Mr. Zhang Quanliang Under "Strict Control" Monitoring in Yongchuan Prison

(Clearwisdom.net) Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Zhang Quanliang is being tortured in Yongchuan Prison in Chongqing City. When his family visited him, guard Chen Kun watched him closely. Mr. Zhang was very thin and told his family that his hearing was almost completely gone and his feet and legs were numb. Chen Kun said Mr. Zhang "misbehaved" and is under "strict control" monitoring.

Mr. Zhang's family sued Yuzhong District State Security Division for torturing him during an interrogation in June 2006. The agents have now informed guards in Yongchuan Prison to record every word said during his family visits. We suspect this is in order to frame Mr. Zhang further.

Mr. Zhang was an engineer employed by Chongqing City Coal Mine Design Institute. He was taken to Xishanping Labor Camp in January 2001. He never submitted to the brainwashing tactics during his three-year term. He walked out of the labor camp with dignity.

Mr. Zhang was secretly arrested again in December 2005 in Guanyinqiao Neighborhood, Jiangbei District, Chongqing City by agents from the State Security Bureau. They hung him up and brutally beat him for six whole days. They also blasted a loud speaker into his ears for several dozen hours to torture him.

On June 12, 2006, Chongqing City 610 Office agent Su Yizhao (male) ordered Yuzhong District Court to put Mr. Zhang on trial. On July 25, the court secretly sentenced Mr. Zhang to five years in prison without cause. Both his lawyer and family did not know about the sentence until the case secretly ended at the Chongqing City Fifth Middle Court in September 2006.

In October 2006, Mr. Zhang's mother, in her 70s, wore a T-shirt with statements on it and stood on the People's Square to speak out for her son. She was carried away by numerous policemen.

Mr. Zhang was transfered to Yongchuan Prison in November 2006. He was detained in the Second Ward. The guards directed prisoners in the cell to closely watch him by bribing them with reduced terms. These prisoners are very cruel. They tortured Mr. Zhang, deprived him the right to sleep, brutally beat him, forced him to go through brainwashing sessions, forced him to bend down, hit his back suddenly with their elbows, and forced him to sit on the icy floor in the winter for several days.
