Friends Around a Dinner Table Describe How They Quit the Chinese Communist Party

(Clearwisdom.net) Teacher says in "Teaching the Fa in San Francisco, 2005:"

"Before long, a phenomenon will appear in Chinese society: when a group of people are sitting in their office, or they are in their factory or a store, or they are sitting around a dinner table, or even as they are entertaining friends at home, their conversation will go something like: "Have you quit?" (Audience laughs) "Yeah, I quit a long time ago." "Oh, why didn't you tell me when you quit the Party?"

When I read this paragraph, I laughed with joy. The Dafa disciples who were listening to Teacher's lecture at the Fa Conference also laughed with joy and applauded loudly and heartily. Since Teacher told us that this day would be coming, all Dafa disciples should look forward to its arrival and hope that sentient beings will wake up quickly. I witnessed the very phenomenon that Teacher described, and it encouraged me and gave me added confidence to spread the "Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party" and ask people to quit the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its affiliated organizations.

A few days ago, I traveled to my hometown on a personal matter. While I was there, I met with some friends. We had not seen one another for several years. The four of us talked and laughed around the dinner table. One of my friends suddenly said to me, "I remember that you always encouraged people to quit the CCP and its affiliated organizations." Then she proudly looked at our other two friends and said, "Well, I was the first of us to quit the Party. Have either of you quit?" Another friend spoke right up. "I quit the Party a while ago myself. I did it two years ago. Not only did I quit, but she also persuaded my family members to quit," she responded, motioning toward me. Then they both looked at our other friend, who was always on the quiet side. She looked at them and smiled as she replied, "Both my husband and I have quit the Party." Then the four of us looked at each other and laughed at the same time.

They were not afraid to discuss this topic despite its sensitivity in China. They did so in an upright and dignified manner and were justifiably proud of their wise choices. It is their hope that the CCP will soon disintegrate and that the people of China will once again live in a peaceful environment and return to an era of clear thinking, free speech, and human rights.

When I heard all my friends say that they had quit the Party, my tears began to flow. Although we had not seen each other for several years, I was very happy to be reunited with these friends I had known since childhood. I had told them in time of the importance of quitting the CCP and its affiliated organizations so they could escape the control of evil and choose a good future for themselves in an otherwise hopeless situation.

I am grateful to Teacher for His encouragement, and I will continue to closely follow the path He has arranged for me. I will widely spread the blessings of Dafa, embrace the historic mission as a Fa-rectification period Dafa disciple, and save sentient beings.
