town, Shahe City on May 2, 2007. They were Mr. Shen Zhensheng, Ms. Yao Shufang and two other women practitioners. The arrest happened when they were clarifying the facts about Falun Gong to people in Wu'an City. The practitioners are being held at the city's detention center.

Zhang Lihua, Wu'an City National Security Team chief, participated in the arrest. His phone numbers are: 86-13931066836 (cell), 86-310-5610822 (Office)

Personnel from the Tieren Police Station collaborated with personnel from the community. They arrested 70-year-old practitioner Ms. Hong Baiying, who lives on Tuanjie Road the morning of April 25, 2007. They confiscated a printer, a computer and some other possessions. Hong Baiying is presently being held at the Daqing City Detention Center.

Personnel from the Xiangyang Police Station affiliated with the Aimin District Police Department, Mudanjiang City, have been harassing Falun Gong practitioners and their family members since July 20, 1999. Practitioner Ms. Tuo Yuxia, a teacher from the Beifang Middle School, and her family was forced to separate. They decided to leave their home and live in exile to avoid being persecuted further.

6. [Beijing] Supplemental Information Regarding the Arrest of Practitioners Liu Yonghui, His Wife Zhai Huiling and His Mother Yang Tiezhen

1) During the arrest, police didn't show any ID or present any reason. They were all in plain clothes.
2) While police arrested practitioner Mr. Liu Yonghui, his wife Ms. Zhai Huiling defied police. However, police handcuffed Ms. Zhai's hands behind her back and beat her down to ground. They then pulled her from the third floor to the ground floor.
3) When police arrested Mr. Liu's mother, practitioner Ms. Yang Tiezhen, on April 26, 2007, Ms. Yang's 2-year-old granddaughter cried for Ms. Yang. Even one of the arresting officers shed tears. Police arrested the girl's grandmother, father and mother. They left only the little girl at home.
4) Mr. Liu is being held at a detention center, and Ms. Yang Tiezhen is being held at a brainwashing center.

7. [Jiutai City, Jilin Province] Practitioner Sun Wenrong Arrested

Officers from the Jiutai City's Nanshan Police Station and from the city's "610 Office" arrested practitioner Ms. Sun Wenrong the evening of May 4, 2007 at her home. Ms. Sun Wenrong's husband, a late stage cancer patient, is in need of care.

8. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Practitioner Dai Shangling Arrested and Practitioner Zhao Fangqin's Home Ransacked

A few officers from the Dongzhan Police Station and Erdao Police Department broke into Ms. Dai Shangling's home on April 29, 2007. They ransacked her home and took Ms. Dai to the Dongzhan Police Station. Later on, they sent her to the Weizigou Detention Center on April 30, 2007.

They also broke into practitioner Ms. Zhao Fangqin's home at 11:00 p.m. on that same day. They woke up the family and claimed to have searched three practitioners' homes that day.

9. [Antu County, Jilin Province] Several Practitioners Arrested

Officers from the National Security Team at the Antu County Police Department and from the county's Songjiang Police Station arrested practitioners Ms. Zhu Yazhen, Ms. Zhu Yaxian, Ms. Zhu Yaping, Mr. Li Leyou from Erdaobaihe Village and practitioner Mr. Yang Jianhua from Sandao Village. The arrests happened in their homes at 5:00 p.m. on April 20, 2007.

10. [Fusong County, Jilin Province] Practitioner Li Zongyun Facing Further Persecution

After the Chinese authorities started to persecute Falun Gong, practitioner Mr. Li Zongyun from the Puchunhe District, Fusong County, Jilin Province had to live in exile to avoid arrest and persecution. He could not take care of his aged parents and his young child. Police arrested and sentenced him in 2004. They put him into the Siping City's Shiling Prison. Mr. Li was scheduled to be released on May 27, 2007, but personnel from the Fusong County Police Department and from the county's "610 Office" intend to transfer him from the prison to the local police department for further persecution.

Practitioner Mr. Yin Jun from Fusong County, who is being held at Jilin Province's Heizuizi Prison, is scheduled to be released on June 9, 2007.

11. [Daqing City, Heilongjiang Province] Supplemental Information Regarding the Arrest of Practitioners Si Baosheng and Li Chunying

Police arrested practitioners Mr. Si Baosheng and Ms. Li Chunying from Daqing City. Policeman Shao Guozhi from the Security Team of the Honggang District Police Department is in charge of the cases. Policeman Guo, police department chief Sun Huacheng, Wang Deyi from the "610 Office" and Political and Judiciary Committee chief Liang Jin participated in the arrests.

12. [Jinzhou City, Liaoning Province] Practitioner Zhao Erxun Sentenced to Two Years of Forced Labor

Practitioner Mr. Zhao Erxun from the Majiaxiao District, Jinzhou City was sentenced to two years of forced labor, to be served at the city's forced labor camp starting on April 30, 2007.

Practitioner Ms. Zhou Meihua's family in Dalian City went to the Masanjia Forced Labor Camp to visit her, but police told them that if they did not sign a statement to give up Falun Gong, their visits would be forbidden. Ms. Zhou's family reasoned with police and eventually met with her. They found Ms. Zhou's hands red and swollen. Ms. Zhou is presently being held at the No.1 Team in the No.3 Division there.

Personnel from the Wanshou Street Police Precinct arrested practitioner Ms. An Yurong at 3:00 p.m. on May 2, 2007. The arrest happened when Ms. An was distributing truth-clarifying materials near Wanshou Street. Police then ransacked her home. Ms. An is presently being held at the Haidian District's Qinghe Detention Center.

Police from the Xiaohaidi Area in the Hexi District arrested practitioner Mr. Di Jinduo at the end of April 2007, when he was distributing truth-clarifying materials. Police attempted to force him to give up Falun Gong, but failed. Police have sent him to an undisclosed location.

Practitioner Ms. Xu Zhiqiang, in his 50s, lives at the Piping Bureau Residential Dorm at No. 513 Huanghesan Street, Binzhou City, Shandong Province. He began to practice Falun Gong in 1997.

Personnel from the Binzhou City Police Department arrested him at the Piping Bureau Residential Dorm the morning of July 20, 1999. Four people from his work place and four policemen monitored him every day for five days and then held him at the Shizhong Police Station for more than a month.

Personnel from the city's police department and from the Shixi Police Station harassed him during the Communist Party's Two Conferences in March 2000. Police attempted to arrest him, but Mr. Xu became aware of their intent and asked for a leave of absence to visit his parents in Langfang City. Police feared he would go to appeal in Beijing. The police officials divided officers into three groups and sent them to Beijing, Bazhou City and Langfang City to try to arrest him. They eventually succeeded and put him into the Piping Bureau Residential Dorm for a month. They also forced his family to pay them 2,000 Yuan as an "accommodation fee."

Personnel from the city's Shixi Police Station duped Mr. Xu into coming to the police station and arrested him on July 20, 2000. Mr. Xu reasoned with police and clarified the facts about Falun Gong to police station chief Zhang Haibin. They held him for a month. Later on, they extended his detention by two weeks, but Mr. Xu went on a hunger strike in protest and was eventually released four days later.

Mr. Xu and another practitioner went to Beijing to appeal on behalf of Falun Gong in the middle of November 2000. Personnel from the Beijing Tiananmen Police Station arrested him and was about to transfer him to the Binzhou City. He successfully escaped, but he could not go back to work, because his work unit fired him. Personnel from the city's Shixi Police Station canceled his household registration and deprived him of his rights as a citizen. He is presently living in exile and cannot see his family.

Practitioner Mr. Wang Mingcai, 59 years old, is from Xizhong Village, Honghua Village, Tancheng County, Shandong Province. He was reported when playing a Falun Gong video-disc at a photocopy store in Zangyu Village, Xinyi City, Jiangsu Province the afternoon of April 2, 2007. Personnel from the Xinbei Police Station broke into his home and ransacked the place. They confiscated some Dafa books, Falun Dafa lecture tapes, some truth-clarifying materials and a VCD player. Mr. Wang's relatives went to the city's Hedong Detention Center to visit him, but their requests were denied.

Wang Mingcai's family consists of five members. Two daughters are married. Mr. Wang's wife is mentally ill. Personnel from the Xinyi City Chengguan Police Station arrested his 27-year-old son, Mr. Wang Liang, from his home on November 10, 2003 because he put up posters exposing the persecution. The persecutors sentenced Mr. Wang Liang to seven years of imprisonment. Three other practitioners were also arrested and sentenced at the same time: Mr. Du Shaoguang (eight years of imprisonment), Mr. Xie Zhaoyuan (seven years of imprisonment) from Xizhong Village, Honghua Township, and practitioner Mr. Ding Chuangao (nine years of imprisonment) from Zhong Village, Honghua Township. They are presently being held at the Hongzehu Prison.

Personnel from the Zhejiang Province "610 Office" secretly arrested several practitioners from Yuhuan County, Wenling City on April 10, 2007. Five of them are Mr. Gan Ping, Xiao Bing, Ms. Wang Lijun, Mr. Guo Xiaobo, and Xiao Lin. Several materials-production centers were destroyed, and equipment worth 10,000 Yuan was confiscated.

Personnel from the Wugong County Police Department arrested practitioner Mr. Wang Pingchuang from Wugong County, Shannxi Province at 7:00 p.m. on May 2, 2007.

Mr. Lei Guoting worked for the Baiyun District Political and Judiciary Committee in Guiyang City. Because he exposed the persecution, he was sent to the city's Zhongba Farm for two years of forced labor in March 2005. He was released in March this year. However, his work unit officials immediately sent him to the Lannigou Brainwashing Center for further persecution because he decided to continue to practice Falun Gong.
