Two Stories about People Finding Falun Dafa

Lifted from Hell Straight Up to Heaven

When I was young, I developed many bad habits. I drank, smoked, and gambled; there was nothing I wouldn't get involved in if I had a chance. Because I had no restraint on my actions, I acquired all sorts of illness by the time I was forty. Particularly, when my gastritis flared up, I had to spend up to one month fighting it. While I was sick, I could not even drink water. I also had insomnia and constantly vomited.

During the New Year this year, I suffered miserably with gastritis. One day, my younger brother came over and brought me a book. He said, "This book is much more effective than conventional medication or injections!" I asked, "What book is it that is so marvelous?" He replied, "Zhuan Falun." Since I thought my condition was hopeless, I decided to give it a try. I opened Zhuan Falun.

After a few minutes of reading, I felt movement in my chest followed by a warm current that slowly ran through my body. I never experienced such warmth and relaxation. I felt as if I was lifted from hell straight up to heaven, and all my pain went away!

This is miraculous! I shouted excitedly, "Falun Dafa is marvelous! I want to learn Falun Dafa!" From what I experienced personally, I truly understand the power of Dafa. From that point on, I walked the path of cultivation practice.

The Story of Two Middle School Students in Zhangjiakou

There are two middle school students from Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province, whose grades were lagging behind the rest of the class. One never paid attention to her studies, but was particular about clothes and fashion. The other student was very lazy; she did not do homework and she skipped classes that she did not like. Their families and teachers did not know what to do with these two young girls.

Later, one of them read some Falun Gong truth-clarification materials and came to understand the truth. After that, they both began reading Dafa books and followed the principles of "Truth, Compassion, and Forbearance." They began to study hard, and learned to balance their time effectively. Beside studying hard in their classes, they read Zhuan Falun and other Dafa books in their spare time and used any opportunity to clarify the truth to their classmates, schoolmates, families and friends, persuading them to withdraw from the Chinese Communist Party.

The change in them was almost like they were reborn. They saved their pocket money to help produce Dafa truth-clarification materials, and began to live simple and thrifty lives.

During their exams in 2006, they kept the thought, "Falun Dafa is good! Truth, Compassion and Forbearance are good!" in their minds and calmly took their exams. Both of their scores were at the top of the class and they moved up to the county's Best High School Advanced Class. Their families were very happy and exclaimed, "It is the power of Falun Dafa!"

This event caused a ripple effect among the teachers and students. The two new practitioners' positive changes verified the mighty power of Dafa. One student said, "I want to practice Falun Dafa and also get good scores."
