Falun Dafa Purifies Both Mind and Body

(Clearwisdom.net) I began Falun Dafa cultivation in September 1997. There are no words to express my gratitude to Teacher. I can only say, "Falun Dafa is good! Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance is good!"

If someone were to ask me, "What have you gotten from your Teacher for all the years you've cultivated?" My answer would be very simple: Purification.

Purification of Mind

Before I began practicing Falun Dafa I was in charge of a finance department, with the authority to approve or disapprove expenditures. The position I hold in my organization is very near the top. My authority in this position is quite substantial. I'm called on to deal with banks, finance departments, taxation offices, commercial pricing agencies and many other important departments and offices. Especially in developing construction, I'm in a crucial position, and many important individuals, including purchasing agents, contractors, developers, heads of labor organizations, and material suppliers, all seek my attention. It was in this environment that Falun Dafa saved me. If I hadn't practiced Falun Gong I would have become a parasite to society.

After I read the book Zhuan Falun I came to understand the reason for being human, and I learned how to be a good person. One must be sincere and honest, and also kind hearted enough to be forbearing and lenient while in the environment of profits and money. After I became a practitioner I strictly required myself to abide by the principles of Falun Dafa. I refused to accept gifts and money. I returned the gifts I had accepted, or I paid for them. When it was impossible to do this I donated the money to organizations that provide assistance to needy students. My superiors and colleagues were greatly moved and affected by these changes, and this enabled them to have a positive understanding of Falun Dafa.

In 2005 and 2006, I took part in general examinations of the citywide financial state. During the process I politely refused the cigarettes and alcohol they offered me and paid my own living expenses. When they asked me why, I told them that I practice Falun Gong, and explained the facts of the persecution, helping them to have a new understanding of Falun Dafa.

Purification of Body

As you know, under normal circumstances non-practitioners often suffer health problems, and I was no exception. I had an ulcer, high blood pressure, shoulder pain, and sleeping problems. My ulcer was very burdensome. I couldn't eat food that was too hot or too cold or difficult to digest. I could only eat porridge, and I had to take a pill before every meal.

After practicing Falun Gong for only a month, all of my illnesses disappeared. Now I realize that all the sickness karma came from doing bad things. As a Falun Dafa practitioner, my decision not to acknowledge "sickness" returned me to the state of a healthy and strong person. Teacher cleansed my body and purified me internally for about a week. My face now looks smooth and rosy.

In talking about what Teacher has given me, as far as I am concerned, on the surface I'm not only completely cured, healthy, honest, peaceful and benevolent, but I also have more wisdom. I've gained so much. I'm gradually coming to understand the truth about human life and the secrets of the universe. At the same time I'm having a huge impact on those around me.
