(Clearwisdom.net) 1. [Wafangdian City, Liaoning Province] Police Officers from Xinhua Police
Station Song Beat Practitioner Ms. Song Changmei to the Point of Death On the night of May 27, 2007, practitioner Ms. Li Ying and Ms. Yu Chunbo were
out removing banners that had statements slandering Falun Gong and Teacher.
Hidden police officers surprised the practitioners and took them away to the
Xinhua Police Station in Wafangdian City where the two women were tortured for
the rest of the night. The next day, practitioners Mr. Ying Shifeng, Ms. Song
Changmei, and the families of Ms. Li Ying and Ms. Yu Chunbo rushed to the police
station requesting the release of the two already detained, but ended up
suffering from police torture, too. Mr. Ying Shifeng and Ms. Song Changmei were
illegally detained in the police station. More than 30 police officers took
turns beating Ms. Song for a whole day. She was hit with electric batons, her
hands were handcuffed behind her back, and then she was hung up by her cuffed
hands. She was dragged upstairs and downstairs by her hair several times, and
the police stomped on her head until she lost consciousness. Meanwhile, Mr. Ying
was also beaten severely. That night, Ms. Song was beaten to the point of death,
until her breathing and pulse were extremely weak. When the police sent her to a
hospital to be revived, the on-duty nurse could not even insert an IV
successfully. Fearing that they would be held responsible for her death, the
hospital authorities refused to admit her. The police officers sent Ms. Song to

(Cell) 2. [Dandong City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Wang Chunxiang Held a Hunger Strike
to Protest the Persecution At the end of November 2006, practitioner Ms. Wang Chunxiang was taken into
custody by the Dandong City Police Department and her home was searched. As a
result, the truth clarification material site that was in her home
was destroyed and Ms. Wang Chunxing was "illegally sentenced" to
prison for eight years. Although she was detained in the Baifang Detention
Center, she maintained her righteous thoughts and practiced the exercises as
usual. The police handcuffed her to the bed frame for 24 hours straight and
forced her to do hard labor. She held a hunger strike in protest of the
persecution. At the beginning of April 2007, the police sent Ms. Wang Chunxiang,
who was extremely weak, to Dabei Prison in Shenyang City. The prison authorities
refused to accept her. She was sent back to the local detention center that same
day. It is said that she is still on the hunger strike and her blood pressure is
very high. 3. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] The Persecution Practitioner Mr. Sha
Mingquan Suffered Mr. Sha Mingquan, 39, lives in the Zhongshan District, Dalian City. He
attained the Fa in 2004. On May 23, 2007, a police officer from the Hutan Police
Station knocked on Mr. Sha's door, requesting that he go to the police station.
Mr. Sha accompanied the officer to the station. Afterward, more than 10 police
officers from the Hutan Police Station and the Zhongshan Police Department
illegally searched Mr. Sha's home. They took a printer, computer, paper cutting
machine, and some Falun Dafa books. Mr. Sha's family went to the police station
seeking his release. The director, Jin Chaojun(male), said that Mr. Sha would be
held in custody for 10 days and then released, but the next day, Mr. Sha was
transferred to Ganjingzi Detention Center. There he saw his family once. After
that he was not allowed to see them again. On May 31, 2007, Mr. Sha called his
family and told them that he was transferred to somewhere in Fushun City; he did

Persecution Since practitioner Ms. Jiang Pai was illegally arrested on April
26, 2007, she has continued to be brutally persecuted. From April 26 to April
30, 2007, she was detained in an unknown location. On April 30, she was sent to
the Daqing City Detention Center. There she repeatedly vomited and fainted, so
she was sent to the hospital for treatment for more than 10 days. She was
diagnosed with a serious gallstone. But Zhang Yiqing(male), the chief of Wolitun
Police Department, and police officers from Daqing City Police Department had
her released from the hospital and took her back to the Daqing Detention Center. On April 25, 2007, another practitioner, Ms. Yang Jinfeng, 51 years old, was
persecuted severely in the Daqing Detention Center and was in mortal danger. 5. [Shandong Province] Practitioner Ms. Wang Chuanlian's Detention Extended
in Wangcun Labor Camp On May 25, 2004, Ms. Wang Chuanlian was sentenced and detained in Wangcun
Labor Camp. She was subjected to torture since she refused to be
"transformed." She was scheduled for release on May 25, 2007, but she
is still detained. No word has been heard about her. Members of her family have
called the labor camp to request her release, but a female guard said that Ms.

After Returning Home from Prison Mr. Kong Xiangzhu, a Falun Gong practitioner from Shuangyashan City, returned
home from Mudanjiang Prison on April 17, 2007. Presently, he is extremely weak
and in a coma. 7. [Fuyu County, Heilongjiang Province] Practitioner Ms. Liu Chunlan Taken
Away by 610 Office in Heihe City On the morning of May 25, 2007, Ms. Liu Chunlan, a Falun Gong practitioner
from Fuyu County, Heilongjiang Province, was taken away by local 610
Office agents in Heihe City. It is said that she was reported to the
police and tracked while she distributed truth clarifying materials. 8. [Anhui Province] More Than 10 Practitioners Still Detained in Fuyang City

(Home), 86-13905588058 (Cell) 9. [Fushun City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Xu Yong Locked Up in a Small Cell in
Shenyang Prison Mr. Xu Yong, a practitioner from Fushun City, is detained in Shenyang Prison
in Liaoning Province. He is locked up in a "small cell." He has been
on a hunger strike to protest for more than 10 days. The prison authorities have
denied his family all visitation rights. Deputy warden Chen Guang(male): 86-13390117358 (Cell) 10. [Zhuozhou City, Hebei Province] Mr. Wu Zhihong and Others Subject to
Persecution Mr. Wu Zhihong, a practitioner from Zhuozhou City, was taken away by police
in Beijing. Mr. Zhang Yueming and Ms. He Yuhua, practitioners who worked in the
Geology Team under 173 Coal Field, were also taken away from their homes by
police officers from Beijing Police Department. Also, their homes were searched.
Afterward, the officers rushed to the home of another practitioner, Mr. Zhao,
but failed to seize him. He was forced to become destitute and homeless to avoid
further persecution. The three practitioners' whereabouts are unknown. In addition, practitioner Ms. Zong Jingxia is still detained at Zhuozhou City
Detention Center. 11. [Changtu County, Liaoning Province] Practitioner Mr. Li Wei Arrested by
Police from Pingan Town Police Station Mr. Li Wei was arrested by officers from the Pingan Town Police Station in
Changtu County while he was clarifying the truth about the persecution of Falun
Gong. He was detained at the Changtu County Detention Center. He was put in
shackles as if he were a felon. It wasn't until fellow practitioners from Siping
City that were attempting to rescue Mr. Liu Qinghua and Mr. Meng Xiangchen were
themselves arrested by police officers from the Maojiadian Town Police Station
that Mr. Li Wei's arrest was discovered. Presently, the three practitioners are

Detained On the afternoon of May 13, 2007, while spreading information about the
persecution of Falun Gong, Ms. Chen Jie and Ms. Wei Denghui, former staff
members of Sichuan Chemical Company Limited, and Ms. Xie Wenju, a former staff
member of the Chemical Machinery Plant, were reported and taken away by police
officers from the Kangjiadu Police Station. At that time, Ms. Wei Denghui
escaped by maintaining righteous thoughts. Later, Gao Daojun(male), the head of
Security Department in Sichuan Chemical Company Limited; Liao Hongbing(male),
director of 610 Office; Gan Weidong(male), a security guard from Ms. Wei's
workplace; Wang Qin(female), the CCP secretary at Ms. Wei's workplace; as well
as police officers from the State Security Division seized Ms. Wei and took her
to Xindu Detention Center. Ms. Chen Jie and Ms. Xie Wenju were detained in

Practitioners Arrested At about 5 a.m. on May 29, 2007, police officers broke into the home of Mr.
Li Yaying, a practitioner from Xiaohelong Town, Nongan County, and took him into
custody. That same morning, five other practitioners were also picked up by the
police. 17. [Baoding City, Hebei Province] Practitioner Ms. Zu Cuizhi Taken to
Detention Center At about 11 a.m. on May 31, 2007, Wang Fucai(male) and Dong Honghao(male),
the heads of Laishui County 610 Office, searched the homes of practitioners Ms.
Liu Heling's and Mr. Liu Hesheng. The two are from Anyang Village, Loucun
Township. Ms. Zu Cuizhi, Mr. Liu Hesheng's wife, was taken to the Laishui County
Detention Center. 18. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Detailed Information About Practitioner
Ms. Zhao Guiqin On the afternoon of May 30, 2007, Ms. Zhao Guiqin was arrested near the
Jinshan Hotel by police officers from the Guangming Police Station. She was
detained at the police station for one night and brutally beaten by three
officers. On May 31, she was sent to the Jinzhou District Detention Center in

Sentenced to Prison 21. [Guizhou Province] The Zunyi City 610 Office Plotted to Set up a
Brainwashing Center in June, July and August 2007, to Persecute Practitioners 22. [Shanxi Province] Supplemental Information about the Persecution of
Practitioners in Jiaocheng County Around May 1, 2007, the 610 Office under the Political Security Team of the
Jiaocheng County Police Department and the State Security Division arrested,
detained, threatened, and fined many local practitioners, and searched their
homes. Several new practitioners were compelled to become homeless to avoid
persecution. Among the detained practitioners, one was fined 2000 yuan
and released; three were fined 1000 yuan and released, one was fined 500 yuan
and released; and two are still detained. Most of the practitioners are women in

(Home) 23. [Beijing] The Authorities Harass a Practitioner and His Family At about 3:45 p.m. on April 28, 2007, without any warrants or prior
notification, staff member Dai from the 610 Office that operates within the
Zhanlan Road Subdistrict Office, along with Chai Qinglian(female), the secretary
of Gongli Community Committee in Beiyingfang Town, and Lin An(male), a security
guard from the Gongli Community, broke into a practitioner's home with the
intent to harass. Lin An even took out a camera to take photographs. With the
practitioner's righteous thoughts and his family's assistance, the authorities
were expelled in ten minutes. 24. [Changchuan City, Jilin Province] Fenjin Township Elementary School
Poisons the Minds of Its Students Since April 25, 2007, slogans slandering Falun Gong have been written on the
blackboards throughout all classrooms from first to sixth grade in Fenjin
Township Elementary School. These slurs have poisoned the minds of both students

Zhiping from Shuangyashan Farm Middle School Sentenced to Prison On March 26, 2007, the Hongxinglong Court in Heilongjiang Province held a
trial for practitioners Mr. Shan Zhiping, Mr. Meng Xianzhi, Ms. Yu Xiujun, and
Ms. Ye. Recently it was learned that Mr. Shan Zhiping was sentenced to prison
for six years and Mr. Meng Xianzhi for five years. Information about the other

Home on May 31 27. [Shandong Province] Xiajin County Police Department Extorted 60,000 Yuan
from a Practitioner Authorities from Xiajin County Police Department extorted 60,000 yuan from
Mr. Wang Chuanrong's wife, who is a Falun Gong practitioner, before releasing
her. In addition, Ms. Ren Jingling, a practitioner in Xiajin County, was taken
away by police on the afternoon of April 16, 2007, and her Falun Gong materials
were also taken. 28. [Zhuanglang County, Gansu Province] Ms. Yang Meimei Detained Illegally On May 13, 2007, on a street in Yuebao Village, Ms. Yang Meimei, a
practitioner from Yuebao Village, Zhuanglang County, was arrested. The next day,
the police officers searched her home and took Falun Gong books and tapes. She
was sent to the Zhuanglang County Detention Center. Ms. Yang Meimei, 45, is an illiterate farmer. After she began practicing
Falun Gong in 1997, many of her diseases disappeared and her health was
restored. On New Year's Day 2001, she went to Beijing to appeal for Falun Gong.
As a result, she and other practitioners from Zhuanglang County were detained
for five months. Later, guards extorted 5000 yuan from her and then released her
on bail. In May 2002, she was detained for another month since she stated that
she would continue practicing Falun Gong. According to her husband, her legs

the home of Mr. Liu Yalin in the Dadukou District and arrested Mr. Liu and his
wife. Currently their whereabouts are unknown. 30. [Anshan City, Liaoning Province] Duilu Police Station Employed Idlers to
Persecute Practitioners Duilu Police Station in the Tiexi District, Anshan City, employed idlers to
monitor and report on practitioners for a reward. The idlers are paid 500 yuan
monthly plus a retirement premium. For two months, they have taken turns
patrolling around the clock. 31. [Chongqing City] Practitioner Ms. He Hong Arrested on the Morning of June
1 32. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Six Practitioners Arrested At about 4 or 5 a.m. on May 29, 2007, police officers from Changchun City
colluded with police officers in Helong Town to arrest six practitioners,
including Mr. Zhao Ping, Mr. Wang Shoushan, Ms. Wang Yajuan and her husband, and
Mr. Fu Cheng and his wife. 33. [Yanji City, Jilin Province] Practitioner Mrs. Zhu Arrested While
Distributing Falun Gong Truth Materials Mrs. Zhu, a 60-year-old practitioner in Yanji City, was arrested by officers
from Beishan Police Station for distributing Falun Gong truth materials. 34. [Shenzhen City, Guangdong Province] Practitioner Ms. Sun Jinghong
Arrested On the afternoon of May 29, 2007, Ms. Sun Jinghong, a practitioner in the
Nanshan District, Shenzhen City, was reported to police by her daughter's middle
school politics teacher , which is attached to North Normal University, while
she was clarifying the truth about the persecution of Falun Gong to the teacher.
Ms. Sun was arrested, and the police also took her printer from her home. 35. [Chifeng City, Inner Mongolia] Practitioner Mr. Huang Yade and His Wife
Arrested Mr. Huang Yade, a practitioner in the Songshan District, Chifeng City, was
arrested on June 1, 2007. His wife, who is not a practitioner, was also arrested
at her job site that same day. 36. [Qionghai City, Hainan Province] Many Practitioners Taken to the

Tortured and Detained Mr. Tu Guofan, Ms. Wang Qingyun, Mr. Tao Fu, Mr. Shi Lagen, Mr. Wei Qiang,
and Mr. Wu Laiting, all practitioners in Nanchang City, were taken away and
tortured by police officers from the State Security Division of the Xihu
District, Nanchang City, from March 7 until March 10, 2007. They have been
detained in the No. 1 Detention Center for more than two months. 38. [Liaoyuan City, Jilin Province] Ms. Sun Guizhi Arrested On the morning of May 26, 2007, police officers from Tai'an Police Station in
the Xi'an District, Liaoyuan City, arrested practitioner Ms. Sun Guizhi when she
was distributing Falun Gong truth booklets Justice Has Long Arms. Chief of the Tai'an Police Station Shi Hanzhang(male) : 86-13904378466 (Cell) 39. [Shandong Province] Mr. Li Zhonglei Arrested Mr. Li Zhonglei, a practitioner in Renhe Village, Zibo City, was forced to be
destitute and homeless for more than two years to avoid persecution. At about 9
p.m. on May 15, 2007, Mr. Li was taken away from Linchi Village by police
officers from the Zouping County 610 Office and Linchi Town Police Station. He
is being detained at the Zouping County Detention Center. 40. [Hebei Province] Two Practitioners from the Hejian Area Arrested for
Distributing Falun Gong Truth Material Recently, it was learned that Ms. Wang Xiaofen, a local practitioner in the
Hejian Area, and Ms. Chen Shuwen, over 40 years old, a practitioner from
elsewhere, were arrested while they were distributing Falun Gong truth material
two weeks ago. 41. [Xichang City, Sichuang Province] Supplement to the Arrests of 18
Practitioners At about 9 a.m. on May 24, 2007, police officers from the Xicheng Police
Station and the Changan Police Station, Liu Guoxiang(male), Guo Jian(male), and
three female officers from the State Security Division in Xichang City broke
into the residence of practitioner Mr. Lai Yuwen. They arrested 18
practitioners. Practitioners in one police car were sent to the Xicheng Police
Station and then redirected to the State Security Division more than 10 minutes
later. Practitioners in another police car were sent directly to the State
Security Division. The practitioners were interrogated separately. They were
fingerprinted and photographed against their will. Of those arrested, 15 were
released. Mr. Lai Yuwen, Ms. Tang Qiong, and Ms. Wu Shilian are still in the
