(Clearwisdom.net) To promote tourism, the local government held an outdoor performance at the Sun Moon Lake on June 17, 2007. Falun Gong practitioners' Divine Land Marching Band, Waist Drum Troupe, Qiankun Drum Troupe and Flag Drum Troupe performed in the event and were warmly welcomed by the audience.

The Flag Drum Troupe performed first, and then the Divine Land Marching Band, which consists of more than 200 practitioners, played several songs. Mr. Liao Hsuehui, the mayor of Yuchi Town, Sun Moon Lake, said that Falun Gong purifies people's hearts and he hopes that Falun Gong will bring peace to society.

The Thao people are natives of Sun Moon Lake. The chief of the Thao People's Association, Mr. Shi Youren, praised Falun Gong practitioners' performance. He said: "From the performance of Falun Gong practitioners, we sensed the "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance" of cultivators.

After enjoying the performances, a couple from Kaohsiung told practitioners that they had heard about the persecution of Falun Gong in China and they would tell their friends about the organ harvesting and other facts regarding the persecution of Falun Gong.

An American tourist said that the practitioners' performances were wonderful. She learned how to say "Falun Dafa is good" and "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance" in Chinese.
