Seoul, Korea: Truth-Compassion-Tolerance International Art Exhibition Held, the Public Supports Falun Gong (Photos) By a practitioner in Seoul
(Clearwisdom.net) The 37th Korean Truth-Compassion-Tolerance
International Art Exhibition was held in Gwangjin-gu Culture Museum in Seoul
from June 11 to 15, 2007. The works displayed in the exhibition were the
creation of a group of outstanding artists of different backgrounds. Through
practicing Falun Dafa, these artists have obtained physical health and spiritual
elevation. They have integrated their personal understandings and experiences
into their artistic works using traditional painting techniques to express
brightness, purity, and the supreme compassion that art should have. Through
their art, the artists showcase their aspiration to achieve the wonderful realm
of unity of Heaven and Man. Also through the medium of art, the artists have
depicted the brutal persecution endured by Falun Gong practitioners in China
over the past eight years, and manifested the noble and uncompromising spirit of
these practitioners who believe in
"Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance." The artists hope to help more
people learn about Falun Gong so that they will become concerned about and help
put an end to the persecution as soon as possible. Truth-Compassion-Tolerance International Art Exhibition held
in Gwangjin-gu Culture Museum in Seoul, Korea A Falun Gong practitioner explains the paintings ![]() A lady who had learned the facts signed the petition to support Falun Gong and protest the persecution During the exhibition, a Romanian musical troupe performed Sahmyook University professors' musical works on the second floor. Most of the participants saw the exhibition. Through the art works and practitioners' explanations, they learned what Falun Gong is, how the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) brutally persecutes Falun Gong, and the uncompromising spirit of practitioners facing the persecution. The Romanian troupe members expressed their concern over the trampling of Falun Gong practitioners' human rights and gained a better understanding of the evil nature of the CCP. On each day of the two days they came to view the art works. Local residents of Gwangjin-gu actively signed the petition to support Falun Gong practitioners protesting the persecution. Many viewers expressed their support for the massive withdrawals from the CCP in China. A Chinese person wrote down "The CCP is bad" and signed the petition after seeing the paintings and accepting a copy of the "Nine Commentaries on Communist Party." Some viewers said that the CCP has a cruel nature and that eliminating it is the best course of action. Posting date: 6/25/2007
