Shi Xiangdong and her Husband from Shijiazhuang City Arrested; 6-year-old Daughter in Difficulty (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net) It has been reported that on April 29, Falun Dafa practitioner Shi Xiangdong, who works in the Shijiazhuang City Religion Administration Bureau, was illegally arrested after a call to the police by Wu Xianguo, Shijianzhuang City Communist Committee Secretary. Ms. Shi had privately asked Wu to treat Falun Gong kindly after Wu spoke at a minorities conference and slandered Falun Gong. Her husband Liu Xin heard about the arrest and asked for her at the police station. As a result, he was also detained. Soon after, their home was ransacked and their computer, printer and Falun Dafa books, among other items, were illegally taken.

On the night of June 7, Liu Xin's 70-year-old mother received an arrest notice from the Procuratorate of Xinhua District, Shijiazhuang City. With shaking hands, she signed the notice and held her 6-year-old granddaughter, who cried sorrowfully.

Liu Xin's mother has severe high blood pressure and knee joint disease. She has great difficulty taking care of her daily needs. Now Shi Xiangdong and Liu Xin have both been arrested. Her 6-year-old granddaughter has no place to stay, except with an elderly woman with a small pension and barely enough money even for food. She depends on her son and daughter-in-law for her daily expenses. Now that her granddaughter is old enough for school, how can she get money for her granddaughter's schooling? Also, the building where she lives will be torn down, and she needs a large amount of money to buy a new apartment. She does not know what to do without her son and daughter-in-law.

After Shi Xiangdong and Liu Xin started to practice Falun Dafa, they changed completely both physically and mentally. They are good people with superior skills and moral standard at work. For example, when Liu Xin worked on purchasing for his work unit, the manufacturer provided him two prices, giving the higher one to the work unit and the lower one to Liu Xin so that he could gain profit from it. Liu Xin firmly refused and offered to give the lower price to his work unit, saying that he is a Falun Dafa practitioner and would never do underhanded things.
