Handan City Forced Labor Camp (Hebei Province) Authorities Viciously Beat Practitioners, Policeman Gao Fei Receives Karmic Retribution

(Clearwisdom.net) The Handan Forced Labor Camp of Hebei Province has always closely followed the orders of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) to persecute Falun Dafa practitioners. It is one of the major sites within Hebei Province where Falun Dafa practitioners are illegally detained and tortured. It is said that there are only approximately two dozen Dafa practitioners left in the "Special Education Squad." Even now, these practitioners are subject to severe beatings.

The labor camp persecutes Dafa practitioners and forces them to sing CCP propaganda songs before each meal. On April 2, 2007, Dafa practitioners Gu Daping and Cheng Wendong refused to sing the songs praising the CCP. A couple of days later, at 9:00 a.m., Cheng Wendong was brought into the Police Activity Room by officers Jia Yinbing, Wang Zhiming and Zuo Tao and was heavily beaten until lunch time. At 2:00 p.m., the three policemen again beat Mr. Cheng for over an hour. Mr. Cheng was black and blue all over. He was bedridden for over ten days and required assistance in carrying out basic necessities.

On April 25, 2007 at 9:00 p.m., Dafa practitioner Zhang Jinsheng was viciously beaten for over an hour by officers Jia Yinbing and Wang Zhiming simply because he could not squat down when told to during a roll call due to having back pain. After the heavy beating, Mr. Zhang is unable to perform basic daily activities.

On the morning of May 28, 2007, due to his refusal to write a letter renouncing Falun Dafa, practitioner Wang Guoeng from Hengshui was brought into the Police Activity Room by officers Jia Yinbing and Wang Zhiming and was viciously beaten. It is said that if one practitioner writes a letter of renouncement, the head and the counselor of the Special Education Squad, Jia Qingxi and Wang Zhiming, will each be awarded 300 yuan; deputy head Jia Yingbing and deputy head of the Education Office Gao Jingli will be awarded 200 yuan and all the other team leaders will also get 200 yuan. Gao Jingli, Head of the Special Education Squad (also acting as the deputy head of the Education Office) instructed assistant educator Liu Zhaohui (one of the collaborators) to beat Dafa practitioner Wang Guoeng. Mr. Wang's arms were bruised from the beating.

Gao Jingli also instigated the severe beating of Mr. Wang by inmates Zhang Xin and Miao Huiyong. He also instigated the beating of Dafa practitioner Guo Shezhao by Miao Huiyong for a prolonged period of time.

Police officers Gao Jinli, Jia Yingbing, Wang Zhiming, Zuo Tao and Zeng Yiwei have been threatening, menacing, and trying to deceive and entice Dafa practitioners into writing renouncement letters. They use electric batons and sticks to threaten and beat Dafa practitioners at will.

Editors' Note: In both Western and Chinese culture, the principle of karmic retribution, that is, being held ultimately accountable for one's own actions, is widely accepted. The fundamental teaching of Falun Gong is the characteristic of the universe, "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance." The universe will reward actions that are in harmony with this principle, while actions such as beating, torturing and murdering people will incur karmic retribution. Stated another way, good deeds will be rewarded with good, while evildoings will meet due retribution. Articles such as this one are meant as a compassionate reminder of this principle to those who would commit wrongdoing. While many of those who persecute Falun Gong are merely "following orders," the universal law requires that they too be held responsible for their actions, and that only by reversing their course of wrongdoing may they escape retribution.

On March 8, 2007, Gao Fei, a policeman from the Special Education Squad, suddenly collapsed due to a blood clot in the brain and was sent to the emergency room. After over 100,000 yuan was spent at the hospital, Gao was released. Ge Qingxi, the head of the police station, said publicly that Gao's illness was due to his hard work in "transforming" Falun Gong practitioners. The fact was that Gao received karmic retribution for his evil deeds in persecuting Falun Gong practitioners. (The so-called "transforming" is actually using harsh or deceitful measures, and torture to force Falun Dafa practitioners to renounce their belief in Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance).

Gao Fei, in his forties, is a member of the 610 Office of Handan City. Since 2001, he has viciously tortured and beaten Dafa practitioners. He held brainwashing sessions and extorted money from practitioners and their families. For these, he was awarded the "Class One Award for Education and Transformation Performance." He used to be regarded as an expert in "transforming" Falun Gong practitioners and was featured in a newscast by a Hebei Provincial Television channel. Gao has been suffering from angina for a long time. Now he has developed a blood clot in the brain.
