If We Truly Deny the Old Forces with Every Thought, Then We Can Pass the Test of Life and Death

(Clearwisdom.net) Recently, thanks to my righteous faith in Teacher and in the Fa, I passed the great test of life and death by denying the old forces with every thought.

It started at 10:00 p.m. one night, when I was sending forth righteous thoughts. After about ten minutes of sending righteous thoughts, I suddenly felt very uncomfortable. As I got up and went to the bathroom, I started vomiting and had diarrhea. I couldn't even take in a sip of water. I knew this was the old forces trying to take advantage of my loopholes to persecute me. I sent force righteous thoughts to deny the old forces' persecution, while looking inside for my own shortcomings in my xinxing. But at that time, I didn't completely deny the old forces. The next day, I had a high fever that would not go away. On the third day, I felt extreme pain. Since the old forces wanted to persecute practitioners, it would certainly make them feel so much pain that they would rather die. As soon as I had the thought of dying, I realized that it wasn't right. I must not die. At that moment, the old forces couldn't wait and kept telling me, "You are for sure dying." I immediately denied it and said I must not die. I must be able to survive this. The old forces continued to tell me, "You are for sure dying." It repeated this four times, and I denied it four times. That was truly a battle between righteous and evil forces. If I didn't immediately deny it, or if I quietly accepted it, my life would be over. I thought, "I am a Fa-rectification period Dafa disciple. I am here to assist Teacher in Fa-rectification and rescue sentient beings. I have not yet accomplished the historic mission bestowed by Dafa. I absolutely will not allow the old forces to take advantage of the loopholes in my xinxing and look for excuses to persecute me. They don't deserve it." I also asked Teacher to strengthen me. On the fourth day, I began to feel better. With the compassionate care of Teacher, my body returned to normal on the fifth day.

Having passed this test of life and death, I came to understand another issue. There are many fellow practitioners who were severely persecuted by police under the control of the old forces. Many of these practitioners did not die immediately after they were released from prison on medical parole. Some of them passed away within a few months, some one year, and some a few years. Although they were released, the old forces had not really let up the persecution against them. The old forces gave them the thought that they were suffering too much, and that they didn't want to live anymore. As soon as they had that thought, the old forces could take them away. However, if they could remember that they were Fa-rectification period Dafa disciples and were here to assist Teacher in the Fa-rectification, they would absolutely deny the old forces' persecution. The old forces are not worthy of persecuting Dafa disciples. We should ask for Teacher's help. As soon as our righteous thoughts emerge, dare the old force persecute us? Teacher won't let the them do that, either.

We have made a vow with Teacher to follow him to the human world for the Fa-rectification and to save sentient beings. We must fulfill this vow we made before history. On the other hand, we may have also made promises to the old forces at different levels. No matter what promises I made with the old forces, right now, before Teacher and all the gods in the universe, I solemnly declare that all promises I made with the old forces are voided. I will steadfastly walk the path of cultivation arranged by Teacher, cultivate myself well, and do well the three things Teacher asked. I will assist Teacher in the Fa-rectification, save more sentient beings, and fulfill my great wish made before history, so as to be worthy of Teacher's compassionate salvation.
