(Clearwisdom.net) On the afternoon of April 27, 2007, Falun Gong practitioners from Paris held an activity outside the Chinese Embassy to commemorate the eighth anniversary of the "April 25" Appeal. Practitioners protested against the eight-year brutal persecution of Falun Gong by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), and particularly against the CCP's atrocity of organ harvesting from living Falun Gong practitioners. They strongly called for the release of Ma Jian, a general manager with the French company PCM in China and northern Asia and also a Falun Gong practitioner. Ma Jian was taken away after being beaten by the police, and has been sentenced to labor camp for two and a half years.

Outside the Chinese Embassy, Falun Gong practitioners displayed banners that read, "The Evil CCP, Stop Persecuting Falun Gong," and "The CCP Harvests Organ from Living Falun Gong Practitioners." In addition, photo display boards and truth-clarification materials were set up to expose the CCP's atrocity.

Mr. Hu, a Falun Gong practitioner, said, "Since the CCP launched the persecution against Falun Gong in 1999, we have been holding activities at Paris' Human Rights Square every week to reveal the CCP's inhuman persecution of Falun Gong and to expose its evil crimes to the entire world. We will keep disclosing and resisting the persecution in a peaceful way until the end of the persecution."

An elderly French man had a long talk with Falun Gong practitioners. After learning the facts of the persecution, he made an impromptu speech through an amplifier. He said, "I believe everyone should have freedom. There should be no exception. Chinese people have such an ancient culture and a long history. It is unreasonable to exclude them from freedom. This kind of persecution of Falun Gong is a crime against humanity. I will try my utmost to inform more people of this horrible and brutal persecution."

Through an amplifier a Falun Gong practitioner exposed the CCP's evil crimes to the ambassador and staff in the Chinese Embassy and reminded them, "Heaven will eliminate the CCP. Quit the CCP and save your life." Hopefully, those who are still hesitant to withdraw from the CCP and its affiliated organizations will be awakened. A visitor from the US said, "Everyone should have the right to speak out. Such a totalitarian regime as the Chinese communist regime is doomed to destruction."

On April 25, 1999, over 10,000 Falun Gong practitioners headed for the National Appeals Office in Beijing to make a peaceful appeal for Falun Gong, which was already being suppressed in China. The international community was deeply impressed with the Falun Gong practitioners' rationality, confidence and self-discipline. This peaceful appeal marked the beginning of Falun Gong practitioners' large-scale, rational and peaceful protests against the persecution. On July 20, 1999, the Jiang and Luo regime launched a sudden and nationwide persecution against Falun Gong, employing all media to direct slanderous attacks against Falun Gong, and using the whole state mechanism to inflict unlawful brutal persecution upon Falun Gong practitioners.
