Switzerland: A Growing Number of People in Martigny Now Know about Falun Gong (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net) Martigny is a village in the mountain region of Switzerland with picturesque scenery. Each year, the Five Continents Festival (La Fete des 5 Continents) is held here. This festival presents a market of different cultures. In the square of the town center, many stands are erected and large numbers of passers-by stop to take a look. This was a good place for Falun Gong practitioners to introduce the practice and to let people know about the persecution in China.

On June the 15 and 16, 2007, Swiss Falun Gong practitioners participated in the Five Continents Festival. They adopted many ways to clarify the truth, with display boards, exercise demonstrations, distributing handouts and collecting signatures on a petition against the persecution.

Many people accepted the Falun Gong truth-clarification materials. Some amongst them read materials immediately and signed the petition to support Falun Gong. Some were interested in the exercise demonstrations, and others concentrated on listening to the introduction about Falun Gong. A young mother narrated the content of the display boards to her two children, then helped them sign the petition against the persecution.

Some people said, "Falun Gong is good," while they passed the booth. Currently, several persons in this village decided to start practicing Falun Gong. We can see that more and more people are taking the way of cultivation to experience the benefits of Falun Gong.
