Belief in the Goodness of Dafa Cures an Illness That Would Have Defied Treatment at the Best Medical Facilities in the World

(Clearwisdom.net) Due to a job change in the middle of March 2006, we decided to move to a new place, so we put our home on the market. A family of Korean ethnicity, including an older lady accompanied by two daughters, came to check out our home. After chatting with her daughters, the lady decided to buy our home, so I promised to move out at the end of June. One day in April, though, her son and daughter came to see me and requested that I move out earlier.

I was surprised. Her daughter explained, "My mother has late-stage terminal cancer. She has been lying in bed all day long without taking any food. As her bereaved son and daughter, we would like to see her move into a home she likes as soon as possible."

Feeling sorry for her, I said to them, "OK. Let me talk to my husband to see what we can do." Since our newly purchased home was still under construction, the only choice we had was to rent. Unfortunately we were unable to find an appropriate place to rent.

The lady's daughter came to me again and told me, "You don't have to rush to move any more. We are going to take our mother to Korea for treatment." I told them, "I'd like to advise you to ask your mother to sincerely recite silently 'Falun Dafa is good' and 'Truthfulness-Compassion- Forbearance is good.' This way a miracle could happen and your mom will most likely recover. I used to be very unhealthy and suffered various kinds of illnesses, including cerebral hemorrhage, high cholesterol, stomach disease, lumbar vertebra disease, blindness in one eye caused by angioneurotic edema, headaches, etc. I searched everywhere to find a good doctor to cure my illnesses. After spending a lot of money, my illnesses remained uncured. In the midst of this despair, though, I was I fortunate to learn Falun Dafa. In a little over two months, all of my severe illnesses disappeared mysteriously. It was Dafa that saved me and gave me a second life."

Then I clarified the truth about Falun Gong to them and told them about the "three withdrawals" (withdrawing from Chinese Communist Party, the Communist Young Pioneers and the Communist Youth League). In response, all six people in their family withdrew with their real names right away. A few days later, they went to Korea. The next day, the elderly lady was hospitalized and diagnosed with late stage lung cancer, with the cancer cells spreading four decimeters wide and her face already deformed. The doctor told her family that her illness was terminal and could not be cured. "Get ready for her funeral," the doctor said.

On the fourth day of her hospitalization, however, her son in China received a phone call from his mother. Surprised, he was wondering how in the world his mother was able to call him. Suspecting that it was the momentary recovery of consciousness just before death, he called his sister, who was supposed to be by their mother's bedside. His sister happily confirmed to him that their mother had suddenly recovered and that she was able to eat and take a walk outside. "The doctors stated that the cancer area had shrunk from four decimeters to two," she continued. On the eighth day, the lady called her son again and told him that she was completely alright.

Anxious to see what had happened, her son quickly applied for a passport and went to Korea. Indeed, his mother was fine. Shaking his head, the doctor exclaimed, "Unbelievable! Even with the best medical facilities and the best drugs in the world, such an illness could not be cured."

Witnessing the miraculous effect, the lady's son said, "I must tell people that it was my mother's belief in 'Falun Dafa is good' and 'Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good' that caused this miracle to happen to her. It was Falun Dafa that saved my mother's life." Now he, too, has started to practice Falun Gong and to read the Korean version of Zhuan Falun.
