(Clearwisdom.net) I find that the posture of many fellow practitioners while studying the Fa is not quite solemn enough. Instead of sitting upright or in the lotus position, many are reclining, leaning to the side, or even getting close to lying down. In a normal social setting, depending on the situation, it may not be appropriate posture, much less when we are studying the Fa.
The group Fa-study environment is a very solemn one, and we should treat it as such. My personal understanding is that if our mindset is right, our posture will follow. Only when we study the Fa solemnly and seriously, will the Fa's inner meanings be revealed to us and thus enable us to improve in our cultivation.
