(Clearwisdom.net) On June 20, 2007, "Truth-Compassion-Tolerance International Art Exhibition" opened in Minhsiong Library in Chiayi, Taiwan. The exhibition will be held until July 13. Because local practitioners spread news of the exhibition in advance, on the morning of the opening day, students from Minhsiong Primary School came to visit. More than fifty students listened to the explanation of the guide and came to know Falun Gong is a practice based on "Truth-Compassion-Tolerance". They also learned about the CCP's atrocities in its persecution of Falun Gong. The students stood in the gallery and were reluctant to leave.

The exhibition shows forty-three paintings in four sections, "Enlightenment," "The Beauty of Cultivation," "Calling for Justice," and "Justice Prevails." The guide explained, "The works displayed in the exhibition are the creation of a group of outstanding artists of different backgrounds. Through practicing Falun Dafa, these artists have obtained physical health and spiritual elevation. They have integrated their personal understanding and experiences into their artistic works through traditional painting techniques to express brightness, purity and the supreme compassion that art should have. Through the medium of art, the artists have also depicted the brutal persecution endured by Falun Gong practitioners in China over the past eight years, and manifested the noble and uncompromising spirit of these practitioners who believe in "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance."

Since the public introduction of Falun Gong in 1992 in China, the number of practitioners reached one hundred million within a few years because of the practice teaches people to cultivate heart toward kindness and the health benefit from practicing the five set exercises. Out of jealousy, Jiang's faction and the CCP initiated the persecution of Falun Gong in 1999.

The guide explained in front of a painting "Injection of toxic drugs", "Falun Gong practitioners are detained and injected neurotoxic drugs in mental hospitals for not giving up their belief. The work showcases a young girl. The grace of cultivation and the evil of persecution form strong contrast. Though she was persecuted, her heart was filled with compassion. Though her body was tortured, her heart is so noble. The artist was able to express both the kindness and evil."

The students were shocked by the brutal persecution and found it hard to believe possible. The teacher told them, "Mainland China is controlled by the CCP and there are no basic human rights. Freedom of belief is trampled, so such inhuman tragedy can then occur."

The guide stressed the uncompromising courage of Falun Gong practitioners. He said, "Though the girl suffered torture, she had no painful or resentful expression on her face. Instead, she appeared peaceful. The painting presents a kind and peaceful heart. She dealt with evil with a pure heart." Many students indicated that they understood and seemed to feel the unique realm.
