Several Practitioners in Critical Condition from Abuse at the Qingyang District People's Hospital in Chengdu City, Sichuan Province

(Clearwisdom.net) Falun Dafa practitioner Zhao Zhongling was killed in Qingyang District People's Hospital in Chengdu City, Sichuan Province on May 5, 2007. In addition, several practitioners in Qingyang District People's Hospital are on hunger strike. One has been on hunger strike for six months (name unknown) and is in critical condition. Practitioner Ms. Huang Min has been on hunger strike for 80 days and is extremely weak. Her family is trying to rescue her.

Police from the Qingyang District Public Security Bureau arrested practitioner Huang Min on the afternoon of March 3, 2007. She has been on hunger strike since day one and is extremely weak. Ms. Huang is detained at Qingyang District People's Hospital. Her ankles are held in black iron shackles. She is being force-fed and infused with drugs.

The Qingyang District Court attempted to sentence Ms. Huang without any legal justification. The responsible court "case" officers, Zhou Lin (cell number is 86-13808011433) and Chengdu City national security officers also participated in the torture of Huang Min.

Ms. Huang is a former deputy director from the Chengdu City Rural Area Enterprises Bureau. She retired in November 2000. She has been persecuted many times for firmly practicing Falun Dafa. In the Sichuan Women's Labor Camp, she suffered 19 months of inhuman torture and was skin and bones because she refused to renounce "Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance."

On the morning of May 19, 2005, police from Funan Police Station, staff from the Qingyang District Public Security Sub-bureau, and officials from the Funan Street Office 610 Office arrested Ms. Huang at the place she had rented. One of the arresting officials was in uniform. He would not allow her to wear socks or change clothes. He covered her head, put handcuffs on her and dragged her along. In the Xinjin 610 Office brainwashing center, five to six people held Huang Min to the ground and force-fed her. She lost one of her teeth and her throat bled from the violent insertion of the tube. Huang Min pulled the tube out. They inserted it again and viciously said: "You keep pulling it out! We will reinsert it again. Either way you will get hurt. Just do it if you are not afraid of pain."
