Sun Yanhe, Wang Hongyan and Others from Shulan, Jilin Province Illegally Arrested and Imprisoned in a Labor Camp

(Clearwisdom.net) Falun Dafa practitioners Sun Yanhe, Wang Hongyan, and others from Shulan City, Jilin Province were imprisoned by police at Pin An Police Station on March 3, 2007. Seven police officers, including Shao Tianfeng, Li Ye, Gao Yuguang, Wang Da, Gu Changyu (the driver), and others from Pin An Police Station illegally arrested Falun Dafa practitioners. The police refused to listen to their explanations. Instead, they brutally beat and robbed the Falun Dafa practitioners. Sun Yanhe suffered trauma to his ear from the blows. The Dafa practitioners were then arrested and forced into a police car.

After Sun Yanhe and the others were brought to Pin An Police Station, the police did a body search and stole their money and keys. Police also ransacked their homes. Police officers Li Ye and Gao Yuguang from Pin An Police Station and Zhang and Li from Guo Bao Brigade of Shulan City also broke into Dafa practitioners' homes and stole their money and belongings. They stole several thousand yuan.

At Pin An Police Station, police chief Wang Liguo ordered policeman Wang Da to extract a confession from the Dafa practitioners. Wang Da locked them in the Household Register Office and beat them. Wang Da hit them in the face and dragged them by their hair, subsequently pulling out whole tufts of hair, then kicked their lower bodies, abdomens, and heads, until they could no longer stand upright. He then tightly handcuffed them and dragged them down the police station hallway. Policeman Wang Da noticed that the Falun Dafa practitioners wouldn't disclose any information. He then used one ring of the handcuff to handcuff them to the top of the beds--hanging them by one hand and lifting them so high that their feet could not touch the floor. By that time, it was three in the morning. Wang Da tortured them for five to six hours that night.

Dafa practitioners Sun Yanhe, Wang Hongyan, and others were illegally arrested and taken to the police bureau the next day. Police Wang Da and Shao Tianfeng, and another staff member from the police bureau (responsible for taking pictures, and so forth) forced the practitioners to have their picture taken, and to submit finger prints. Then, the police imprisoned them at Nan Shan Lockup. Several days later, Gao Yuguang and other officer from Pin An Police Station questioned the practitioners at the lockup.

In less than a month, the Chinese Communist Party illegally sentenced Sun Yanhe, Wang Hongyan and others to a labor camp. Both Sun Yanhe and Wang Hongyan were sentenced for 18 months. Wang Hongyan's mother was sentenced for one year. Wang Hongyan's mother came to take care of the child, but she was arrested as well and sent to forced labor camp to meet the police quota.
