(Clearwisdom.net) The Yunnan Provincial Second Women's Prison is a dark den used to persecute practitioners. Since the persecution began on July 20, 1999, hundreds of practitioners have been detained there. The evil beings and their elements are being fully dissolved by the immense force of Teacher's Fa-rectification. They have not accepted failure and are making their final stand. Those soon-to-be-eliminated dark minions, rotten demons, evil spirits, and old forces have controlled bad people and policemen by directing them to employ extremely ruthless measures to torture practitioners. The torture methods are so barbaric, brutal, and horrific that they are beyond description.
The persecution of practitioners intensified after 2005, due to instructions by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) government. Prison authorities transferred almost 200 steadfast practitioners, who refused to be "transformed," from seven different divisions into the so called "Group Training Division" where they were isolated and subjected to brainwashing. The prison guards experimented with many ways to pressure and torture the practitioners. Practitioners were forced to sit on small, backless stools for over a dozen hours each day. Some were handcuffed to the bed rail and forced to stand for a week without sleeping. Some were forced to do exercises outside throughout the year, whether it was a bone-chilling winter day or a scorching summer day. Prison guards took turns verbally abusing practitioners with insults and slander. Practitioners could only have three-and-a-half ounces of rice per day. They were not allowed to purchase any food, take a shower, or wash their hair or clothes for several months. Their hair became matted and they smelled terrible. Even during their monthly periods, practitioners were not allowed to use sanitary napkins or change their underwear. Blood soaked their underwear and outer pants. Practitioners were not allowed to use mosquito repellent or netting during the summer. Swarms of mosquitoes bit practitioners. Examples of mistreatment like this are too numerous to mention. The despicable intent of the prison is to "transform" practitioners by forcing them to betray Dafa and thus ruin their futures.
The practitioners took the Fa as Teacher, exposed the vicious persecution and clarified the truth. Their courage, clear-mindedness and dignity in the face of this inhuman persecution has stunned the evil entities and the world's people.
An anonymous practitioner in her 70s was detained for over 20 months. She persisted in protesting the persecution and in clarifying the truth, so the prison authorities put her in the "confinement room." She was not allowed to talk to anyone. She refused to acknowledge the prison rules. She continued to recite Dafa articles and practice the exercises. The prison guards instructed other inmates to stop her from doing the exercises. They covered her mouth and held her to the floor while verbally and physically abusing her. The practitioner spoke righteously and sternly to the perpetrators. She denounced the CCP's crimes of persecuting innocent practitioners. She warned the prison guards and accomplices that doing bad deeds as ordered by the CCP would result in them suffering retribution. She called out loudly: "Falun Dafa is good! Falun Dafa is righteous! Those who persecute practitioners are doomed!" Her loud, clear voice moved everyone. The prison guards and bad inmates shied away from her words. One of her sons, a prosecutor, was deceived by the slanderous propaganda against Dafa. He used to tell his mother not to practice Dafa. Every time, his mother scolded him for believing the CCP's lies. Finally, he gave up and dared not see her anymore.
Another practitioner was brainwashed and went astray. She was once a member of the vicious "helper and instructor team" used to force or deceive practitioners into "transforming." However, she did the three things well after rectifying herself and redoubled her efforts to make amends for the harm she had caused. Later, put in prison for truth clarification activities, she was steadfast as diamond. She used every opportunity to expose the persecution and clarify the truth. No matter what despicable methods the prison authority used against her, she was not moved. The frustrated prison guards put her in the confinement room for 24-hour monitoring daily.
Another practitioner was forced to do exercises outside for three months during the hottest days of summer. She was forced to do military marching for over six hours under the smoldering summer sun. Her hair dried out from the sun, her face was severely sunburned, and her mouth was full of blisters. She had to endure verbal abuse by prison guards and inmates throughout. She recited Teacher's poem:
"The Great Enlightened
Having fully experienced thousands of kinds of hardships,
Two feet tread on a thousand demons;
Upright the palm, heaven and earth quakes,
In the air stands a giant Buddha."

She endured the persecution by keeping in mind that every step she took would help to eliminate the evil factors and shake the entire world. Even the prison guards and inmates respected her courage. They said that she was strong and courageous.
The prison guards ordered practitioners to write a report about their thoughts every week. Many practitioners refused to. This practitioner thought that she could use the opportunity to expose the lies and clarify the truth. She wrote several dozen articles and some were quite long. She talked about the April 25, 1999 incident, where 10,000 practitioners appealed for freedom of belief; how Jiang's CCP started severely persecuting practitioners after July 20, 1999; the truth about the Tiananmen self-immolation incident; and the lawsuits filed against Jiang Zemin in many countries throughout the world. She wrote about ancient myths and prophecies from all over the world. She talked about the various political movements launched by the CCP, such as the Elimination of the Anti-revolutionaries, the Three Oppositions, the Five Oppositions, the Cultural Revolution, the June 4th Massacre and the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners. She described the 5,000-year-old traditional virtues of the Chinese nation and the current world's ten evils. Every article was like a sharp sword cutting through the evil environment. Every article was as powerful as a bomb. Eventually, the prison guards told her not to write any reports. So, she started talking about the truth to the prison guards and inmates. During her three-year detention, she clarified the truth to dozens of prison guards and over a hundred inmates. Some prison guards accepted the truth and changed their attitudes. Many inmates understood the truth and told her they would practice Falun Gong once they are released.
