Handling Our Missions and Jobs Appropriately

(Clearwisdom.net) Cultivation is not a job, as our Master had told us repeatedly in the Fa lectures and articles from earlier. Cultivation is in fact cultivating our minds, which means removing all of our attachments in all kinds of environments. Our jobs in human society have thus provided us with a place to earn our livings, establish relationships with sentient beings and clarify the facts to them, in addition to practicing cultivation. Since every practitioner started his or her cultivation as an everyday person, it is inevitable that his or her thoughts occasionally will follow long-held thought patterns that do not measure up to the Fa's requirements. I am convinced that during the process of removing human thoughts, every practitioner has experienced frequent interference from human thoughts. If we have the proper mindset and perspective, taking Dafa's needs as the first priority, correcting every single thread of our thoughts, words and actions, while negating the old forces' arrangements and persecution, and recognizing our prehistoric vows to help Master to do Fa-rectification, then we will handle well our cultivation and perform our jobs appropriately.

As Dafa practitioners walking on the path toward godhood, our lives are about cultivation. We should thus look at the nature and essence of every person and matter we encounter from the standpoint of cultivation practice. We should understand that the arrangement and development of human history was to pave the way for Dafa. In other words, human society is one big environment for cultivation. Therefore, we will see that our cultivation is in fact a job of great significance, with profound impacts. Besides doing a job in ordinary society, we are doing much more. We are saving the cosmos' sentient beings, working alongside our benevolent and great Master, eliminating the damage and interference caused by the Communist specter and the old forces, establishing our mighty virtues, consummating our fruit statuses, and making our share of contributions to the new cosmos that our benevolent Master has created. Therefore, regarding personal cultivation, as long as we treat ourselves as practitioners and immerse ourselves in the Fa at every moment, there are no tests that we cannot pass and no difficulties that we cannot overcome.

There are times when I am not diligent enough, but as soon as I get up every morning, the first thing that clearly comes to my mind are matters concerning Dafa and cultivation. The first thing I do is the exercises and sending forth righteous thoughts. I feel that there is nothing more natural than doing the three things every day. When I do other things after that, I feel energetic and relaxed. Although Fa-rectification cultivation practice has come to the final stage, superficial human thoughts will pop up or manifest themselves from time to time. Nevertheless, I regard the Fa as teacher and try my best to do well. I am removing all kinds of attachments and at the same time doing the three things well, so that I can become more diligent as it gets closer to the end.
