Ms. Jiang Hong in Heilongjiang Province Released from Unlawful Detention Only When Her Life Was in Danger (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net) On April 29, 2007, Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Jiang Hong was visiting her neighbor when policemen led by Xing Guili, along with Political Security Office Head Zhou Tiegong (male) arrested her. Ms. Jiang Hong lives in Tangyuan County, Heilongjiang Province. Her family went to the police department to request her release, but her father (in his 70s) was chased out by Zhou Tiegang.

After being detained for 35 days, Ms. Jiang Hong became dangerously emaciated. She had to be placed under intensive care constantly, and she was dying because she could not eat for ten days.

The detention center authorities were afraid of being held responsible for her death, so they requested her release. However, Police Department Chief Wang Min'gui (male) and Zhou Tiegang refused to release her. Only when the detention center authorities absolutely refuse to keep her, was she finally released and sent home.
