By a Practitioner in Hubei Province

(Clearwisdom.net) I learned Falun Dafa in October, 1996. It is the righteous thoughts of believing in Master and the Fa that helps me walk along this path. The following is my experience of clarifying the truth to people face-to-face.

I realized the importance of clarifying the truth to people face-to-face after Master published the article "Let Go of Human Attachments and Save the World's People" in 2004. I started going out and clarifying the truth to people with fellow practitioners from my practice site. I found that clarifying the truth face-to-face was somewhat difficult for me, but I overcame my hesitation once I thought of Master's saving us out of his compassion and the expectations of the world's people. As long as I made up my mind, all obstacles disappeared and the opportunities of clarifying the truth presented themselves.

My experience proved to me that once we do the work whole-heartedly, Master will arrange many opportunities for us. We have already formed the habit of clarifying the truth with others whenever we have the chance. Moreover, I think it is my responsibility to clarify the truth to people on the streets every day. In the beginning, my talk was not eloquent, and I knew I needed to improve it. So I copied in my own handwriting the articles of fellow practitioners' clarifying the truth on "Minghui Weekly" and read them several times before I went out to talk to people. On top of that, we worked together while talking to people. For example, we clarified the truth collaboratively to people who were having their breakfast, which brought great results.

After the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party was published, Master also published the article "Turning the Wheel Towards the Human World". We felt that our responsibility was heavier and that time is running out. I first studied the Nine Commentaries in order to clearly understand the nature of the evil party. Then I talked to my daughter, who was at the university, about withdrawing from the Chinese Communist Party's organizations. My daughter asked, "I am a member of the student union, does it count if I withdraw?" I said, "As long as you withdraw from them sincerely, it does not matter what you do and it has no effects on you because Master will be safeguarding you." Thus, my daughter withdrew from the CCP organizations. Her professor at the university suggested that she apply to be a CCP member, but she did not take the suggestion. Some of her classmates came to our home during holidays, and she assisted me in clarifying the truth to them. In the end, all her classmates who visited our home withdrew from the CCP organizations.

Master said,

"...with those people that you run into by chance, who you run into in daily life, and the people you run into at work, you should all clarify the truth to them. Even when in your daily life you pass by people so quickly that you don't have a chance to talk to them, you should still leave them with your compassion and kindness. Don't lose those who should be saved, especially those with predestined connections." ("Teaching the Fa at the 2003 Atlanta Fa Conference")

That is what we have been doing these past seven years. We have been saving people, while maintaining compassionate hearts in all conditions. When people smiled at us, we went to talk with them about the facts and withdrawing from the CCP organizations no matter if they were someone we knew or not. We walked through most streets in our district at that time to clarify the truth to people. Sometimes we didn't have lunch, other than a few steamed buns bought on the street, in order to save time to catch our group Fa study and send forth righteous thoughts. Although we were doing a lot at one time, we did not feel tired, but instead joyful.

We also shared with each other whenever we clarified the truth to a person in order to improve our way of talking to people. Actually, the process of clarifying the truth is part of the process of cultivation. While clarifying the truth, many attachments of ours came to the surface, so we saw them and tried to eliminate them. I think as long as every one of our Dafa practitioners tries his best to do the work, many sentient beings will be saved.

When I look back now at my cultivation path, I see the depressing times when I did not go through my trials well. However, with Master's merciful guarding, I have come this far and become more mature. I will continue cultivating diligently and being steadfast in believing in Master and the Fa, doing the three things well, and saving more sentient beings to fulfill our great prehistoric vows.
