Mr. Wu Shufa, who has been protesting the persecution in the Jiangxi No. 1 Forced Labor Camp, suffers from massive internal bleeding in his stomach and intestines as a result of abuse from labor camp guards. His life is in imminent danger.

Mr. Wu Shufa was arrested by a group of officers led by Xia Shuikai of the Yingtan City State Security Division in mid-September 2006. The police also unlawfully searched his home. Mr. Wu went on hunger strike to protest. The police transferred him to the Gaoan Forced Labor Camp within 10 days of his arrest for a three-year forced labor term.

At around 6:00 p.m. on June 5, 2007, Ms. Xiao Yunhe and Ms. Liu Chunfang, practitioners in Qinglong County, were unlawfully taken into custody by officers from the Louzhangzi Police Station. Ms. Xiao Yunhe is now being held at the Qinglong County Detention Center.

Ms. Hu Xuehong, a new practitioner in Tongcheng County, Hubei Province, went to distribute "truth-clarifying materials" on June 2, 2007. At 3:00 p.m. she was turned in to the police, and officers from the Tanghu Police Station in Tongcheng County handcuffed her and took her away.

The police also took away all of her cash (less than 100 yuan) and the identity card that she has with her. She is being unlawfully interrogated at the local detention center.

Ms. Xu Nixia, a practitioner in Baoshan District, Shanghai City, was unlawfully arrested last year for clarifying the truth. There hasn't been any information heard about her situation for a while. It was recently learned that she had been unlawfully sentenced to four years in prison. Prior to her arrest, Ms. Xu Nixia had been forcibly taken to a so-called "study session" for brainwashing twice.

On May 13, 2007, Ms. Yang Fan, 58, a practitioner from the Zhongguancun area in Haidian District, Beijing, was turned in to the authorities while she was "clarifying the truth" and persuading others to withdraw from the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its affiliated organizations. She has been transferred to the Qinghe Detention Center from the Qinghe Police Station

On May 19, 2007, Ms. Chen Wenxiu, a practitioner in Anqiu City, Hebei Province, was taken into custody by officers from the Dongguan Police Station. Ms. Chen is being unlawfully held at the Anqiu Detention Center.

Practitioner Mr. Wang Jisheng was doing business with Wei Yuanlong (male), who owed payments to Mr. Wang for an extended period of time. Wei eventually reported to the police that Mr. Wang practices Falun Gong. As prices went up, Mr. Wang had to ask Wei for payments. Wei not only refused to make any payments, but also instigated his younger brother to beat Mr. Wang and lock him up. The police took Mr. Wang Jisheng into custody upon receiving reports from Wei that Mr. Wang practiced Falun Gong. The officers also unlawfully searched Mr. Wang's home. Mr. Wang remains in custody at the Linyi Detention Center.

Ms. Zhang Wuyin is a teacher at the Institute of Humanities and Social Science of Changzhou Institute of Technology. On May 31, 2007, Ms. Zhang was unlawfully taken into custody. Her husband, Mr. Wu Dianhui, died from persecution in 2006. Their 6-year-old son Wu Rong and her husband's father and mother are having a hard time supporting each other.

Ms. Nie Tianying, 45, is a practitioner from Xiaocunying Village in Xiaocun Township, Dingxing County. On May 28, Zhang Zhenfu (male), the village Party secretary, sent village security officials Wang Fengrui (male) and Zhang Zhencai (male) to assist officials from the township government in taking Ms. Nie into custody. The officials also searched her home, taking away a copy of the book Zhuan Falun, truth-clarifying leaflets, and a cassette player. Ms. Nie is being unlawfully held at the Dagou Detention Center in Baoxing County.

Mr. Xu Shumin, a practitioner in Shixiang Village in Xiaocun Township was watching TV at home on May 28. Village Party Secretary Xu Changjiang led Xu Aijun (male), Chief of the Dingxing County Police Department, to Mr. Xu's home. They unlawfully took Mr. Xu to the Dagou Detention Center.

In addition, Mr. Zhao Lianfu, a practitioner from Jiuji Village, was also forcibly taken to the Dagou Detention Center on May 28.

In the early morning of June 5, 2007, over twenty police officers, led by Jia Qingchuan (male), broke into Ms. Li Shuying's home. The officers forcibly took Ms. Li, who is in her seventies, and elderly Ms. Zhao Shuhua to the police department. The officers also confiscated a large number of Falun Dafa books and DVDs. The two elderly ladies were transferred to the Dagou Detention Center the same night.

Ms. Ding Eryi, in her seventies, is a retired employee at a health facility in Wulian County, Rizhao City. On the evening of May 29, she was unlawfully taken into custody by officers from the Wulian County Police Department while she was clarifying the truth in the downtown area of Wulian County. She was taken to the county police department's detention center. She has been there for eight days, and she has been physically and mentally abused.

Ms. Chang Yuying, about 40 years old, is a practitioner from Anyang City, Henan Province. She lived in the Guanghua Residential Community near Yucai Road in Wenfeng District, Anyang City. Around September 2005, she lost contact with fellow practitioners. It has recently been verified via reliable channels that Ms. Chang Yuying was secretly arrested at her home. The police searched her home. Recently the Anyang Court sentenced her to seven years in prison.

On April 18, 2007, Ms. Zhao Xirong, a practitioner from Gaoping District, was turned in to the police in Qinglian Township, Gaoping District. Eight agents from the State Security Division of the Gaoping District Police Department and officials from the Qinglian Township government forcibly took her into custody. The officers subsequently searched her home.

On the same day, Ms. Liu Siqing, (in her thirties) a practitioner working in a salt factory in Gaoping District, and Ms. Zhang Yaqian, a practitioner from Yong'an Township in Qingju Town, arrived at Ms. Zhao Xirong's home. When they knocked on the door, state security agents, who were unlawfully searching Ms. Zhao's home, forcibly took into custody the two practitioners. Later, Ms. Yang Yingqian, a practitioner working at the Dongguan Town Distribution Center, went to Ms. Zhao's home. Officers, who were staked out at Ms. Zhao's home, caught her as well. Six or seven state security agents and officers from the Baita Police Station took Ms. Liu Siqing back to her home for an unlawful search the same night. The police took away a portrait of the founder of Falun Gong and a copy of Zhuan Falun.

The four practitioners were initially held at the Huafeng Detention Center in Nanchong City. Around mid-May, they were unlawfully sentenced to forced labor by the Forced Labor Committee of the Gaoping District Police Department. Ms. Liu Siqing was to serve a term of fifteen months, and the other three practitioners were to serve a term of twelve months each. Ms. Liu Siqing, Ms. Zhang Xiaoqin, and Ms. Zhao Xirong have been transferred to the Jialing District Detention Center in Nanchong City. On the evening of May 22, Ms. Liu Siqing, Ms. Zhang Xiaoqin, and Ms. Zhao Xirong were hit by physicians on duty with charged electric baton. Ms. Liu's face turned swollen as a result of the electric shocking.

Ms. Liu Siqing had been held in custody in 2000 for going to Beijing to appeal for justice. On January 9, 2001, she was unlawfully arrested at her home and sentenced to one year of forced labor.

Mr. Zhang Shuxing, a practitioner who owns the Rongxing Lodge in the Economics and Technology Development District in Dalian City, Liaoning Province, clarified the truth to guests in his lodge. At around 1:00 or 2:00 p.m. on June 5, 2007, officers from the district's police department took him into custody. Mr. Zhang is being held at the district's detention center.

At around 10:00 p.m. on June 4, 2007, officers from the Qidong County 610 Office took Mr. Kuang Zongyao, a practitioner from Buyunqiao Town in Qidong County, Hengyang City, Hunan Province into custody. Also taken into custody was Ms. Chen Hui.

On May 29, 2007, Zhao Lin (male), director of the Political and Judiciary Committee in the Fengning Autonomous County of the Manchu Nationality in Hebei Province, in association with officers from the 610 Office, unlawfully took into custody practitioners in the county's Huangqi Town. Practitioners taken into custody include: Mr. Bai Xinguo (67 years old), Mr. Wang Qingfeng, Mr. Sui Haidong, and Ms. Li Fenghua. Practitioners Mr. Bai Guangkun and Ms. Liu Guilan were forced to leave town.

On April 4, 2005, Mr. Fu Guoqi and several other practitioners in Wuhan City were arrested at a Falun Dafa materials production site on Cunren Lane in Qiaokou District, Wuhan City by officers from Section One of the district's state security division and the Liji Street Police Station. The practitioners were held at the Qiaokou District Detention Center for abuse. Their families have been denied visitation for over two years.

In May 2007, when family members went to the Qiaokou District Detention Center again, officials told them that the practitioners were no longer held there. However, they refused to reveal where the practitioners had been taken. Mr. Fu Guoqi's whereabouts remain unknown.

At around 4:00 p.m. on May 15, 2007, police and state security agents in Zouping County and officers, including Sun Jiguang (male), from the Linchi Town Police Station unlawfully took into custody practitioners Ms. Wang Jinzhi and her sister Wang Jinhua from Dalinchi Village in Linchi Town. The officers also unlawfully searched their home. At 9:00 p.m. the same night, two male practitioners who worked odd jobs in Linchi Town were taken into custody. The four practitioners are being held at the Zouping County Detention Center.

Between March 16 and March 19, 2007, nine practitioners were unlawfully arrested, one practitioner's home unlawfully searched, and one interrogated. One production site of Falun Gong materials was sabotaged. Three practitioners' whereabouts remain unknown.

Mr. Wang Xiaoyin, 35, from the Nanba Residential Community in Bazhou Town, who began practicing Falun Gong in 1998, was arrested on March 16, and his home unlawfully searched;

Mr. Yang Lianzong, 64, from the Wuhaoqiao area in Bazhou Town, who began practicing Falun Gong in 1998, was arrested on March 17, and his home unlawfully searched;
Ms. Yang Qinghua, 55, from the Jiangbei Residential Community, who began practicing Falun Gong in 1998, was arrested on March 17, and her home unlawfully searched;
Ms. Zhou Lihua, 53, from Nanbanbian Street in Bazhou Town, who began practicing Falun Gong in 1997, was arrested on March 17, her home unlawfully searched, and a photocopier and truth-clarifying materials were confiscated;
Mr. Zhou Chunshu, 68, from Nanchi Road in Bazhou Town, was arrested on March 18, and his home unlawfully searched;
Mr. Zhao Ji, 62, from the Xiaodongmen area in Bazhou Town, who began practicing Falun Gong in 2005, was arrested on March 19, his home unlawfully searched, anda photocopier and truth-clarifying materials were confiscated;
Mr. Xu, 76, from Bazhou Town, who began practicing Falun Gong in 1998, was arrested on the evening of March 16, and his home was unlawfully searched. He was later released due to old age;
Ms. Dong, 62, from Bazhou Town, who began practicing Falun Gong in 1994, was taken to the Xicheng Police Station for interrogation.

Most practitioners unlawfully taken into custody have been held at the Bazhou District Detention Center, and some have been reported to have been transferred to the Nanjiang and Pingchang areas.

At noon on June 1, 2007, police who were staked out their home took them into custody. The officers searched their home, the retail outlet where Mr. Huang works at, and his wife's work unit.

Practitioner Ms. Liu Xiuzhi, 54, was unlawfully detained by the Yitong County Police Department in Jilin Province for fifteen days for validating the Fa in November 2000. In March 2001, she was taken to a brainwashing center by the Yitong County 610 Office. In July 2004, Li Xiaodong (male) of the county state security division and officers from the Kaoshan Town Police Station took Ms. Liu away while she was at her home and unlawfully sentenced her to two years of forced labor. Ms. Liu was denied admission at the labor camp because of her poor physical condition resulting from earlier persecution. The local authorities still refused to release her until her family had been forced to pay extortion to local officials.

On May 8, 2007, Ms. Liu Xiuzhi was turned in to the police while she was distributing truth-clarifying materials at Taiyangling Village in Huangziling Township. Officers from the Huangziling Police Station and the state security division arrested her, searched her home, and sentenced her to eighteen months of forced labor. On May 30, 2007, she was taken to the Heizuizi Women's Forced Labor Camp in Changchun City, Jilin Province.

On the evening of June 6, 2007, practitioner Ms. Tao Jusheng was taken into custody while posting self-adhesive truth-clarifying signs. She is being held at the Huanggang No. 2 Detention Center.

On June 5, 2007, several police officers unlawfully took Mr. Sun Hongbo, a practitioner from Zhaodong City, into custody. Mr. Sun is being held at the Zhaodong City Detention Center.

On June 2, 2007, Mr. Liu Haiwang, a practitioner from Dougong Township in Neihuang County, Anyang City, was taken into custody by the police. Mr. Liu is being held at the Neihuang County Detention Center.

On May 28, 2007, Ms. Zhou Yufen went visit her mother. When she approached her mother's home, a group of police officers from the Shuiguohu Police Station forcibly took her into custody. The officers grabbed her bag and stole her materials and keys. They unlawfully searched the home of Ms. Zhou's mother.

In mid-May, practitioner Mr. Yang Aiqing, in his sixties and a retired physician of the Chaohu City No. 2 People's Hospital, was unlawfully taken to the Chaohu Detention Center.

On April 30, 2007, Ms. Chen Shuwen, a practitioner from Langfang City, was turned in to the authorities when she was visiting her hometown. Officers in Hejian City, Hebei Province took her into custody and unlawfully held her at the detention center of the city's police department. Ms. Chen Shuwen has been on hunger strike for over six days.

In addition, on the evening of June 4, 2007, Ms. Dong Qiuying, in her forties and a practitioner from Hejian City, was taken into custody by officers from the Hejian City Police Department without cause. She has been forcibly held at the detention center.

At around 8:00 p.m. on April 13, 2007, practitioners Mr. Li Zhuang, 34, and his wife Cui He were unlawfully taken into custody at their home in Benxi County. Mr. Li and Ms. He are being held at the Xiaoshi Detention Center in Benxi County.

On May 31, 2007, practitioner Ms. Zhang Ping, 76, was followed by plainclothes police officers while she was clarifying the truth in a farm market in Rizhao City. She was taken into custody. Ms. Zhang is being held at the Rizhao Detention Center.

Ms. Zhang's daughter was followed and taken into custody by plainclothes officers while she was clarifying the truth on a bus on June 4. She was held at the Zhaoyang Road Police Station. The same night, she managed to get out of her handcuffs and escaped.

Ms. Wang Xueli, 34, lives in Guangshun Town, Rongchang County, Chongqing. On April 27, 2007, she went out with practitioner Ms. Li Ermei to clarify the truth. They were turned in to the police and subsequently taken into custody by Lei Tianming (male) and other officers. Ms. Li Ermei has returned home since then.

On the afternoon of June 4, 2007, a group of officers took into custody practitioner Ms. Zou Yuxia at her home in Da'an City. The police even forcibly took her clients away with her.

Mr. Feng Liping, who was unlawfully taken into custody on May 9, 2007, was recently sent to the Public Security Hospital in Changchun City for emergency rescue. The police demanded 5,000 yuan from his family for his medical expenses, but his family refused.

Numerous practitioners who were taken into custody in Erdao District, Changchun City on May 9, 2007 have all been unlawfully held at the No. 3 Detention Center, affiliated with the Changchun City Police Department.

On July 22, 2006, police unlawfully searched practitioner Ms. Zhao Lixin's home in Shuangtaizi District, Panjin City. The officers forcibly took away her identity card and residential records. Around 2:00 p.m. on May 29, 2006, Ms. Zhao went to the Zhongxin Residential Community in Shuangtaizi District to apply for a new identity card. Officers from the Hongqi Police Station forcibly took her into custody. It has been reported that she was taken to a brainwashing center the same day.

Practitioner Mr. Zhang Zhiguo, who has been unlawfully held in the No. 11 Ward in Hulan Prison, was spotted by prison guard Wang Yifeng (male) reading a book. Mr. Zhang was transferred to a small cell where he was held in solitary confinement. When his family went to visit him, the prison guards rejected their request.

Between May 28 and May 30, 2007, Li Zhaofa (male), head of the Taoxu Town 610 Office in Mengyin County, Shandong Province, organized a campaign to take practitioners away for brainwashing.

On May 29, the 610 Office officials tried to coerce Ms. Su Jilian, a Falun Gong practitioner in Liuzhuang Village, to the brainwashing center. Ms. Su's family was building a house, and she refused to go. In the end, Li Zhaofa extorted 300 yuan cash from her without taking her into custody.

On May 30, the same group of officials rounded up Ms. Wang Huanmei, an elderly practitioner in her seventies in Dazhan Village, Ms. Zhang Shaogui, an elderly practitioner in Songlinzi Village, and Ms. Gong Ji'ai, an elderly practitioner in Baojiazhuang Village, to the county 610 Office for brainwashing for a day. The practitioners were released at 7:00 p.m. the same night. Over twenty practitioners were taken to the 610 Office for brainwashing.

At noon on April 30, 2007, practitioner Ms. Chen Jianhua was taken away by the authorities from her temporary home in the barber's shop within the Dongli Residential Community in the Taipingqiao area of Fengtai District, Beijing. It has been learned that Ms. Chen has been held at the Xuanwu District Detention Center.

On June 4, 2007, Li Dong (male) of the Laoshan Police Department and other officers suddenly broke into practitioner Ms. Ju Ping's home in Beizhai Village. The officers took Ms. Ju into custody and confiscated Falun Dafa books, a personal computer, a printer, and other items. Ms. Ju is being held at the Qingdao Detention Center.

On the afternoon of June 4, 2007, officers from the Nancheng Police Station in Sanhe City forcibly took practitioner Meng Zhaomin (gender unknown) into custody. The officers also took away personal items including a cassette player, Falun Gong exercise tapes, and Falun Dafa books. According to reliable sources, the Sanhe City police are planning to take Meng to the Langfang Brainwashing Center.
