Illness and Medicine

(Clearwisdom.net) In China, lots of married couples suffer from infertility. It is my understanding that this is caused by their karma. One of my friends says that if a woman wants to give birth to twins, it is a good idea to take fertility drugs that accelerate ovulation. It seems that drug use is omnipresent. Nowadays it seems that more than half of the advertising on television is drug related. Most of the topics that my neighbors talk about every day have to do with drugs. Drugstores outnumber grocery stores. It seems that drugs have become absolutely necessary for contemporary people.

The CCP regime has smeared Falun Gong again and again for "forbidding its practitioners to see doctors when they are ill." Although this is not true, people poisoned by CCP culture still believe it. As a matter of fact, Falun Gong never forbids its practitioners to see doctors. On the contrary, it says in the published books that one should go to see a doctor immediately. However, the CCP regime has destroyed all of the Falun Gong books on the market in an attempt to cover up the truth.

Mr. Li Hongzhi, the founder of Falun Gong, has never asked us not to take any pills. He has only told us that the ultimate cause of one's illnesses and misfortunes is karma that we incurred in previous lives. This coincides with the current phenomena in China. Under the influence of CCP culture, Chinese people have committed all kind of crimes, and they have most definitely accumulated huge amounts of karma, so it is not surprising that they have to rely on taking drugs.

As for the genuine Falun Gong practitioners who improve their character according to the standard of "Truthfulness, Compassion, Tolerance," theirs bodies will be gradually purified. As Chinese traditional philosophy put it: "Heaven-human oneness." A pure body has very few chances to get ill. What use would the drugs have then?

Actually, there are a lot of Falun Gong practitioners who have never taken a single pill for over a decade. I used to know dozens of people like that but have lost contact with most of them due to the persecution. Through practicing Falun Gong, I have found that genuine cultivation is much more effective and helpful than taking drugs to cure illnesses.
