Bosnia and Herzegovina's State Television Station Airs a Forty Minute Interview with a Falun Gong Practitioner (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net) On May 9, shortly before practitioners' activities for World Falun Dafa Day, Bosnia's state-owned television station, FTV (Foederale TV), aired a forty minute interview with Igor Jancev, a practitioner from Bosnia and Herzegovina, who is the representative for the Bosnian Falun Dafa Information Centre.

The Falun Gong practitioners were contacted and invited to take part in a live broadcast that was devoted exclusively to the subject of Falun Gong on May 9 2007, by the editors of the "Centralni zatvor" (Central Prison) broadcast. The live broadcast is generally an interview with one invited guest, and during the second part of the broadcast the audience has the opportunity to ask questions of the interviewee.

The broadcast began with a demonstration of the first Falun Gong exercise, which was accompanied by the exercise music. After that, the moderator welcomed the audience with the words, "Dear audience, if you were to do the exercises you just saw in China, you would be thrown into prison, a real prison."

During the broadcast, the audience had the opportunity to ask questions, receive answers, and hear a lot about the unprecedented eight year long brutal persecution in China. They were told that Falun Gong is a peaceful practice and based on the noble principles Truthfulness, Compassion and Tolerance. They were told that Falun Gong is taught free of charge and that one could find all information about Falun Gong on the Internet.

At the same time they were told that the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) brutally and mercilessly persecutes Falun Gong practitioners in China. They heard about the hundreds of thousands of practitioners who are detained in labor camps and prisons, and who did not have the right of representation by an attorney. They were especially informed about last year's discovery that in China, the organs of ten of thousands of Falun Gong practitioners have been systematically removed and then sold for a profit. This fact even horrified and shocked the moderator deeply.

The moderator also announced the coming events in Sarajevo and invited the audience to visit these events, so they could hear more about Falun Gong. At the same time he announced the class the practitioners were going to hold that weekend and that it was free of charge.

One person who called in during the broadcast said that she was very interested in learning Falun Gong and asked if even older people could practice Falun Gong. Mr. Jancev responded that anyone of any age could practice. The individual only needed to hold the wish to cultivate in his/her heart. One lady in the audience asked if Mr. Jancev could once more show one of the exercises and the moderator arranged for the broadcast to end as it had begun with the demonstration of the first exercise and the accompanying exercise music.
