Practitioners Zuo Li and Li Lin Detained in Xi'an Women's Prison; Their Lives are in Danger

(Clearwisdom.net) Falun Dafa practitioners Ms. Li Lin and Ms. Zuo Li are from Chenggu County, Shaanxi Province. Ms. Li is 39 years old and is a teacher in a technical secondary school in Chenggu County. Ms. Zuo is 40 years old. In February 2004, the two practitioners were passing out truth-clarification fliers on the street and were illegally arrested. They were taken to the Chenggu County Detention Center and handcuffed to the metal window for 24 hours by guards Yuan Yu and Zhang Zhigang. The two practitioners resisted the persecution by going on a hunger strike. They were force-fed, which resulted in injury to their esophagus. They were both given a heavy sentence by the Chenggu Police Department: Ms. Zuo was sentenced to five years and six months, and Ms. Li was sentenced to six years. They are imprisoned in the Xi'an Women's Prison where they are tortured. Even though their lives are in critical condition, the prison guards continue to torture them.

The followings are other Falun Dafa practitioners in the area who are under persecution:

Mr. Bai Yanrong, 38, worked in the Chenggu County Business Building. In 2002, he was passing out truth-clarification materials and was arrested. He was put in the Chenggu County Detention Center, and as a result of the inhuman torture, he became extremely weak. He was finally released on "bail" for medical treatment, but it was too late. He passed away at the end of January 2003.

Ms. Li Jinfeng, 53, is a farmer in Renyi Village, Bowang Town, Chenggu County. Since she firmly believes in Falun Dafa and clarifies the truth, she has been arrested and and detained in a forced labor camp several times. In June 2006, she was again arrested and sentenced to one year and three months in a forced labor camp. She is still detained in the Xi'an Women's Forced Labor Camp.

Ms. Zhang Fengzhu, 69, was reported for passing out truth-clarification fliers. In September 2005, she exposed what she had suffered on the Minghui website. The 610 Office thus had the court arrest Ms. Zhang once again and sentence her to three years in prison. She is still imprisoned in the Xi'an Women's Prison.

These police officers above have always followed the orders of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), and have brutally tortured Falun Dafa practitioners. They have even tortured elderly practitioners.
