(Clearwisdom.net) According to an internal source from the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region Police Department, the upper levels have issued an order stating that until the time of the Beijing 2008 Olympics, police should "more severely treat" people with contradictory opinions [against the Chinese Communist Party (CCP)], especially Falun Gong practitioners. On May 22, 2007, the Regional CCP Committees held an urgent meeting to discuss strategies to persecute Falun Gong. The departments that joined the meeting included the regional police departments, all departments and offices in charge of persecuting Falun Gong in each government agency, and several commercial companies.

Since July 22, 1999, and for the past eight years, the Regional CCP Committees, the 610 Office system, and all levels of CCP offices have actively followed the persecution of Falun Dafa practitioners. Many practitioners are being detained in prisons and labor camps, and many have been tortured to death.

In 2006, Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Cao Aihua, from the First Farming Corp. of Aksu Army Corp., was brutally tortured to death in the Army Corp. Labor Camp located in Wujiaqu City. Her parents, husband, and son cannot accept the cruel fact that their dear family member was tortured to death, and they refused to have her body cremated. Her son has been watching over her body for six months at a location more than 600 miles away from their home. Her family has been appealing her wrongful death to the Army Corp. People's Congress, the Army Corp. Procuratorate, the Army Corp. Labor Education Bureau, and the Army Corp. Prison Administration, but they have received no results. On May 16, 2007, the Army Corp. Procuratorate and Public Health Bureau issued a combined document, ordering Ms. Cao Aihua's family to cremate her body within 15 days, otherwise they would be forced to cremate her body.

The Army Corp. Labor Camp violated the law as a legal agency. Its upper levels refused to punish the killers, yet they instead further persecute the victim's family.

June 3, 2007

(Clearwisdom.net) Ms. Zhang Lianying is a Falun Gong practitioner from Chaoyang District, Beijing City. While illegally incarcerated in Tiantanghe Women's Forced Labor Camp in Beijing (also known as Beijing Women's Forced Labor Camp), Ms. Zhang Lianying was subjected repeatedly to brutal violence and psychological torment. On March 27, 2007, Ms. Zhang suffered brutal violence again. This time the violence inflicted severe injuries to her head and body, resulting in a coma. Finally, the camp took her to the hospital for emergency resuscitation. With their daughter in his arms, Zhang's husband Mr. Niu Jinping went to the camp, asking to visit his severely injured wife. Meanwhile, he requested that she be let out on bail for medical treatment. He also asked for an explanation as to why his wife had been subjected to such severe violence and demanded the torturers be brought to trial. The camp denied all of his requests with excuses and even made threats to silence Zhang's husband.

Due to the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) suppressive measures against Falun Gong practitioners' attorneys, it is extremely difficult to find an attorney in China willing to represent Falun Gong practitioners in court for the illegal persecution they have suffered.

We are Ms. Zhang Lianying's family members. While Ms. Zhang was imprisoned in Beijing Women's Forced Labor Camp, she was subjected to violence and psychological torture repeatedly. On March 21, 2007, she again suffered brutal violence. She received beatings to both sides of her head, which resulted in a coma. She was taken to Renhe Hospital in Daxing District, Beijing for emergency treatment. During her imprisonment, the camp deprived her of her right to be out on bail for medical treatment, as well as her right to exchange letters with her family, to talk to her family and to meet her family. Her life is in grave danger.

As Ms. Zhang's closest family, we are desperately looking for professional legal assistance. We know that attorneys and legal professionals' code of ethics requires them to protect Chinese citizens' legal rights, uphold justice and defend morality. It is their sworn duty to uphold the dignity of true Chinese laws.

Ms. Zhang Lianying is 46 years old in 2007. She is a CPA and was a mid-level management professional with the Guangda Group in Beijing. Her home address is Apt 203, Unit 2, No. 7 Building, Liufangnanli, Chaoyang District, Beijing.

After Ms. Zhang Lianying began to practice Falun Gong in August 1997, she changed completely for the better. She became physically healthy and her morality improved. She worked hard and rarely complained. She refused to take bribes. Some of her colleagues at the financial department commented, "If only every management staff in the company would practice Falun Gong." After two years of cultivation practice before 1999, her many illnesses gradually disappeared. She rarely took any sick days.

Ms. Zhang followed Falun Gong's teaching. She tried to conduct her speech and behavior according to its principles Truthfulness, Compassion and Tolerance. She not only became healthy, but also became a better person. Once, the company assigned apartments to its employees. Since Ms. Zhang was management, she was supposed to get an apartment of more than 120 square meters. Yet she gave the bigger apartment to another colleague and continued to live in the old small apartment of about 40 square meters.

After the CCP started to openly persecute Falun Gong on July 20, 1999, Ms. Zhang wrote an article sharing her cultivation stories. She wrote the following "The world around me appeared to collapse and good was reversed to bad. My superiors suspended me and demanded I turn in all Falun Gong books. I don't understand this. I am the same person, except that I have learned the true meanings and values of life and am trying to become a better person. Yesterday I was highly praised, but today I am condemned. Aren't they reversing the truth?"

Since then, Ms. Zhang was repeatedly imprisoned because she refused to give up practicing Falun Gong. On June 4, 2005, while Ms. Zhang was looking after her baby daughter, a dozen policemen from Xiangheyuan Police Station in Chaoyang District broke into her home and arrested her without any warrant. Eventually, Ms. Zhang was illegally sentenced to Beijing Women's Forced Labor Camp. On June 30, 2005, Ms. Zhang was brutally abused because she refused to stop practicing Falun Gong. The beating caused bleeding around her eyes, distortion on her face and many large bruises on her body.

On February 27, 2006, when Ms. Zhang was imprisoned in the No. 10 Team of Beijing City Prisoners' Dispatch Center, she was again severely beaten. This time the injury was so severe that she was taken to the hospital for emergency treatment. She was in the hospital for more than 50 days. Her face turned dark purple. There were wounds even on the soles of her feet. Her left leg was terribly swollen. She became bedridden as a result of the severe injuries. On April 20, 2006, Ms. Zhang was transferred to Tiantanghe Women's Forced Labor Camp in Beijing without notifying her family. The dispatch center and the camp tried to hide the abuse she suffered. They cut off all communication between Ms. Zhang and her family - no letters, phone calls or visits.

With their baby daughter in his arms, Ms. Zhang's husband Mr. Niu Jinping went to many places to find his wife's whereabouts. Finally, he learned that Ms. Zhang had suffered atrocious abuses while imprisoned in the dispatch center and the camp. Meanwhile, the international society has expressed its concern for Ms. Zhang. Mr. Edward McMillan-Scott of the European Parliament met with Mr. Niu Jinping in person during his stay in Beijing and investigated facts of the persecution against his family.

Ms. Zhang was incarcerated in the "Intensive Training Team" of the camp. According to insider information, this is the place where those imprisoned suffer the most horrible tortures. They put Falun Gong practitioners in small isolation rooms with no windows. Imprisoned practitioners eat and sleep in the isolation rooms and use a bucket in the room as a toilet. They are completely cut off from the outside world. Being incarcerated in such an inhospitable environment inflicts any normal person with extreme psychological and physical pain. Constant violence makes it worse. One can imagine that a new mother nearly 50 years old, being separated from her baby daughter, must have suffered deep pain and agony!

That's not all. The torturers invented an atrocious torture. They choked her neck with a rope or a ribbon. When Ms. Zhang was about to suffocate, they punched her head violently. But they didn't loosen or untie the rope while punching her!

Facing such inhuman torture, Ms. Zhang protested peacefully by going on a hunger strike, refusing to wear the prison uniform, shouting out loud "Falun Gong is good," and so on. According to an insider, the torturers applied the suffocation-punching torture at least nine times! She lost bladder control twice during this torture.

On the morning of March 20, 2007, the torturers beat up Ms. Zhang again, which resulted in profuse bleeding on both sides of her head. She went into a coma and was taken to Renhe Hospital in Daxing Town, Beijing City before being transferred to Tiantanghe Hospital in Daxing Town. At around 3:30 p.m., a prison guard named Wang from the camp notified Zhang's husband of her injuries and asked him to sign an agreement form before the hospital began the emergency operation. At 5:20 p.m., Zhang's family hurried to the hospital and found Ms. Zhang in a deep coma. They asked a physician named Xue in duty about Zhang's condition. The physician confirmed that Ms. Zhang's was very badly wounded and that it was most likely caused by beatings.

At this time, staff at the camp is in the process of hiding all evidence and to shifting responsibility for the crimes they committed. Ms. Zhang was brutally beaten, but the staff at the camp refuse to allow her out on bail for better medical treatment. The camp does not allow Ms. Zhang's husband and daughter to see her and fails to provide any reasonable explanation of her injuries.

Given the suffering of Ms. Zhang, her family is desperately trying to find the truth and protect Ms. Zhang's legal rights. We are seeking justice. We hope to put those criminals responsible for her condition behind bars. We hope to find two attorneys that are willing to provide legal representation.

(Clearwisdom.net) Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Gao Weixi from Changchun City, Jilin Province was planning to visit his daughter out of town on May 10, 2007. He has been separated from his daughter for eight years; his daughter went to the United States while he was under persecution. On May 9, 2007, he was arrested by police from the Nanguan District Department and Jilin Province Department.

Mr. Gao Weixi's daughter went to the United States in 1999. When her first child was born, her father was illegally detained in a forced labor camp. When her second child was born, her mother was on the Chinese Communist Party's wanted list and had no living resources, and her father was forced to leave home after being released to avoid being arrested again. Mr. Gao's daughter suffered from poor health due to worrying about her parents' safety. She was so eager for this planned family reunion after being separated for eight years, but her father was arrested again.

On May 10, 2007, the family could not find Mr. Gao at the train station like they had planned. They anxiously waited several days for him, but there was no news from him at all. Finally, they went by train to look for him at the house he rented in Changchun City; they found two policemen, who had been living there for several days. The family learned that the officers had already arrested one practitioner (name unknown) who had come to visit Mr. Gao during those past few days. The two policemen were shocked to find his family members and asked them how they knew him. The family members requested to see Mr. Gao, but the policemen said, "We found three big bags of Falun Gong materials in this place. Five books are enough to have him sentenced. Mr. Gao has been detained in the Changchun City Third Detention Center, and once he is sentenced, he will be permitted visits."

It is unknown how severely Mr. Gao is being mistreated in the detention center, and his family is very worried about him.

June 1, 2007

(Clearwisdom.net) Falun Dafa practitioner Zhao Zhongling was killed in Qingyang District People's Hospital in Chengdu City, Sichuan Province on May 5, 2007. In addition, several practitioners in Qingyang District People's Hospital are on hunger strike. One has been on hunger strike for six months (name unknown) and is in critical condition. Practitioner Ms. Huang Min has been on hunger strike for 80 days and is extremely weak. Her family is trying to rescue her.

Police from the Qingyang District Public Security Bureau arrested practitioner Huang Min on the afternoon of March 3, 2007. She has been on hunger strike since day one and is extremely weak. Ms. Huang is detained at Qingyang District People's Hospital. Her ankles are held in black iron shackles. She is being force-fed and infused with drugs.

The Qingyang District Court attempted to sentence Ms. Huang without any legal justification. The responsible court "case" officers, Zhou Lin (cell number is 86-13808011433) and Chengdu City national security officers also participated in the torture of Huang Min.

Ms. Huang is a former deputy director from the Chengdu City Rural Area Enterprises Bureau. She retired in November 2000. She has been persecuted many times for firmly practicing Falun Dafa. In the Sichuan Women's Labor Camp, she suffered 19 months of inhuman torture and was skin and bones because she refused to renounce "Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance."

On the morning of May 19, 2005, police from Funan Police Station, staff from the Qingyang District Public Security Sub-bureau, and officials from the Funan Street Office 610 Office arrested Ms. Huang at the place she had rented. One of the arresting officials was in uniform. He would not allow her to wear socks or change clothes. He covered her head, put handcuffs on her and dragged her along. In the Xinjin 610 Office brainwashing center, five to six people held Huang Min to the ground and force-fed her. She lost one of her teeth and her throat bled from the violent insertion of the tube. Huang Min pulled the tube out. They inserted it again and viciously said: "You keep pulling it out! We will reinsert it again. Either way you will get hurt. Just do it if you are not afraid of pain."

(Clearwisdom.net) Falun Dafa practitioner Zhou Ning is an outstanding teacher in the Shandong Special Education Polytechnic Institute. He suffered repeated persecution and eventually became homeless. The Chinese Communist Party (CCP) did not recognize the school he worked for as the provincial model work unit in 2006, because of the CCP's implication policy. That is why school principal Wang Wen as well as the head of the school's Party committee discharged this outstanding teacher. The excuse was, "Having not returned to work for a long period of time." Mr. Zhou had contributed much to the school and to the education of the disabled. Zhou Ning's right to an assigned apartment was revoked, and it is now occupied by Li Jigang, the vice principal and vice secretary of the Party committee of the school. The details are as follows:

Zhou Ning's craft work

Mr. Zhou Ning, 38, was a teacher in the Arts and Crafts Section, Shandong Province Special Education Polytechnic Institute. He was one of the founders of this section and had been a dean's office director.

When Zhou Ning first came to the newly founded school, he put all his art talent and enthusiasm into teaching the deaf to learn art. He had 28 deaf students who were the first group of students in art and crafts enrolled by the school since the school was founded. It was a real challenge for Zhou Ning due to the communications barrier, and because he had no teaching experiences with the deaf.

However, Mr. Zhou Ning learned sign language in a very short time and overcame the communications barrier. He was exceptionally good at finding a student's potential talent. His rich sign language in the class and the dynamic class atmosphere attracted students. He became more selfless and wise, especially after he began Falun Dafa practice in 1995. The practice seemed to have endowed him with additional teaching ideas. He became even more astute at discovering students' art talents, and he guided them with kindness and helped them to keep their own artistic styles.

In 1996, he and the students reaped their artistic rewards. The graphic advertisement designs his students had created under his guidance were recognized for outstanding achievements in the Shandong Province Advertising Design Exhibition. They earned one gold medal, one silver medal and six bronze medals, which aroused much interest among the experts in the provincial art and crafts schools. That same year, at the Huadong Area Art Exhibition, his students' graphic advertising designs were awarded one bronze medal and seven outstanding medals.

In May 1997, Mr. Zhou Ning arrived in Beijing with the woodcarving artworks that his 28 students had created and held a woodcarving exhibition called "Silent Aspiration" in the China Art Gallery, the top art gallery in China. The exhibition was very successful. The China Art Gallery kept six of these works for their collections, and many experts highly praised these artworks. Some experts were so moved by these artistic creations that they even cried. Many experts and professors in the field of arts wondered how this young teacher with only three years' teaching experience created such a miracle. Falun Dafa had raised Zhou Ning's moral standards and realm. At that time many radio stations, newspapers and magazines reported of this spectacular art exhibition.

In November 1998, the woodcarving works were exhibited in the municipal hall in Copenhagen, Denmark and also gained many favorable comments. In a short three years, the school's reputation was raised high because of Zhou Ning and his students. During that period, Zhou Ning also encouraged and inspired other art teachers in the school. This led to the school's work being exhibited once again in the China Art Gallery, in 1999 and 2000. The two shows were themed "China Roots," an exhibition of fiber arts, and a wax print exhibition. By then the school he worked for had become well known.

Zhou Ning was not only an outstanding teacher but was also highly respected because of his lightheartedness about recognition and personal interest, and for his selflessness in helping others. Prior to 1999 he had been awarded many honors in consecutive years, such as "Outstanding Teacher," "Advanced Personnel," and so on. At the 40th Anniversary of his former school, the "Shandong Institution of Art," Zhou Ning was invited and presented a speech as the representative of the alumni students.

Zhou Ning's first class of students were going to graduate in 1997. Without outside financial support, Zhou Ning and his wife Xiao Yixia (a practitioner as well) founded with their own funds, the "Genuine Expression Modeling Arts and Crafts Workshop," to which several students in the school were recruited. The couple was pioneers, to attempt to educate and find employment for the disabled in arts and crafts fields. Even during the past seven years, when the couple suffered from being persecuted, no matter how hard these instances were, they still followed the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Tolerance and guided the students free of charge, which made these deaf and mute artists gradually mature artistically.

In two short years, from September 1997 to July 20, 1999, they led the students to participate in the 1997 "China Fine Arts Expo, Beijing" in which they won a prize for outstanding works, the 1998 Shenzhen Fine Arts Museum's "Genuine Expression Products Exhibition," the November 1998 "Shanghai International Fine Arts Expo" that attracted extensive attention from proponents of fine arts and those of academia, and as mentioned above, the November 1998 "Genuine Expression Wood Carving Work Exhibition" in the Municipal Hall at Copenhagen, Denmark, which attracted much overseas attention from people in the same field. At present, their works are in the collection of the China Fine Arts Museum, the Shenzhen Fine Arts Museum and many other museums inside and outside of China.

However, the persecution of Falun Dafa began in July 1999. Zhou Ning and his wife believed the persecution was wrong, because Falun Dafa bestowed many benefits and brought no harm to society. The couple started the journey to Beijing in October 1999 to validate Dafa. Zhou Ning's wife Xiao Yixia was then four months pregnant. The couple were separated the night they arrived in Beijing. The pregnant Ms. Xiao Jixia was arrested and detained in a Beijing police station that night and sent to the Qingdao Liaison Office in Beijing the next day. Two days later she went under police escort from the Cangkou District Police Station in Qingdao City to the Baima Police Station in Jinan City. They released her the next day but she was put under school house arrest. Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Zhou Ning was arrested eight days later outside the gate of the Beijing Appeals Bureau by Jinan police and was taken back to Jinan. He was immediately sent to a brainwashing class held in the Jianan's Qixian Town Guest House and was released two weeks later.

Chen Zhili was then the Chinese Minister of Education. With Jiang Zemin's sanctions, this woman forcibly implemented Jiang's policy to persecute Falun Gong adherents employed in China's education systems where persecution was extremely severe. All education branches were required to criticize Falun Gong on a large scale. Teachers and students were compelled to watch videos that slandered Falun Gong. Hatred toward Falun Gong was widely incited. In this environment, everyone must make known one's position on Falun Gong. Shandong Special Education Polytechnic Institute was no exception. A few lawless scoundrels unscrupulously persecuted the practitioners.

At this point the school stopped Zhou Ning from working, and the couple' freedom was restricted. They were required to report to the school and get permission even to leave the campus. In November 1999, when the "Genuine Expression Modeling Arts and Crafts Workshop" was invited to participate in the "Shanghai International Fine Arts Expo," the school assigned other teachers to monitor the couple during their stay in Shanghai, and their activities were reported to the school authorities. When the 2000 Chinese New Year was approaching, a few school leaders cooperated with agents from the Jinan 610 Office to arrest Zhou Ning again. His home was searched. He was locked up in the Liuchangshan Detention Center in Jinan City. His wife Xiao Yixia was by then seven months pregnant. The school also assigned people to go to Zhou Ning's home daily to monitor his wife, putting the pregnant woman under tremendous pressure.

After Zhou Ning was released from the Liuchangshan Detention Center he was under house arrest. He stayed with his parents in Weifang City. His parents were required to monitor him. The school has not paid his salary since, which has now already been seven years. Close to the end of his house arrest, since he still refused to give up his belief, the school cooperated the with the 610 Office. The persecutors were going to arrest Zhou Ning again, but this time in Weifang. Mr. Zhou Ning saw through their plot and managed to escape.

School officials and agents from the 610 Office kept searching for him in Weifang and Qingdao. Zhou Ning made the heavy decision to leave his parents, his wife and their newborn son and go into exile to avoid the persecution.

In 2003, with assistance from an American art collector, the workshop under Zhou Ning and his wife's guidance successfully conducted the "Genuine Expression" wood carving exhibition at the Houston Arts and Craft Center. The local media gave this exhibition extensive coverage. Art specialists and scholars of the arts highly praised the show. Since the inception of the workshop, the Zhou Ning and Xiao Yixia couple have been the subjects of much recognition for their successful educational work with the deaf and mute in the arts disciplines. Some of the media outlets who reported the couple's success include the Shanghai TV Station, Shandong TV Station, Jinan TV Station, the China International Broadcasting Station, Beijing Broadcasting Station, Shandong Broadcasting Station, China Arts News, Arts News, Citizen's Daily, Jinan Daily, Qilu Evening News, Jinan Times, and dozens of other news media.

Mr. Zhu, a renowned Chinese art critic who was also a Chinese art history scholar, artist and professor, appraised the arts and craft works from the couple's workshop with this comment, "It reflects a genuine, honest and simple principle, which is just what the modern artists lacks, but needs." A distinguished international arts critic in the US, Robert C. Morgan, said of their artwork, "The aesthetic grace and nobility in form completely subdued me and strongly touched my feelings. Their artistic expression is far beyond the secular and ordinary art world that I have been subtly influenced by and commonly saw." The internationally known sculpture artist Jesus Moroles had this to say, "When these artworks are present before me, I am shocked by their creative design, mystery of techniques and materials. I am especially surprised to know these remarkable pieces of art are coming from a group of young sculpture artists, most of them being deaf or mute. They combine their ideas, design and workmanship so seamlessly, which really strikes me."

What these foreign artists could never imagine was that the instructor of these deaf and mute artists has been suffering from persecution for several years. Since Wang Wen was appointed principal of the Shandong Special Education Polytechnic Institute as well as head of the school's Party committee, this woman has made use of the special education privileges for her own personal interest and to make money using all kinds of means. Although she was not good at managing a school and was financially corrupt, she actively persecutes Falun Gong with all her power. As mentioned above, in late 2006, Wang Wen discharged Mr. Zhou Ning, citing the circumstance that Zhou Ning had not been working in the school for a long time. Information of Zhou Ning's dismissal has so far not yet been openly announced among the schoolteachers.

Most insidiously, Wang Wen used illegal and despicable ways to take over Zhou Ning's 120-square-meter (1,291 sq. feet) house. They removed Zhou Ning's furniture and household goods from the house by force. The house is now occupied by the vice principal as well as the vice head of the school's Party Committee Li Jigang. Zhou Ning's family thus became homeless.

"Silent Aspiration" wood crafting exhibition was held in the China Fine Arts Museum. The exhibition showed the artworks from Zhou Ning's students, the first batch of graduate students from Shandong Special Education Polytechnic. Six of the artworks were collected by the museum.

Mr. Qi Mingli, a Falun Dafa practitioner, was taken from Jinzhou Forced Labor Camp, where he had been detained for three years, and sent to Luotaizhuan Brainwashing Center in Fushun City for further persecution. He was taken there by people from Nanhu Police Station in Shenyang City and the Shenyang 610 Office. He went on a hunger strike for 10 days and was released on May 9, 2007, after becoming very weak.

Qi Mingli's three-year sentence was due to end on May 1, 2007, but at 9 a.m., on April 24, 2007, Zhang Chunfeng, the political instructor from the No.2 Team in Jinzhou Forced Labor Camp, went to see Mr. Qi. Zhao Hai, a "Four Defense" member, and lied to him, saying that his family had come to visit him. The two then took Mr. Qi to the reception room on the 2^nd floor. Once there, Zhang Pixiang replaced Zhao Hai and escorted Mr. Qi out the door. At that point, another male approached and asked Mr. Qi, "What's the matter with your leg?" Mr. Qi replied, "It happened as a result of being tortured in the forced labor camp."

A van was parked alongside the building and surrounded by a few regular inmates. Someone told Mr. Qi to get into the van. Mr. Qi asked, "Who are you? Do you have any identification?" Someone among them asked Qi, "Where are you from?" Mr. Qi said he was a resident of Shenyang, and refused to get in to the van.

Zhou Changjian, the Director of the Forced Labor Camp, then told them to produce their ID cards so Mr. Qi could see them, but nobody responded. After a few moments of deadlock, Zhou ordered people from the camp to push Mr. Qi into the van. Mr. Qi was shouting loudly, "Falun Dafa is wonderful!" Straight away, a couple of them held both of Mr. Qi's arms tightly. Mr. Qi asked, "Where are you taking me? One person replied, "We'll find a new place for you, which is much better than this one. It's a three-star hotel where we are going to brainwash you." Mr. Qi immediately replied, "You want to brainwash me? Okay, I was thinking about persuading you to quit the Party!"

That person then slapped Mr. Qi's face with a lot of force. Mr. Qi stood up immediately to try to stop him from hitting again, an evil act. The other person was scared and withdrew his hand immediately. Another person was pointing at Mr. Qi and talking nonsense; Mr. Qi also stopped him. The person who beat Mr. Qi then shamelessly said, "That's because we 'love' you."

Two of the "Four Defense" members, Li Bo and Wang Dejun, who had been guarding Qi Mingli, took his baggage and living necessities to the van, where seven people were already inside. One of them was a woman. Zhang asked for Mr. Qi's home phone number, and told him it was so they could notify his family. One police officer sitting in the van said it was not necessary, and that they would notify his family when he arrived at his new place. As the van approached the exit of the forced labor camp, a female warden also got in the van. She only stayed until they got to a printing shop, where she did some photocopying and then gave the copies to the people sitting in the van.

While in the van, Mr. Qi had been asking who his captors were and demanded they produce their IDs. A police officer in uniform, surnamed He, didn't dare reveal his identity. He asked Mr. Qi who had helped him to get his Hukou (domicile residence) in the Heping District. Throughout the journey Mr. Qi clarified the truth about Falun Gong and informed them of the persecution he had suffered over the past few years. He tried to persuade them not to commit any crimes against Dafa practitioners anymore, and also tried to talk to them all about the "Three Withdrawals" (resigning from the CCP and its affiliated organizations). He asked them to release him immediately. They didn't listen to him; instead, the officer who beat Mr. Qi said to him viciously, "Others don't know how a person like you is killed."

As the van approached Fushun City, all of a sudden one of the tires became flat. As they were changing the tire, Mr. Qi again tried to persuade them to release him by saying, "This is to warn you not to persecute me further. I hope you can drive me home." They didn't listen to him, so he insisted in getting out of the van. They then forced both of his arms behind his back and began to twist his wrists and press hard on them. At the same time, they kicked Mr. Qi's leg very violently; one even began to curse him. They didn't release his hand for a long time.

At around 3 or 4 p.m. they arrived at Luotaishanzhuang Brainwashing Center. When Mr. Qi got out of the van, he could barely walk. As they escorted him into the Brainwashing Center someone noticed his physical condition. One female from the center said, "His physical condition is very poor and he is still on a hunger strike; we can't accept someone like that." They checked his blood pressure and asked some simple questions about his physical condition. Then they left him in the room alone.

After a while, some people returned and took him to a room on the 2^nd floor. Mr. Qi asked what had happened to the people who came with him, and was told that they had gone. He also requested to make a phone call to his family.

In order to resist the persecution, Mr. Qi began another hunger strike and clarified the truth to people from Luotaishanzhuang, hoping they would relay the true situation to Nanhu Police Station in Shenyang City and to the relevant departments. People from Luotaishanzhuang said that since he was sick, they wouldn't accept him. On April 30, Luotaishanzhuang took him to Fushun No.3 Hospital for a medical check-up. The doctor said that because of his leg, he needed to stay in the hospital for further observation and medical treatment. The doctor said his wound could spread disease, so he needed to be isolated. The people from Luotaishanzhuang said that as it was the "May 1" holiday, so it wasn't a good time to try to get in touch with people from Shenyang City. They tried to talk Mr. Qi into eating, promising him that they would get in touch with them after the long holidays. But Mr. Qi said, "I could believe your promise, but who will promise you that they won't persecute me" and still insisted on their releasing him.

On May 3, 5, 6, and 7, people from the brainwashing center took Mr. Qi to Fushun No.3 Hospital for force-feeding. At 3 p.m., on May 8, they notified his family to urgently come and collect him. Shenyang Nanhu Police Station, Luotaishanzhuang Brainwashing Center, and other relevant departments were also informed.

By May 8, 2007, Mr. Qi had been on hunger strike for 10 days. He was very weak, and needed people to help him walk. At 9:30 p.m., members of his family, people from Nanhu Police Station, and other relevant departments arrived at Luotaizhuang Brainwashing Center. When his family saw his physical condition, they were very worried and began to question the others there. "Why was such a kindhearted person persecuted to this extent? You've asked us to take him home; what can we tell the rest of his family? What if on our way home, he dies, who will take the responsibility? You must send someone to take him back." When people from Nanhu Police Station saw his condition, they became terrified and said, "We can't dispatch anybody." His family members said, "Since you got him here, how come you can't take him back? What are you afraid of?" So officials from Luotaishanzhuang, the Nanhu Police Station and relevant departments of Shenyang City began to hold meetings to discuss the matter.

It was not until 2 a.m. on May 9 that they finally reached an agreement. Two people were to be dispatched from Luotaishanzhuang Brainwashing Center to take him back to Jinzhou City, while Shenyang City Nanhu Police Station would take care of the expense. Qi Mingli finally arrived home at 7 a.m., on May 9.

As a matter of fact, for Qi to have been transferred to the brainwashing center was well planned by people from Jinhou Forced Labor Camp and Shenyang City Nanhu Police Station.

1. Towards the end of March, guard Zhao Yongli asked Mr. Qi where his Hukou and local police station were, with the excuse that it was required when preparing paperwork for his release.
2. In mid-April, Zhao visited Qi's Hukou and asked who dealt with setting up his Hukou for him. The questions he asked were the same as that of police officer He, who was in the van when Mr. Qi was transferred to the brainwashing center.
3. On April 28, while in the labor camp, Liaoyang practitioner Weng Hongjun asked Li Songtao, head of the 2^nd brigade, to call at Weng's home to let them know what time to collect him. Weng also told Li that Mr. Qi also wanted to call home to tell them when he would be released. Li said it was not necessary for Mr. Qi to ring home, as his mother-in-law had called just a few days before, and he had told her to come pick him up on May 1. When he heard this Mr. Qi looked disconcerted. The following day Mr. Qi was taken to the brainwashing center.
4. On May 1, members of his family went to the forced labor camp with the intention of collecting him, but to no avail. The guards had deceived them by saying that Mr. Qi had been taken away for shouting, "Down with the CCP" (even though he didn't). When Mr. Qi's family went to Li's home to inquire about this, Li gave them the excuse that since he didn't go to work that day, he didn't know anything about it.

Practitioner Ms. Zhu Shuyun, 46, from Nong'an City, Jilin Province, was illegally arrested by police officers in Changchun on May 9, 2007. Because Ms. Zhu refused to give her name, she was badly beaten by officers from the police station in Balibao, Changchun City. As a result, she was disfigured and could not be recognized. Ms. Zhu Shuyun is detained at the Third Detention Center in Shuanyang.

On the evening of May 4, 2007, practitioners Mr. Meng Xiangchen and Ms. Liu Qinghua from Siping City were arrested by policemen Zhang Chongtu and Pang Xuefeng of the police station in Maojiadian Town, Changtu County, Liaoning Province.

On April 30, 2007, practitioners Ms. Chen Shuwen and Ms. Wang Xiaofen, about 50, were reported and subsequently arrested. They were detained for ten days at the police bureau in Hejian City. On May 11, they were sentenced to imprisonment. Ms. Chen would not cooperate with the unreasonable demands of the guards and went on a hunger strike to protest the persecution.

On May 15, 2007, Mr. Zhou Feng, a practitioner from Xishui, was arrested. His whereabouts are unknown.

In May 2007, Ms. Yang Shufen was arrested in Wuhan and her whereabouts are unknown.

Ms. Yang Yunhua, Mr. Li Zhengwen, Ms. Zhou Qi, and Ms. Guo Chunliu were detained at the First Detention Center of Xishui. Authorities attempted to bring the case to trial twice but failed to openly sentence the practitioners.

In May 2007, agents Liu He and Liu Shibin of the 610 Office in Jianxi District, Luoyang City, Henan Province, held a brainwashing session at the hotel of the Luoyang Axletree Factory. Six practitioners were arrested: Mr. Wang Zhansheng, Mr. Lei Zhouhe, Mr. Duan Dazhong, Ms. Qiao Luanying, Ms. Wu Gaimei, and Ms. Di.

Practitioner Ms. Luo Hongchun from Yuexi County, Liangshan Area was reported for clarifying the truth. She was arrested by officers of the Police Bureau of Yuexi County, and sentenced to four years of forced labor.

Ms. Wang Kaibi is forty years old. On December 14, 2006, officers of the Police Bureau of Cangxi County and the local police station, along with three villagers, broke into Ms. Wang's house and arrested her. They took her to the Cangxi County Detention Center and detained her there for two months. Ms. Wang began a hunger strike to protest the persecution. The 610 Office in Guangyuan City sentenced her to one year of forced labor. She is detained at the Seventh Team of the Nanmusi Women's Forced Labor Camp in Zizhong City, Sichuan Province. Ms. Wang was persecuted so severely that she suffered a mental breakdown and became emaciated.

Practitioners Ms. Wang Lanying and Ms. Wu Fengyun from Nanpiao District of Huludao City, Liaoning Province went out to distribute truth-clarification materials in Shenjiatai Town, Linghai City. They were discovered by local patrolling villagers and taken to the police station in Shenjiatai. They are held in the Linghai City Detention Center.

Practitioner Mr. Tian Baodong from Niuzhuang Town, Haicheng City was arrested on August 24, 2006. He was later sentenced to two years of forced labor. He has been detained at the Anshan City Forced Labor Camp for almost one year. Because he refused to be "transformed," the guards will not allow Mr. Tian's family members to visit him. Mr. Tian has often been detained in a "small cell" (1) and he has become terribly thin because of the persecution.

On the evening of April 12, 2007, officers of the police bureau of Pengshan County, Sichuan Province, arrested practitioners Mr. Wang Maolin, over 70, and Mr. Chen Guojian, over 40, at their homes. They are detained at the Pengshan County Detention Center.

Mr. Chen Guojian went to Beijing twice to validate the Fa, in February 2000 and at the beginning of 2001. He was detained and sentenced to four years of imprisonment.

Practitioner Ms. Gao Cuiyun was arrested for distributing truth-clarification materials. She was sentenced to three years of imprisonment and detained at the Tianjin Women's Prison.

Ms. Gong Wenyu was arrested by officers of the Tiyuanbei Police Station in Tianjin City. She was sentenced to three years of imprisonment and is detained at the Tianjin Women's Prison.

Ms. Fang Huizhe was arrested by officers of the Tiyuanbei Police Station and is detained at the Dongting Road Detention Center in Hexi District, Tianjin City.

From May 10 to 12, officers of the police bureau of Miyi County plotted and arrested practitioners Mr. Wang Jian, Mr. Gao Longyu, Ms. Jiang Yilan, Ms. Peng Kaiju, Ms. Yu Lan, Mr. Xiao You, Mr. Hu Guangxian, and Mr. Xiong Zefu. They also confiscated Dafa books and other items from the practitioners' homes.

At around 10:00 a.m. on May 10, 2007, officer Li Xuesong of the National Security Team and security staff member Yang Yingkun of Baima Town ransacked Li Guangfu's home and confiscated Zhuan Falun and other items.

At about 8:00 p.m. on April 20, 2007, while a practitioner was walking, suddenly two undercover policemen jumped out of a white van and took the practitioner to the Jiadong Police Station. Afterwards, the head of police station and two other policemen went to ransack the home of the practitioner.

Practitioner Ms. Wang Yajun, over 50, lives on Jianshe Street in Changchun City. She was arrested on May 15, 2007 and detained at the Third Detention Center of Shuangyang.

Practitioner Mr. Wu Rongbo from Jilin City is thirty-four years old. On May 10, 2007, when he was distributing truth-clarification materials at the Jilin City Railway Station, he was arrested. He was sentenced to one year of imprisonment and taken to Baishan Prison.

On April 20, 2007, when Mr. Tang Hao, a practitioner from Zhuzhou City, was returning to his apartment, he was arrested by police officers of the Shifeng Police Sub-Bureau. On April 22, Mr. Tang was detained at the First Detention Center of Zhuzhou City. Family visits were not allowed.

On March 19, 2007, when Ms. Wang Taojing, a practitioner from Gaojiazhuang, Yinzhu Town, Jiaonan City, Shandong Province, was clarifying the truth about Falun Dafa to villagers of Douyazi Village, she was reported (the reporter received a reward of five hundred yuan). Ms. Wang was arrested by officers of Yinzhu Town Police Station. She was taken to Jinan Forced Labor Camp for a two-year term.

In mid May 2007, when two female practitioners were clarifying the truth around the Kangju residential area of Jinzhou, they were reported by a resident and arrested. They are detained at the Sanli Detention Center of Jinzhou.

On the evening of May 9, 2007, officials from the Guojiadian Town Government, Laizhou City, Shandong Province, and policemen from the Guojiadian Police Station rushed to Mataishi Village and arrested practitioners Mr. Wang Hongju and Ms. Liu Meixia. The officers took away a satellite antenna from Mr. Wang and a TV, VCD and satellite dish from Ms. Liu. The practitioners are detained at the Dianzi Brainwashing Center in Laizhou City.

On May 9, 2006, after practitioner Ms. Li Ji'nan from Kunshan City, Jiangsu Province returned home from the Nanjing Women's Prison, she was monitored at all times. The Kunshan City government did not allow Ms. Li to go back to work. She left home to avoid further persecution. Her whereabouts are not known.

On April 23, 2007, practitioner Mr. Zhang Xumin was arrested by police officers from Feicheng. On May 15, officers of the Feicheng Police Bureau, National Security Team, and 610 Office arrested Mr. Zhang's wife, Ms. Liu Qian, and their daughter, a high school senior. They were detained at the Feicheng Detention Center and brutally persecuted.

On April 15, 2007, practitioner Ms. Li Xiuyun from Boshan District of Zibo City was arrested by 610 Office agents and policemen from the Shantou Police Station. Her home was ransacked and the police took away her computer, printer, and cash.

On May 5, another practitioner in Boshan District was arrested and two practitioners had to leave home to avoid persecution.

On May 16, practitioner Mr. Qu Kean had to leave home to avoid persecution.

31. [Sichuan Province] Practitioner Li Ming Arrested AgainPractitioner Mr. Li Ming is thirty-five years old. He lives in Zhulin Village of Sichuan University and graduated from the economy department of Sichuan University in 1995.

Since October 2000, because Mr. Li went to appeal for Falun Dafa and clarified the truth, he has been arrested twice and taken to the Xinhua Forced Labor Camp in Mianyang City. He was detained at the forced labor camp for three years and seven months and suffered from inhumane persecution there. In January 2005, he was released.

In 2005, Mr. Li clarified the truth about Falun Dafa and was taken to the Wuhou District Brainwashing Center. Later, he left with righteous thoughts.

On May 19, 2007, when Mr. Li went outside, he was arrested by officers of the Security Division of Sichuan University. Officers of the Wangjiang Police Station at Sichuan University ransacked his home. Mr. Li was detained at the Jinhua Brainwashing Center in Wuhou District, Chengdu City.

At 9:40 a.m. on May 21, 2007, when practitioner Mr. Li Zhigao was working at the senior's room of Tieren Second Village, he was handcuffed by seven or eight police officers and arrested.

On May 19, 2007, when practitioner Mr. Huang Chaowu was clarifying the truth, he was reported and subsequently arrested at home by officers from the Matou Police Sub-bureau in Ruichang City. In the police sub-bureau, Mr. Huang was beaten by officers and his cuffed hands were left bleeding.

Mr. Huang Chaowu is detained at the Wanbaoshan Detention Center in Ruichang City.

(Clearwisdom.net) A "solemn declaration" is a person's public statement declaring to the world that whatever he or she has done or said under duress or deception that was against Falun Dafa is null and void. Most of these statements have come from Falun Dafa practitioners in China who wished to express regret that, in the face of physical torture and brainwashing, they had signed documents renouncing Dafa and guaranteeing not to practice again. Also, as more and more people in China learn the truth about how they have been deceived and lied to by the Jiang regime, many non-practitioners are also submitting "solemn declarations."

In the afternoon of March 19, 2007, the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) Ministry of Public Security held a meeting with direct subordinates present, where Zhou Yongkang gave further direction concerning the suppression of Falun Gong. Immediately after, a new round of persecution of practitioners throughout China ensued. This is a clear indication that the CCP's final days are on the horizon.

Jilin was assigned as key region for the suppression during the Ministry of Public Security meeting. The Province's public security staff devised persecution plans without delay:

1. Investigate all Falun Gong practitioners who had been persecuted and who have a record.
2. Have spies infiltrate Falun Gong groups throughout the state, including villages, townships, districts and streets.
3. Allocate 80,000,000 yuan to maintain tighter controls over the Internet and telephone.

In the afternoon of May 9, 2007, plainclothes police arrested 38 practitioners in the Erdao District, Changchun City, Jilin Province. Police and staff from the Changchun City police, police branch at Erdao District and Changchun Public Security went to arrest practitioners. The Jilin Province Public Security Department staff were the initiators behind the new round of arrests. They used more than 10 police cars and close to 50 unmarked cars. Practitioners were interrogated and tortured during the night without any legal process.

Afterwards, the CCP expanded their list and ransacked more houses in every district of the city. A total of more than 50 practitioners were arrested, including pregnant women. It has not stopped as of date.

In the afternoon of April 29, when Luo Gan, one of the lead persecutors went to Hebei, police at Shenze County, Shijiazhuang City were given orders by 610 Office staff from the city and the province. Under the direction of provincial 610 officers, police stations in all counties and towns began a large scale arrest of practitioners. More than 10 people, including Mr. Ma Tongxin, were arrested and their family property was confiscated. Some people were forced into homelessness.

As rumors claim, this large scale arrest was triggered by an article from a reporter who attended the Hebei Province meeting. During the Chinese New Year, this person saw on streets in Xinze banners such as "Dafa Practitioners Wishing Everyone Happy New Year" and "Truth, Compassion, Forbearance." He reported it to Ba Keming, the provincial party committee secretary. Ba ordered the immediate arrest of practitioners living in the Xinze area. They also posted an urgent notice from the Shijiazhuang Party Committee: "All officials of all levels are to search and arrest practitioners until the end of September."

In Daqing, during the approach of the holidays or vacations, officials are getting bonuses for persecuting practitioners. From April 21 to 26, police in Daqing ignored the angry people who witnessed their actions, and arrested more than 20 practitioners in broad daylight. Before this, they investigated these practitioners and contacted their work units. Many local officials said, "Falun Gong practitioners are good people. This is not our duty, but nonsense from upper 610 Office officials. They will pay for what they did."

Corrupt police arrested practitioners and confiscated their property without showing any proper identification. They refused to identify themselves and robbed valuable items from practitioners' homes. When some people chastised them, they said, "So what? What can you do to us? If you say one more word we will get you too!" And they extorted money from practitioners openly, "Give us 20,000 yuan and we will let you go. Or you can get us a second-hand car." The police in Daqing are seen by the locals as being the true destabilizing factor in society.

From April 10 to 17, staff from the Yantai 610 Office arrested 8 practitioners and took them to a brainwashing center. Among them were two elderly people and a newly married young man whose wife is three months pregnant. They arrested Mr. Yu Haiyong and his family wherever they were, including at school and at work. They even arrested his 7-year-old son. This was planned by Gao You, Zhang Chunjie, Liu Guoyue, and others from the Tantai 610 Office. Staff from the Zhifu Public Security Bureau, and police from the Haiyang City Police Station, Xidajie Police Station, as well as staff from the residents' committee, and the Yantai Military District were those who did the dirty work of arresting practitioners.

There was no brainwashing center serving the Yantai 610 Office in the Fushan, Laishan and Zhifu districts. The brainwashing center in the Zhifu District is located on the 3rd floor of the Xingfu Courtyard. It was established in 2002. Several hundred practitioners have been imprisoned there. Among the practitioners who are currently detained are Sun Yuhua, an elderly family member of ex-vice commander of the Yantai Military District. He has been on a hunger strike for 8 days to protest his illegal arrest. Police officers, including Liu Guoyao, violently force-fed him and almost broke Mr. Sun's teeth. Ms. Yu Haiyong had been shackled to an iron bed for 23 hours. In the early morning of May 4, in an attempt to escape the persecution, some practitioners jumped from the 3rd floor. Several people were injured. The police refused to release any information about the injured.

Around 12:30 a.m. on April 12, a few dozen practitioners in Benxi were secretly arrested, including two 80-year-old practitioners. The perpetrators entered their homes by breaking doors or windows. They did not show any identification and robbed the practitioners in the process. We have heard that the practitioners are detained at Gongren Police Station, Dabailou Detention Center and in the women's prison that was recently built at the end of the Benxi Bridge, just to detain practitioners.

Since the exposure of organ harvesting from living Falun Gong practitioners in March of last year, the entire world is in shock. The Coalition to Investigate the Persecution of Falun Gong (CIPFG) has set up branches on all four continents. An international effort has begun to investigate the crimes. As of now, at least 55 lawsuits have been filed against Jiang Zemin and Luo Gan. With more than 22 million people withdrawing from the CCP and its affiliated organizations, Chinese people are waking up and the death knell for the CCP is ringing.

With the changes in the overall situation, less and less people are willing to participate in the persecution. More and more people have chosen to make amends and save themselves. Whatever crazy acts the CCP will show to the world, it cannot save itself from its death. Just the opposite happens -- it awakens more people's conscience and hastens the death of the CCP.

Clearwisdom has published many truthful stories about those individuals receiving retribution for their evildoing in the persecution of Falun Gong. These are warnings from heaven. All those committing evil will be punished. We are not saying this to just frighten people! We warn those who are still participating in the evil acts, "Stop it before it's too late. Consider the future of yourself and your family members!"

We sincerely hope that all kind people around the world will do whatever they can to help stop the CCP's persecution of Falun Gong practitioners. Please help eliminate the evil and protect justice. Please help destroy the evil CCP and return peace to the families that are suffering from the persecution.

(Clearwisdom.net) On June 3, Taiwan Infotimes reported the announcement about New Tang Dynasty Television's (NTDTV) International Chinese Classical Dance Competition. The article said that NTDTV will hold an international Chinese classical dance competition in early July and the champion of each competition division will win a prize of $10,000.

To encourage dance experts in Taiwan to participate in this grand occasion, the article said that the hosting organization is holding an informational meeting at the Taipei County Government office. Li Youjun, Deputy Director of the Art and Culture Department of NTDTV's Asia-Pacific bureau, said that the competition will be broadcast worldwide through the station's five satellites, reaching about 20 million people.

All dance teachers and dancers from professional arts academies and dance troupes, and dance instructors, dancers, and dance students from professional dance schools between the ages of 14 - 40 may register and participate. The age limits of the competition are as follows: Junior Division: age 14 - 17; the Adult Division: age 18 - 40.

For each gender per division, one Gold award of $10,000 will be awarded; one Silver award of $3,000 will be awarded; and two Bronze awards will be awarded, $1,000 per person.

The competition will be held in Manhattan from July 6 to 8. A Mom who was jailed and tortured in a Beijing labour camp for practicing a faith that is illegal in China has been released and has returned to Islington.

Annie Yang, 44, was sent to prison in her native China in March 2005 for following the spiritual  movement Falun Gong.

Her refusal to renounce her beliefs - even going on hunger strike - led to punishments including sitting on a high stool for more than 18 hours, forbidden from moving at all.

She was also starved, deprived of sleep and denied water and the right to wash herself and her clothes.

"I'm still recovering," said Mrs Yang, who is now living in Brownswood Road, Finsbury Park, and taking a computer course at City and Islington College.

"For a long period after I was released from the labour camp I had difficulty walking. I walked slower than my parents who are over 70 years old."

Now she has returned to London, and has been granted residency, Mrs Yang has spoken of the ordeal.

"My hair turned white," she said. "My mental status reached the edge of total collapse...."

Formerly an antiques dealer, Mrs Yang made regular business trips from Beijing to Islington. Her friend Agnes Wilton, a trader in Camden Passage, Islington, led a campaign for Mrs Yang's release.

Mrs Yang said: "I have no regrets. Falun Gong is good for your mind and body. In the camp they try to destroy your belief but I never gave up that belief."

(Clearwisdom.net) In a letter to Muhan Chen on May 28, 2007, Kay Elson, a Member of Parliament in Australia, expressed her concern about Muhan Chen's mother, Ms. Zeng Aihua, a Falun Gong practitioner jailed in the Women's Prison in Shanghai. The following is the letter:

Thank you for entrusting me to help your Mother's situation in the Shanghai prison. I was saddened to read of her plight and will do my best to assist you.

Ms. Zeng Aihua was illegally arrested in May 2006. Her family cannot contact her and all the letters they have written to her have been blocked by the prison authorities. Ms. Zeng developed high blood pressure (210/110 mmHg) one week after being arrested. The prison refused to release any information on Ms. Zeng to her family and does not allow her family members to visit her. Ms. Zeng's daughter, Muhua Chen, wrote to Members of Parliament in Australia for help.

(Clearwisdom.net) On June 3, 2007, citizens from Yilan County, Hualien County and Taitung County in Taiwan held a rally and parade to support 22 million withdrawals from the CCP. Two van tours took off from Yilan and Taitung, and joined in Hualien. Attendees held a press conference in front of the City Council Plaza in Hualien. At 11:50, attendees started a car-parade along Chungcheng St., Chungshan St., Chunghua St, train station and Dehsing Stadium.

Mr. Chen Kuofeng, a doctor from Yilan County, expressed that the CCP is not the same as China, and the CCP ruined the traditional Chinese culture. He pointed out that all the tyrant powers in history crashed down finally, including the communist powers in Russia and Europe. He said the CCP is about to die since more than 22 million Chinese people have quit the party and he called upon more people to join them.

Professor Wang Tingsheng from Tunghua University, a former congressman, came to support the activity. He expressed that Falun Gong practitioners' anti-persecution activities are righteous and he has attended the anti-organ-harvesting activities. He was proud that so many people came to support the withdrawals from the CCP. He said, "We are here today to tell the Chinese Government that the brutal persecution must stop. The CCP's brutality will bring disaster to China." He expressed that through the anti-persecution activities, the attendees are contributing to peace in China.

Ms. Chen Huiru, a lawyer from Yilan County, was glad to have a chance to support the withdrawals from the CCP. She expressed that she has been concerned about the persecution of Falun Gong, which is against international laws. She expressed that the CCP's wicked behaviors must be stopped and the CCP will soon collapse. She called upon the attendees to punish the murderers involved in the persecution with laws.

Mr. Hong Tunghsiang, the principal of Huideng High School in Yilan, expressed that the activity is very encouraging. He said that every educator should know about the CCP's evil nature. He said that people should not let a government, which violates human rights and harvests organs from living people, to hold the Olympic Games. He called upon people in the education communities to help stop the CCP's persecution.

Ms. Huang Jinding had worked in Mainland China for four years. He experienced a lot of the CCP's illegal behaviors. He said that many Taiwanese businessmen have lost money or even went bankrupt due to the CCP's illegal behaviors. He pointed out that more and more people now recognize the CCP's nature. He predicted that the number of withdrawals will increase and the CCP will collapse soon.

Mr. Liu Chuohao, the former deputy mayor of Taitung, sent his representative, Mr. Lin Kaowen, to support the rally. He expressed that people should not be deceived by the economic development in China and should not ignore its human rights problems. Democracy in China is far from being realized, since people don't have the basic freedom of belief or speech. He expressed that the CCP is like a bomb and will bring disaster to the world, so the action of quitting the party is actually the salvation of peace in the world.

Mr. Lai Hsinjie, vice president of Citizen Association in Hualien, also came to support the activity.

The attendees expressed that the activity will help more Taiwanese to recognize the nature of the CCP. The peace of China can only be realized if the CCP is gone.

(Clearwisdom.net) By the end of May 2007, more than 22 million Chinese people had quit the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its affiliated organizations. To support the withdrawals and call upon more people to quit the CCP, the Service Center for Quitting the Party in Queensland, Australia held an activity titled "Courage Great Wall" at Chinatown in Brisbane. Falun Gong practitioners from Brisbane attended the activity, and exposed the CCP's persecution of Falun Gong and the harvesting of organs from living practitioners in China.

Volunteers from the service center and Falun Gong practitioners held up many banners and passed out materials to expose the persecution and call for help to stop the persecution.

At noon, many Chinese tourists came to Chinatown and many of them looked at the banners and display boards and took photos. Local people also showed their support to Falun Gong practitioners.

In mainland China, the high school entrance exam is an unified exam which is held annually. The exam is only inferior to the college entrance examination and very important. A good high school is a key part to getting into a good university. As a child, he dared to speak out his opinion against the corrupt authorities at the important moment that might decide his destiny. His courage is extraordinary.

China is among the four countries with ancient civilizations. Let's talk about people's morals and behavior first. In ancient times, people held in esteem treating others the way you would like to be treated. Later, the Spirit of Lei Feng (December 18, 1940 - August 15, 1962, a soldier of the People's Liberation Army of the PRC. He was characterized by propaganda as a selfless and modest figure after his death and consequently was an idol to many) is praised. In modern times, people believe that it is every man for himself, and the devil takes the hindmost. Let's think that over carefully. Has humanity's moral standard improved or retrogressed?

People are unwilling to acknowledge the degeneration of human beings; they instead focus on the surface issue. They think science is so advanced, and living conditions are enhancing. Nonetheless, have they deeply evaluated their own thoughts? Do they realize that we are facing a series of environmental problems initiated by "the greenhouse effect" which has been brought about by science?

In modern China, officials collude with businessmen; politicians and bandits integrate into one body; people do things willfully and selfishly; science brings about negative influences; morals degenerate rapidly. Do we really think that such a society is good? Actually, in comparison, spiritual civilization is more important, and it is the most precious possession of a state.

Fortunately, there are people around me that believe in Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance. The three simple Chinese characters, whether understood from a literal sense or from a moral point of view, must be respected by anyone who is true to their conscience. Is it not good to speak the truth? Is it not good to be compassionate? Is it not good to be forbearing? The three characters teach people to be kindhearted in society, the workplace, school, and in the family. Since they are governed by Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance, they would look inwards to find their shortcomings when met with obstacles. I believe their existence has many advantages and no drawbacks for our society.

To be trustworthy, one must speak the truth. Only with compassion and sincerity can one truly forbear other people's shortcomings. The value of forbearance does not need to be explained. If no one is tolerant, how can our state develop? If the people have no faith in their rulers, there is no loyalty to the state. If the people have no virtues, they will have no gains. From them, I learned and deeply realized the harmony and difference of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance which is humanity's spiritual prop and valuable possession.

We cannot blindly follow the guidance of public opinion, and we must distinguish between truth and falsehoods, good and harmful, with our own minds. We not only need to learn the spirit of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance from them, but what's more, learn to be as harmonious as they are.

I joined the telephone truth-clarification group after the publication of the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party. With help from fellow practitioners, I participated in activities to spread the Nine Commentaries and to promote quitting the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). Beginning in September 2006, I used the phone almost every day to clarify the truth and urge the people of mainland China to quit the CCP for the sake of their own safety. So far I have successfully persuaded over 500 people to withdraw. During the course of truth-clarification, I have faced people's different attitudes and questions. I keep on studying the Fa and strengthening my righteous thoughts to maintain a peaceful state of mind. At the same time, I have studied the Nine Commentaries again and again. I have also tried to learn related information and gain knowledge from Dafa websites. All this preparation has enabled me to respond from appropriate angles to the questions people ask, therefore helping them learn the truth.

The purpose of making telephone calls regarding individual persecution cases is to shock the evil, as well to help the practitioners who are being persecuted. Furthermore, this is also to save the evildoers from committing more bad deeds that could result in karmic retribution. I often call to clarify the truth to the police officers in China and persuade them to quit the CCP. One police officer arrested and extorted money and other belongings from a practitioner. I kept calling this officer for three days. His sister answered the phone and I asked, "Do you know why I called?" She replied, "Falun Dafa practitioners are calling people all around." I said, "This is for your own good. The gods will eliminate the CCP. You should quit the Party to have a future. However, today my main focus is to solve the issue of your brother arresting practitioners. Your brother is not only on the blacklist of wicked people, he is also numbered in hell. Isn't this scary? Do you go on the Internet? The heads of the 610 Office who persecute practitioners - so many of them have ended up receiving karmic retribution. In Xi County in Shandong Province, Yu Chang Liang, who persecuted practitioners, was killed in a car accident. You can call to confirm this. I have called and confirmed that this is true." The officer's sister said, "I know about this." Then I said, "Since you know about this, you should persuade your brother to stop persecuting Falun Gong practitioners. In China there are many good police officers who treat practitioners well. Practitioners have never mistreated any of you. Why is it that you want to hurt other people and end up receiving karmic retribution?" She said, "I know now. Please do not call again." I said, "I do not mean to bother you. I spent the time and money to call you these many times because I hope your brother will treat practitioners with kindness and quit the Party soon and have a future." She replied, "Good, good."

The officers of one police station arrested four practitioners once. I called them for two days. Several police officers answered the phone. Once, they thought we were disconnected and I heard them say, "She mentioned this person's name (the arrested practitioner)." This showed they are very scared of the persecution being exposed to the public. In the end, an officer brought the head of the police station to the phone. I asked, "Are you the head of the police station? Do not persecute practitioners anymore. This is too sinful. Do you go on the Internet? There are many cases showing bad people receiving karmic retribution. I then told the story of the man who was killed in Shandong Province. He said, "Do you believe in this?" I answered, "Of course I believe it. I will give you a phone number to confirm this." I then continued to talk about the end of the Cultural Revolution. Policemen who conducted the killing of people were secretly sentenced to death. I also told him of the fossil carved with the words, "It is deemed by the gods that the CCP will be eliminated" in Ping Tang County of Guizhou Province. The head of the police station then followed my advice and quit the CCP.

2. Do not miss the opportunity to save people who have predestined relationships

I practice saving sentient beings in my daily life. I bring truth-clarifying materials with me everywhere, and whether I'm walking, waiting for the bus, or shopping, I am always looking for people with predestined relationships. Once, when I was on the bus, on my way to Fa-study, I missed my stop. At first, I thought I'd take the bus on the other side of the street to go back to my stop. Then I thought, "It's not very far...I could just walk." Soon I saw three Chinese people. I took out material on quitting the CCP and handed it to them. I smiled and said, "Please take a moment to read this. It is very good for your future. The gods will eliminate the CCP. You should withdraw in order to have a future." I then told them the reasons why they should quit the CCP and erase the mark of the beast. One man said, "I was about to apply to join the Party. After listening to you, I have decided not to join." I said, "You really have a predestined relationship. I suggest you use the name 'Li Taiyuan' to quit." He and his daughter quit the Youth League and his wife quit the Party. I tried to remember their names and thanked Master for bringing them to me that day.

There are many visitors from China staying at hotels in Los Angeles. I take advantage of breakfast time to promote quitting the CCP to them. Although some people refused to take the materials, and some others ignore me, I don't give up. I believe that there must be people with predestined relationships that need to be saved. Eleven people have taken my advice and quit the Party at one time. When I was just about to leave one day, I saw an old man come towards me. I quickly approached him and gave him a set of materials and he took my advice and quit the Party. He said, "Thank you!" I wished him good luck in the future and waved goodbye.

Once, I met a lady and handed her materials exposing the CCP's crime of harvesting organs from living Falun Gong practitioners. She asked, "Is this real?" I replied, "Yes. Several witnesses have publicly given evidence, and Western reporters and the investigation committee have recorded evidence through telephone calls to numerous large Chinese hospitals. Some doctors have admitted that this is true. Here is the DVD--please take a careful look." I then introduced to her the benefits of practicing Falun Gong. Her son, who was about 11 or 12 years old, came over and said to me, "Auntie, let's have a contest and see who can run faster around this sports field. If I lose to you then I'll really believe in what you said." I thought about it and said, "Running is not real kongfu. Let's sit down and do the double leg-crossing position. I can do that for 2 hours and if you can do it for 20 minutes, then you win." He did not answer me, but then said, "So what do you believe in?" I answered, "Zhen-Shan-Ren. Do you know about Buddhas, Daos and Gods?" He said he did. I continued, "Zhen-Shan-Ren is the highest Buddha law. In my own words, Zhen means to speak true words, to do things truthfully, and to tell no lies; a Dao cultivates Zhen, Truthfulness, and eventually he will be a true person attaining the Dao, namely an immortal. Shan, or kindness, means compassion, to be kind to everyone. The Buddha school focuses on cultivating compassion; it offers salvation to all sentient beings. Ren, or forbearance, means that one should not fight back when beaten, and not retort when abused, and that one should be tolerant when in conflict with others. We Falun Dafa practitioners are doing things in accordance with these three words." The boy pointed to his head and said, "If someone put a gun to your head, would you still endure it?" I said, "If you do things according to Zhen-Shan-Ren, you will not encounter this type of situation." He then asked, "What is heaven?" I thought to myself, "This boy is asking such profound questions. I couldn't answer him if it weren't for Master's explanation about these issues."

The boy then inquired, "How does your Master know about all this? Does He see it with his own eyes or does He just imagine it?" I thought the boy wouldn't accept it if I told him directly that everything was created by Master. So I said, "Since you know about Buddhas, Daos and Gods, then you must already know about their supernatural abilities, and that their celestial eyes can see through everything. Do you know anything about the celestial eye?" He said he did, and pointed to his forehead, saying, "It's inside there. When it is activated, one can see other dimensions." I told him, "The level of our Master's celestial eye is extremely high. With it, Master can see the edge of the most macrocosmic and the most microcosmic substances. How can a celestial eye be activated? Strong and powerful energy is needed. And one has to practice as we do, to cultivate and become better."

We also talked about the origin of human beings and UFOs, straightening out his ideas and knowledge learned from science demonstrations. At last, the boy and his mother took some Dafa materials and left happily.
3. Strengthening righteous thoughts and eliminating attachments

When beginning to spread the Nine Commentaries and promote withdrawing from the Party, I paid a lot of attention to succeeding in having a certain number of people actually quit. If a person was still not willing to quit after a long discussion, I did not want to make calls any more. While studying Zhuan Falun, I read, "We stress holistic improvement and holistic upgrade." This awakened me. Spreading the Nine Commentaries and promoting the withdrawals is a big project that requires that we move forward as one body. Practitioners need to coordinate well and act as a team. I felt the compassion of Dafa and the difficulty of cultivation. I also felt the importance of our mission to save the beings of the universe. I then eliminated my attachment to the numbers of people who quit. I would talk to people for as long as they would listen. Some people need to listen to the truth for a long time before they can understand. As long as this being can be saved, even though he or she may not quit via my phone call, I should still continue calling to clarify the truth. This is to play the role of a Dafa disciple.

During the course of promoting withdrawals from the CCP and spreading the Nine Commentaries, my attachments appeared often. I know that it was not myself but rather interference from the old forces. I used the Fa to dissolve the interference and used righteous thoughts to destroy it. For a period of time, the results from my phone calls were not good. Sometimes I was even insulted by people. One morning, I made four calls and no one quit the Party. One man said, "I am with the CCP. I am with president Hu Jintao." I said, "I'm not against the CCP or Hu Jintao. I am simply calling to tell you the truth--that the CCP has committed too many evil deeds. No one needs to be against the CCP. It is destroying itself. You belong to this organization? Why do you want to sacrifice yourself for nothing?" He hung up and wouldn't answer the phone again. I tried to find the problem within myself. I found that I have the mentality of zealotry. Sometimes when I had persuaded some people quit, I felt truly happy for the sentient beings, while at the same time I still possessed the delightful feeling of self-validation. When I found this attachment, I firmly tried to get rid of it to never allow the evil to exploit any gaps. Sometimes when I was not as righteous, I didn't do well with persuading people to quit. Unrighteous thoughts would pop into my mind, such as, "The wicked beings have created a lot of propaganda against us. It's really hard to do this." I really felt those beings were too deceived and too lost. One morning on my way to distribute newspapers, Master's poem, "For the Good of the World" came to mind:

"Make clear the truth,
and drive off foul spirits.
Spread widely the Nine Commentaries,
and the wicked Party shall fade.
With righteous thoughts,
save the world's people.
I just don't believe their consciences
are irretrievably lost."

I enlightened to what righteous thoughts really meant: We cannot sigh even a single sigh, we cannot have the slightest moment of depression, for this single sigh or slight depression is actually partially accepting the old forces' arrangements. The old forces want to upset you and deject you. The heart of saving all sentient beings cannot be moved, it should be as solid as a diamond. We cannot complain that some beings are so lost; this only shows we are lacking compassion. Even though the other person is sometimes too explosive, when a god stands before him, the field of great compassion will immediately dissolve all evil and its elements existing in other dimensions. Such a person should also be saved, and before the end of the Fa-rectification, each and every being will have the same opportunity. Having eliminated the mentality of complaining and the mentality of frustration, I continued distributing newspapers peacefully and patiently.

While clarifying the truth in Chinatown, I used to have the mindset of competitiveness. I realized it and tried to eliminate it and keep a mindset of peacefulness. This time it came back to me. I handed materials to a Chinese driver on the street. He said, "Get away! Do not disturb me!" I said, "I do not mean to disturb you. I want to tell you to quit the Party for your own future. Over 19 million people have already quit." He said, "I do not need you to tell me that. If you keep bothering me, I will call the police." After he said this, I remembered the CCP's crime of persecuting Falun Gong and I lost all peace in my heart. I yelled, "I'm going to stand here today and watch. What can you do to me? This is United States of America, not Communist China!" He got back into his car and the people in the car laughed. I quickly realized that I had not done well in overcoming this barrier.

I had regret. As a person on the path to the godhood, how can I fight with ordinary people? This man was poisoned by the CCP. I should have mercy on him. My arguing lowered my level to that of an ordinary person. It was the most humiliating thing I ever endured. How have I been cultivating?! Master told us in Zhuan Falun,

"In the course of our cultivation practice, you must clean out various bad things in your body so that you can move up. This characteristic of the universe exactly plays this role." (verified)

The mentality of competitiveness is an attachment. It is not my true self. Today it is exposed and I will use the Fa to destroy it.

Let us keep in mind what Master told us in "Teaching the Fa in the City of Chicago":

"This instant is precious beyond measure. Completing the last leg of this journey well is what's most magnificent."

Keep steady on the final journey of cultivation. I will continue spreading the Nine Commentaries and promoting withdrawals from the CCP to save more beings.

(Clearwisdom.net) It has been a bumpy road with the "three withdrawals" initiative. One practitioner shared that it was the most difficult in the beginning. Therefore, I thought it would be important to share my experiences in asking people to withdraw from the Communist Party and its affiliated organizations with fellow practitioners. With the encouragement of fellow practitioners, I was able to produce this sharing of my three withdrawals experiences.

If I remember correctly, Dafa practitioners were involved in doing the three withdrawals since the end of 2004. However, my first experience was not until Fall 2005. Before that, I was tongue-tied and just didn't know how to break through it. I felt that talking about the three withdrawals was much more difficult than talking about the truth of Dafa. Now, I realize that it was due to my lagging behind in the Fa-rectification process. In Fall 2005, I was a nervous wreck when I wanted to talk to two family members and some friends of ours, who also needed to hear the truth about Dafa besides the three withdrawals. In the end, it was not that difficult and both families quit the Party. From this I understood that the Fa-rectification and the cosmic changes have progressed to the current stage, and Master and gods have all been helping to save people with predestined relationships. As long as we let go of our human attachments and begin to talk about it, we will do well. Even though I had a good beginning, I didn't really make any progress until December 2006.

In October 2006, I heard that a fellow practitioner from Mainland China seized the opportunity and was quite active in seeking the three withdrawals. She was quite successful in having people do the three withdrawals every time she went out. I was envious of what she did and often felt that I was falling behind, so I decided to catch up. I searched for articles that talked about how to help people with the three withdrawals. I wanted to learn from these experience-sharing articles.

In early 2007, I planned to talk extensively to my relatives about withdrawing. I had not approached this subject with them because I always felt that this was a sensitive issue. I was afraid that others couldn't accept what I said. Because most of them are atheist, I was afraid that as soon as I began to mention "the heavens will eliminate the CCP" and "mark of the beast," they would automatically think that I was talking superstitious gibberish. I was also afraid that others would say that persuading people to quit the Party is playing politics. This revealed quite clearly that I did not understand the importance and significance of the three withdrawals in relation to the Fa. I was still using my human notions to treat this issue.

First I would write letters talking about truth of Falun Dafa and the three withdrawals. Then, when I thought that they had read my letters, I would call them. In the letters, I would tell of my personal experiences and include ideas I had found important when reading articles on the Minghui website. I also used the book, "Disintegrate the Party's Culture" as a reference.

First, I decided to contact two aunties whom I thought to be fairly easy going. Then, I began to make phone calls. One aunty had a local practitioner teach her husband the exercises, so I thought that she would have been persuaded to quit the Party by that practitioner, but both refused to quit the Party. Also, they didn't understand what I was doing. So, I ended the conversation. Shortly after, I came to understand that persuading people to quit the Party is a serious process. One has to disintegrate the party's culture in them, and only then could their lives be saved. I couldn't just imagine that this person was easy to talk to. It became clear to me that the key for whether they hesitate to quit the Party or not depends on to which degree they have been brainwashed by the CCP. My human notions made me believe that it was easier to call relatives and I approached it with more confidence. I felt less confident when it came to people with whom I had lost contact. I did not send them letters, but called them instead. To my surprise, they agreed to quit the Party right away. I began to understand that the three withdrawals is not any ordinary thing. We should not use human notions that make us believe that because someone is related to us or closely associated with us they are easy to convince. I should not use my own judgment.

Before I began to make phone calls, I felt very nervous. I was afraid if people turned me down I would lose face. I was scared and worried. At the beginning, I asked practitioners to help me overcome this fear. Persuading people to quit the Party is not something that can be put off, and it is more important than my losing face. My mind was not quite within the Fa. I didn't understand that quitting the Party was for saving people, which is more important than losing face. It is their lives that are in jeopardy. In addition, the attachment to not losing face in itself is an attachment to fame and sentimentality.

Before I sent emails to my relatives, I expected that they would agree to quit the Party after reading the email. I hoped that this would save me from calling them. Alas, most of them didn't reply to my email. Even though some replied, they only thanked me in a polite way, without mentioning anything else. At the beginning, when I saw a reply from my relatives, I didn't dare to open the email. Negative thoughts filled my mind. I often thought that they wouldn't accept what I had written and I was terribly scared. One time, when my uncle addressed me as so and so Mrs. in his reply, I felt very sad. I thought that must be because he didn't accept my letter that he addressed me in such an odd way. Later, I found out that the email was actually received by a stranger and not my uncle. He said that he appreciated my sending this letter to him and that he was very touched. He encouraged me to send it to my uncle, saying that he would appreciate this e-mail as well. This letter encouraged me a lot. We are doing the most compassionate thing. Ordinary people have the side that knows, so that side can feel our compassion. I feel that by counting on ordinary people to quit the Party because of my email, the mere thought has a lot of attachments behind it - mainly fear of being turned down when calling people face-to-face, and pursuit of results.

I am actually quite adept in connecting people's behavior with a perceived attitude. I thought that once a person said something about misunderstanding the truth, it would be difficult to clarify the truth to that person. This kind of notion had been controlling me firmly. As a matter of fact, the progress of the Fa-rectification in other dimensions and the cleansing of other dimensions with our righteous thoughts has a great effect on everything. Everyone is going through changes. I was still governed by the thought "seeing is believing" from my atheist background and had not felt this transformation in ordinary society. Teacher said:

"There is another type of person. Someone was told in the past that he had spirit or animal possession. He felt that way as well. However, upon having it removed for him, his mind still worries about it. He always thinks that the condition still exists. He still thinks that it is there, and this is already an attachment called suspicion. As time passes, this person may bring it to himself again. One should give up this attachment, as this spirit or animal possession no longer exists." (Zhuan Falun)A relative of mine said that the Nine Commentaries was playing politics. Therefore, I was afraid to talk about the three withdrawals with him. He is an 80-year-old CCP member. I thought that he must be very stubborn, since he had already shared his thoughts with me. I didn't know how to bring up this topic again. Even though I sent forth righteous thoughts, I still had many concerns. Unexpectedly, after only a few sentences, he agreed to quit the Part. This made me recall what Master said:

"If ordinary people say something or interfere with you, don't take it to heart, and just do what you need to do. The sources of human thoughts are very complicated, and in many cases it is people's notions talking, not their true thoughts or their true beings. So the things they say are often specious and not what they mean. They forget the things they just said right after saying them. They don't even take their own remarks seriously, so why would you? Don't worry about what they say, [but] every word that you say is like a thunderclap to them." ("Teaching the Fa in San Francisco," 2005)

As soon as I thought of non-practitioner friends, my notions would pop up out of the blue. I thought that so and so was very snobbish, so and so is not truthful, and so on. This was not the end of it. More notions were popping up, such as being afraid after talking to someone, or feeling that so and so would come up with excuses. I thought of people whom I had conflicts with, or whom I was not crazy about. All these attachments had been hindering me in helping others. During this process, I came to realize that helping people with the three withdrawals is to save people. Therefore, we have to hold great Compassion and rid ourselves of human notions. This is a fundamental issue. I thought of someone I had conflicts with in the past, and didn't have a great impression of. This time, before making the phone call, I cleansed myself first. I wanted to get rid of my notions toward her. I thought about what Teacher said:

"and all of the chaotic world's unrighted wrongs and karmic relationships are settled with benevolent solutions." ("Foretelling the Fa's Rectification of the Human World"If we are to do what a god would do, then how can we be still be attached to human notions. Therefore, when I called her, I could truly feel compassion. This was reflected in our conversation. Without realizing it, I chatted with her for three hours. In the end, she was very happy to do the three withdrawals. She then also talked to her friends in China. She told them how I had changed and how nice I was now. This indirectly helped my clarifying the truth to other friends in China.

Besides helping relatives and friends, I felt that helping local Chinese with the three withdrawals is also very important. People I met at subway stations, at the roadside, cashiers, at elevators and so on are all people with predestined relationship. I prepared a form for withdrawing. People who wished to withdraw could sign their real names or alias. On the top of the form, I wrote a short paragraph as to why the three withdrawals are necessary. Sometimes I use the form to help with the three withdrawals. Sometimes I gave flyers with the picture of a fossil on the front. The words inscribed on the fossil read: "Please read the introduction for the 'three withdrawals.'" No matter what format, it creates an opportunity.

At the beginning, I felt it quite difficult to talk about the three withdrawals. I had a lot of notions in my mind. I even hoped that I wouldn't run into any Chinese people. At the same time, Teacher gave me a lot of encouragement. When I began to use the form to help with the "three withdrawals," out of the four people I asked, three agreed to quit, and the fourth was Taiwanese and thus didn't need to quit. At that time, I was reminded of Teacher's Fa:

"When you are overcoming a real hardship or tribulation, you try it. When it is difficult to endure, try to endure it. When it looks impossible and is said to be impossible, give it a try and see if it is possible. If you can actually do it, you will indeed find: "After passing the shady willow trees, there will be bright flowers and another village ahead!" (Zhuan Falun)

I feel that it easy to clarify the truth in some specific situations or at specific times. For instance, during Dafa activities when it is my turn to tell the truth it was quite easy. Yet I felt it rather difficult to tell the truth in my daily life. Master says:

"One thought can determine whether you make it through. Whether you can step forward to validate the Fa is a test that can't be passed just by following the crowd and its momentum. Some people have thought that they'd wait on Tiananmen Square, and figured that "if everyone steps out of the crowd, then I'll step out." When they don't see many practitioners stepping out, they stroll around and then head back. This is because when everyone steps out, it's that momentum that brings you out--you aren't stepping forward as a result of letting go of life and death deep down within. Cultivation is an individual matter, and following the crowd won't do it. Each person's improvement must be well-grounded." ("Teaching the Fa at the Washington, D.C. International Fa Conference")

I understand now that we are expected to clarify the truth at all times, everywhere we go, and in certain circumstances. We exhibit a good cultivation state when doing so. Yet, in daily life we are unable to be compassionate at all times. So, if we are attached to different human notions, we don't feel like telling the truth when we meet people.

I often missed the chance due to my worries. For instance, once at the gate of a shopping center, I saw a Chinese sitting next to a Westerner and eating. I said to my-self, "It is not good to talk to him." Many excuses stopped me, such as the fear of disturbing others, the worry that the Chinese might refuse to listen, the Westerner might think badly of me, wondering if that person really was Chinese, and so on. Finally, I left. I felt great pain and regret at not having done well, while at the same time I lacked strength to break through this barrier.

If truth be told, my finding excuses for not speaking is ultimately the fear of what I see as their attitude toward me and the fear of losing face. This attachment brought out many other notions, such as the feeling that it's hard to make overseas students accept the truth of Dafa, that currently young people have lowered tremendously the fundamentals of morality and they probably will shout abuse; that it is easy to tell the truth to one single person, instead of twos and threes; and that this person looks nice but that one looks fearful or shrewd. However the end result was always different from what I imagined. So, these experiences have helped me eliminate my notions that were formed in the human world. They actually were all based on self-protection.

When there was more than one person, I would feel more pressure to keep my mouth shut. Then there is also the thought that if I can't make it, I will also lose face. This thought puts pressure on my heart. Once I recalled Master's words:

"Someone says: "If someone kicks me while I'm walking down the street and no one around knows me, I can tolerate it." I say that this is not good enough. Perhaps in the future you may be slapped in the face twice, and you will lose face in front of someone whom you least want to see it. It is to see how you will deal with this issue and whether you can endure it." (Zhuan Falun)

Presently, I clarify the truth over the phone to my overseas friends (ordinary people) while inviting them to take part in celebrating activities on Falun Dafa Day. Many of them who were willing to quit had never heard of the withdrawal activities. Some of them often read the Epoch Times but never knew the facts. Most everyone no longer considered themselves CCP members. They said that they were too old to still be members of any Communist organizations, etc. After my clarifying the truth, they suddenly understood and were willing to quit. I felt that sometimes the evil in other dimensions prevents people from noticing the facts published by the media. Therefore, speaking to people face to face and clarifying the truth through the media is mutually complementary. Master said:"Of course, as the saying goes, "an announcement posted everywhere still can't make the illiterate aware," so there are still some that are left out for sure, there are still people who don't know the truth for sure, and that's why you need to keep doing things to clarify the truth." ("Teaching the Fa at the Meeting with Asia-Pacific Students.")

Although our media already published articles on the three withdrawals and our grand parades have shaken people's hearts, they can't take the place of speaking to people face to face. Although we do have our fixed Service Centers for Quitting the CCP on the streets, they are still far from enough. If every one of us practitioners overseas won't miss the chance when encountering any Chinese, we actually turn ourselves into moving Quitting Centers. It would be great if we could make the centers bloom everywhere. If every Chinese who meets us gets the opportunity to hear about the tide of withdrawals from the CCP and has the opportunity to choose his/her own future, those people who don't quit at a site will feel eventually that the three withdrawals are just a step away from their grasp. By doing so, not only will more people quit the Communist organizations in this dimension, but also the changes in other dimensions brought along by us will play a more effective role.

I take part in a calling project for one hour every week. I was most encouraged by two students I talked to who agreed to withdraw from the Young Pioneers. I thought children would never follow what I was saying, instead they might question my motives. On the contrary, both kids understood me clearly and well. From it I learned that kids also have the ability to tell right from wrong, good from evil, and they can also choose a wonderful future for themselves. Master said: "It's like sharp swords shooting out together from their mouths." ("Hurry Up And Tell Them") I understand the process of telling more people the truth is also the process of grinding my sword. The more it is grinded, the sharper it will be. Of course the process of studying the Fa, cultivating xinxing and sending forth righteous thoughts are also sharpening my sword. Only when one is assimilated through cultivation practice can one be sure to save people.

It is really hard to have the truth of the Three Withdrawals clearly explained. I found that to atheists we could put more emphasis on encouraging them to show support for the three withdrawals for the sake of morality and justice. If we talk about gods or Buddhas, they probably will not believe in it. Instead, if we use an old proverb or some principles like "good is repaid with good, evil with evil," they seldom argue with us.

To speak up is only an initial stage of clarifying the truth well. Whether we can get the problems in their heart solved is directly related to our cultivation stage. I feel that many Chinese have given up normal logic and lost their judgment between right and wrong. Most of their problems are illustrated in the book Disintegrating the Party Culture. But, I still do not know how to dissolve their problems. Yet I can tell others -- the way you think is just the way the CCP wishes you to. You are simply using its logic, and not considering even the facts that are well recognized by people. You also do not realize the truth of universal principles. I strongly feel these words have power and many people share the same opinion on hearing them. I think by saying things this way I make them aware of the source of their ideas and thoughts, and I let the wicked Party culture be exposed. This is the prelude for it's being disintegrated. Though I have thoroughly read the book Disintegrating the Party Culture, I still discover that I have not fully digested and absorbed its contents. Each time when I encountered questions that I could not answer, I would open the book and think deeply about what I read. I understand that if there are questions that I failed to answer, it is not only the reason of lacking human knowledge, but more than that. If I cannot clearly respond to their argument and if I still identify partially with their theories, it shows that I am still poisoned or polluted by the evil party culture.

Recently, when I called a relative in Mainland China to have her quit the CCP organizations, it was quite easy. I started the discussion a little differently than usual. Formerly, I began with the CCP having killed 80 million people, or from the point of destroying human rights. This time I talked of the CCP destroying traditional culture, and not letting people believe that both evil and good will be repaid, talking about how it undermines human morality, how the officials are corrupt, how the whole society focuses on money, that they will commit all kind of evil deeds for the sake of money, and that everyone is a victim. This relative of mine thought that she had so much in common with these thoughts that she quit without any problem. I did not feel like talking this way in the past due to my laziness. Before, I never paid much attention to social things, and I was not good at talking about topics concerning the economy or politics. Now, I know for the sake of saving sentient beings, more effort should be put into the topics that raise Chinese people's interests. Now, I understand, only as we talk about things that others know of, by talking from the lower level to the higher, can we have them share the same opinion with us, thus achieving a better effect.

It is vital to send forth righteous thoughts before clarifying the truth. "We have said that good or evil comes from a person's spontaneous thought" (Zhuan Falun). To clear up others as well as one's own dimensional field, one can't talk with human notions.

Sometimes after I succeeded in making others quit, my mentality of showing off and zealotry would come out. If failed, I would feel depressed and upset. One day when studying the Fa, I read Master words, which directly pointed to my heart:

"He thinks that he has cured an illness. When others call him a qigong master, he will become delighted and very pleased. Isn't that an attachment? When he cannot cure an illness, he drops his head and feels fizzled out. Isn't it caused by his attachment to fame and personal gain?" (Zhuan Falun)

In fact, I did care too much about results. Presently, when I am still driven by the attachment, I will think of Master's words in Zhuan Falun: "An Arhat should be free of attachments, with a heart that cannot be affected." I find actually the procedure of persuading others to quit is a process of clarifying the truth. Having others clearly known the truth is the basic precondition for quitting the CCP. So, even if they refuse to quit, I should not feel upset, for they at least had the chance to hear some of the truth. When cherishing this state of mind, one will feel each phone call is useful and is wiping out the elements of the evil ghosts of communism.

When I first began persuading others to quit the communist organizations, I felt that I was somewhat falling behind. I had only a limited number of people quit, and I really wanted to do better. Thus, I had the heart of eagerness to accomplish my mission and I was really attached to the numbers of people who quit. Actually, it was for the sake of selfishness and wishing to accumulate more virtue. Little by little, I realized this is diverging from the Fa. The basis should be for salvation and for others sake, instead of for oneself.

One day when I got on the train with a fellow practitioner, we met with an overseas Chinese and talked about the three withdrawals. But that person refused to listen, and was rather unfriendly. When we talked more, she again refused. Normally, if I was rejected twice, I would just move on. The elderly fellow practitioner still kindly and patiently talked to her, while that person continued to ignore us. At that time, I strongly felt the great gap between the elderly practitioner placing her heart on salvation and I putting my face and so-called self-esteem ahead.

In the past, I wanted to participate in other truth-clarifying projects, but shied away from doing the three withdrawals. When I began doing the three withdrawals, I showed less interest and put less effort on other Dafa projects. Now, I realize that my shying away was due to my fear of encountering difficulties. My present focus on the issue is because I feel it is very difficult. But, when seeing that more and more people quit the CCP and its related parties, I feel successful. But, this is still the attachment of validating myself. All that we do is perfectly arranged and ordered. I can't choose to do this or that according to my own interests and passions. Only if we let go of all our attachments and do so on the basis of saving more sentient beings as a whole, should it be righteous.

I am not cultivating well enough. I started to do the three withdrawals a bit late. Compared with practitioners who have done well, I still have a great gap to close. My heart of fear still wells up when talking to people about quitting the Party.

I hope my sharing helps fellow practitioners. I hope that they will use it as reference and through it let go of burdens. I hope that others will make the first step forward toward encouraging others to quit. Please kindly point out anything inappropriate I might have said. Thank you.

(Clearwisdom.net) I started practicing Falun Dafa in May 1997. Although I experienced various difficulties, I followed Teacher's Fa-rectification. I have realized that as long as one believes in Teacher and Dafa, any adversity and any evil will be extinguished instantaneously.

In 2001, several police officers from the local police station searched my home computer. I was not afraid in my heart and was calm. They searched for more than an hour. I thought that I should not let them continue searching, and I asked Teacher for help in my heart. I thought, "These evil people have to leave within 10 minutes. They are not allowed to stay." Two minutes later, the head person's cellphone rang. The person on the other end called to tell them to hurry to do something else. When they left, they were polite and said that they had interrupted.

In 2002, the police searched my home again. Several cars came and 13 to 14 officers entered my house and searched everywhere. This time, I was also calm and not afraid. There was one thought in my mind, which was to protect the Dafa books well. I thought, "They cannot take away the books." All the Dafa books were placed in my home. Before the police entered my home, Teacher's picture was on a desk. In the end, they only got a copy of one of Teacher's short articles.

But, I did not send forth righteous thoughts to tell them not to persecute me. They persecuted me very severely this time. I was illegally imprisoned in a detention center. Although I refreshed my memory of the Fa and sent forth righteous thoughts every day, there were still some other practitioners being sent to the labor camp, and some practitioners compromised with the evil. There were only two of us left who had not surrendered. Teacher gave me hints in two dreams. In one dream, I saw that two-thirds of a big heart had hardened and was not beating. In the second dream, a roof had a small leak and the leak got bigger and bigger. I talked to the other practitioner. We could not surrender to the evil. We decided not to let the rest of the heart stop beating and become hardened. We would fix our loophole. We continuously refreshed our memory of the Fa. In a few days, the other practitioner was taken to a labor camp. With strong righteous thoughts and under Teacher's protection, he was not imprisoned in the labor camp and was sent home.

I regretted that it was not until then that I started to think that I could not allow the evil persecution to continue. They do not have any right to persecute Dafa practitioners. I sent forth strong righteous thoughts. I strengthened my determination not to write anything for the evil. I was determined not to allow the authorities to take me to a labor camp. I asked for Teacher's help. I wanted to get out of this place openly and aboveboard. In a few days, I was confined in a solitary cell. I coughed up blood and was soon sent home. I am free now and am rejoining the Fa-rectification.

In summary, after several instances of being persecuted, I thought about sending forth righteous thoughts and asked for Teacher's help only after I had been persecuted for a while or not until after already having been persecuted. I didn't think about sending forth righteous thoughts and extinguishing the evil before it happened. Actually, this is because we did not learn Dafa well and did not genuinely believe in Teacher and Dafa one hundred percent. A practitioner who believes in Teacher and Dafa one hundred percent will not be persecuted. How can the evil persecute Dafa? "Dafa does not leave the body, The heart harbors Zhen-Shan-Ren; In the world is a great Arhat, Spirits and ghosts fear greatly." ("Mighty Virtue" from Hong Yin)

I have been operating a small truth-clarifying material production site for two years now. I feel strongly that one has to study the Fa peacefully and with a clear mind, and send forth righteous thoughts every day. If there was one day that I didn't spend enough time studying Dafa, or I didn't study Dafa with a peaceful mind, I would experience all sorts of disturbances in making truth-clarifying materials. Especially, I feel that one has to not be irritable and must be calm, auspicious, and have righteous thoughts. One cannot have thoughts of competing. One should let Dafa materials enable all living beings to awaken, to clearly recognize the evils, and to be saved. There were a few times that I did not have enough time. I wanted coordinators to get Dafa materials in time, but I had to do some cooking and I was agitated. Then, the printer had a problem. The printing was not clear near the edges. Black spots and black lines were all over the paper. Feedback and weekly journals were not organized, but got stapled anyway. I realized that being in a hurry and anxiety are ordinary people's thoughts and are evil spirits. The evil would make use of the opportunity and would create disturbances. When I have a peaceful mind and heart and have a merciful heart toward all living beings, the printer also works well and prints the Dafa materials cleanly and smoothly.

(Clearwisdom.net) Normally it is counted as righteous thoughts and righteous actions when the causes and goals of our actions are in line with Dafa teachings and Master's requirements. But why do the evil forces still dare to persecute us? My understanding is that the righteous thoughts and actions should be conducted not only at the behavioral level, but also deep in the heart.

For example, when the police came to harass practitioners in the middle of their studying the Fa, some practitioners allowed the police to arrest them in an obedient manner. Why did they do that? Studying the Fa in a group is the cultivation way that Master left for us. We follow Master's requirements, and that is righteous thoughts and actions, and the evil forces should not have been able to persecute us. However, the persecution is still going on. Moreover, those practitioners who have been arrested seemed to have been very cooperative. Let us take a look at the attitude that some of us have at that moment.

When the police come, we often take it for granted that the police should persecute us because we have not followed the regulations of the evil Chinese Communist Party (CCP). We are accepting reasons for the persecution, which in turn weakens our righteous thoughts or even denies them. This is an idea which was formed by the CCP long ago: being against the government will result in persecution. We forget that it is our right to communicate and get together with each other, and even the CCP has this written into its constitution. We are gathering together to share our experiences of how to be good people (at the ordinary people's level), which is in line with both our rights and the constitution. It is the CCP government that is the real criminal. Because we sometimes do not have this righteous thought, we may feel weak when the police come, and we accept the persecution arranged by the evil.

When I was in jail, we were forced to listen to the government's propaganda and they criticized the fact that practitioners had interrupted normal broadcasting to send truth clarification programs via satellite TV. My thought at that time was: "It must have been because the practitioners had no other choice. If they did do it, however, it is not good to interrupt people's regular TV broadcasts." The root of my thought was putting the importance of ordinary people's ordinary lives before clarifying the truth. When I discussed this with another practitioner in jail, the practitioner said: "If I had the skills, I would have done this, too, to let more people know about the truth." From this practitioner I realized my shortcoming.

Another thing this practitioner who had never given in to the evil did was to ask the jail to provide winter clothes and bedding. At first I felt it was not right, so I discussed it with the practitioner. My rationale was: "I did not want to 'beg' them for anything (for my dignity), I did not want to trouble the wardens (as if it was out of my compassion), and we should not feel any coldness as practitioners (as if it was out of my forbearance, which might not be wrong before the persecution, but it is wrong during this Fa-rectification period, because accepting the persecution is acknowledging the persecution to some degree)." The practitioner's thought was much more clear and reasonable: "They brought me in here, I do not want to be here, so they must provide me with food and daily supplies."

People may think that this request was unreasonable, but you can feel the strong righteousness and fearlessness once you think about it more deeply. Another time the wardens directed the other inmates to threaten us by saying that the food and beds were for criminal inmates only. They said: "If you have not broken the laws, you are not criminals and so you should not eat the food and use the beds here." I was speechless, thinking that this was unreasonable but hard to deny. The same practitioner replied that food was for human beings and it was my basic right to have food, so the jail should definitely provide us food! Now I realize even further about this issue, that practitioners should not have been detained in jails because we have not committed any crimes, moreover, practitioners should be set free to save sentient beings.

So what are righteous thoughts and righteous actions in clarifying the truth? My understanding is that we should fully acknowledge that clarifying the truth is saving people. It is the most important mission currently, and whoever interferes is irrational and is trying to stop those who want to save others. We should be careful about our own safety, so that we can save more people by clarifying the truth, so that people lost in the maze will not commit more sins by persecuting practitioners, reporting practitioners to the police, or interfering with truth clarification. If people do do things to persecute practitioners, we should tell them that they are committing great sins. My understanding is this action is in line with Truthfulness (telling them the facts in the Fa-rectification period), Compassion (hoping people will not hurt themselves), and Forbearance (not using violent words or behaviors).

(Clearwisdom.net) When I joined the online truth clarification group, I asked a technician to help me fix my computer. One hour before the technician returned it, I had a bad stomach ache and I wanted to vomit. When the technician asked me if I was alright, I told her that I was OK and we should have righteous thoughts. The interference came again when I did the group exercises a few days later. I sent forth righteous thoughts and then felt better. I knew that it was interference to my truth clarification.

Later I encountered many challenges. I did not know how to use the mouse, or how to send and receive emails. Every time there was an update for a program, it needed to be upgraded and files had to be extracted; I made a total mess of the desktop and then had to ask for help. I felt I was too troublesome to my fellow practitioners and the technicians, and I was so embarrassed. I wondered why I was so stupid and nervous when learning how to use the computer. My life was in disorder and I was afraid I would end up breaking my computer if I tried to use it.

Later I settled down and reminded myself that I am a Dafa disciple and I am not stupid. I must be stuck somewhere. I had learned to use the computer with other practitioners. The programs we participated in were not necessarily the same, so we learned one thing for a while and then learned another thing. Although I took notes, I got them confused. I could not grasp it and felt very upset. I wished some practitioner could sit beside me and teach me, so whenever I had questions he could show me at once. But this was impossible. Fa-rectification progresses so fast, and each practitioner's time is precious; everyone is doing truth clarification and I could not take so much of their time. I told myself to make an effort to learn, and to do it myself, only asking others when I had questions. Now I never feel afraid. Fear is also an attachment.

I really wanted to do online truth clarification, but I had other things to do, and I put it off. I always felt that many, many sentient beings were waiting for me to save them, but the things I had been doing were so trivial. How could I let so many trivial things interfere with my truth clarification? My husband told me that if I did not do the house work well, I was not cultivating. My child also told me if I only signed the papers, and didn't really check the homework, I was not cultivating. How could I have done poorly in so many ways? I vowed I would do well cultivating.

I haven't gone to the practice site for a long time, and it seemed I no longer belonged to it. I often felt upset about this. For a long time, I went to bed after two o'clock in the morning, and could not get up at 4:15 to do the morning exercises. I thought, maybe I should go to sleep a little earlier? But if I still had energy, why should I go to bed early? I could use the time to study the Fa, or do truth clarification, or check my email. I only go to bed if I am really very sleepy, and, as my husband noted, the quality of my sleep is good.

However, I could not get up for the morning exercises. When the alarm rang, I turned it off and continued to sleep. When I woke up and asked my husband who turned it off, he told me I had turned it off every time. After that, I put the alarm in the living room, but then I could not hear it. So, while it did not wake me up, my husband heard it every time and angrily got up to turn off the alarm. My child asked me if we were annoying our neighbors because our alarm was so loud. I felt really sorry.

I am determined to go the morning exercise site every day on time from now on, and require myself to do the three things as Dafa disciple in the Fa-rectification period, and not fail to treasure Master's merciful salvation.

(Clearwisdom.net) An important period of my cultivation was to complete my graduation thesis at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna. When I decided to choose a topic somewhat related to Dafa, a path suddenly appeared in front of me: I could introduce Falun Dafa and the persecution in China from the perspective of music.

Because of the topic of my thesis, I faced some resistance the first time I talked with my professor. But I succeeded because the professor found my idea good and interesting. I wrote an outline of the thesis. Once my professor modified it slightly, I was very clear about my path.

After deciding on the contents of my thesis, I did not encounter any further obstacles. My professor gave me an excellent review. I finished the basics of my thesis. I used one song as a foundation, and studied all the relevant information, including the writer's motivation, the effect of the song in the society, media reactions, fellow practitioners' involvements, and my detailed explanation of the music and lyrics.

After some time, the department head formally agreed on my thesis topic. About one year later, I completed the thesis. In the first chapter, I introduced Falun Dafa. I chronologically listed the spread of Falun Gong in China to the beginning of the persecution. In the next chapter, I described some aspects of the persecution, such as the motivations behind the persecution, the brainwashing, torture, genocide, and the bad effect of the media propaganda.

The music portion was divided into different genres and categories, including Western, Eastern, traditional, modern, anti-persecution, praising Falun Dafa, instrumentals and songs. This is to illustrate that regardless the style of music, because Falun Dafa practitioners always follows the principles of Truthfulness, Compassion and Tolerance in their daily life, their music is always extraordinary. It is the same for everyone. Therefore, their music encompasses their understandings of the principles of Falun Dafa, and the music has something special and pure inside.

In the subsequent chapters, I analyzed the different types of music described earlier. There is one chapter especially about a Lotus CD from Germany. The last chapter is about the Falun Dafa Choir in Europe.

Overall, I wrote about the life of Falun Dafa practitioners, emphasizing the musicians among them and the life of Falun Dafa practitioners described in their songs.

This allowed me to clarify the truth to the society on a broader level. When I was writing, I often thought of one sentence in Zhuan Falun, "Due to the influence of traditional conventions, no one today has systematically compiled such findings." (Zhuan Falun, Lecture One, "Qigong is Prehistoric Culture," 2000 translation)

Of course, this sentence is taken out of context, but I have always felt that I was the person with an opportunity to compile things systematically. No one outside China had summarized practitioners' music in such a way, especially in the form of a university thesis. I realized that this is a high honor, as well as a big and important task. Especially when my professor told me that this thesis is unusual because it will remain in the university's references relating to China, I clearly realized the importance and seriousness of the matter. It is not a trivial matter. To a certain extent, people after me will refer to my thesis. My professor also told me that because the university has maintained good relations with China, my thesis is considered to be opposite China's view and thus able to serve as reference. In addition, I was able to use my thesis in a report for another subject.

In early March, I had my graduation oral test on my thesis. Right before the test, my professor once again explained to the director of the department the importance of the subject in a simple and clear fashion. That is because no one had written a thesis on this subject before and there was no reference. So I felt the pressure that I could not make any mistakes. I tried to send forth righteous thoughts with anxiety. At the same time, I also knew that there wouldn't be any problem if I was within the Fa. During the examination, I could mostly speak fluently. I could always remember what the next sentence should be. During the process, the committee asked some questions, and I was able to answer with ease.

Overall everything went very smoothly. I was even praised, although I knew that I could have done better. Our every moment will last forever in other dimensions even if it is not perfect. There was some time during the completion of the thesis when I was not very diligent, which resulted in some losses.

There are not any unimportant events during Fa-rectification. There are not many opportunities like this that allow one to treat validating the Fa as a primary job in society for several months.

I am grateful for the honor and enlightenment bestowed on me by Teacher.

(Clearwisdom.net) Before the persecution of Falun Dafa began in China, other practitioners and I often saw numerous flashing dots of light. We didn't know what they were. Master Li Hongzhi taught in "Teaching the Fa at the 2003 Midwest-U.S. Fa Conference:"

"Those beings that the old forces arranged to do specific things aren't those messed up, low-level spirit or rotten ghost kind of beings that I've talked about. There are Buddhas, Daos and Gods among them, though they're all of low levels, and here at this lowest level that is the human world they're doing things given to them by the old forces. They manifest in tiny sizes, and sometimes you see them as a shiny little flash of light that darts across. The old forces arranged even more of them around me. But I've been eliminating them in large quantities."

We then realized that these flashing dots were most likely the dark minions arranged by the old forces.

As the Fa-rectification advances, the evil beings have been annihilated in large quantities. I have noticed that the flashing dots of light have become fewer and fewer, and recently I have seldom seen them.

Some practitioners and I went to send forth righteous thoughts outside the enclosing walls of a prison. I noticed that the flashing dots of light there were abundant. Some were big and some were small. There were many of them. The prisons, forced labor camps and brainwashing centers in China are the main gathering places of the evil beings. As the evil forces have been drastically eliminated, more and more of them have retreated to these dark dens.

Last year, Master said:

"As a result of the righteous thoughts that Dafa disciples have put into validating the Fa and saving the world's people, the complete dissolution of the evil beings and elements that play a negative role and persecute Dafa disciples is taking place. Right now, there are only a small number of evil, rotten demons, and they are being concentrated by the old forces in labor camps, jails, and other dark dens that are taking part in persecuting Dafa disciples. This has caused the evil's persecution to remain severe in certain, limited areas. In order to completely eliminate the persecution of Dafa disciples by the dark minions, rotten demons, and old forces, all Dafa disciples around the world--particularly the Dafa disciples in each region of mainland China--are to concertedly send righteous thoughts toward those evil places, thoroughly dissolving all evil beings and elements that persecute Dafa disciples, clearing away the evil circumstances under which Dafa disciples are persecuted in mainland China, and saving the world's people, [thereby] fulfilling the duties of a Dafa disciple and advancing toward godhood." ("Thoroughly Dissolve the Evil")

After sending forth righteous thoughts outside the enclosing walls of the prison, I shared with practitioners about going in close proximity to the local labor camps and prisons more frequently to send forth righteous thoughts. The purpose is to completely dissolve the evil beings and elements that persecute Falun Dafa practitioners, to strengthen the righteous thoughts of practitioners imprisoned in the dark dens, and to reduce and eliminate the persecution suffered by the practitioners there. However, some practitioners did not think it was necessary to go near the dark dens to send forth righteous thoughts. They believed that it made no difference where we sent righteous thoughts. They thought a trip to the dark dens would take too much time, and we could better utilize that time to send more righteous thoughts or to study the Fa.

My personal understanding is that it is very necessary to send forth righteous thoughts in close proximity to the evil dark dens. Each practitioner can decide whether to go and when according to their personal situation. Even though an evil dark den may be located in the city where we live, this dimension is distant from us in time and space as it may be divided into many segments. The gong (energy) that we send out must travel through numerous times and spaces to reach the dark dens of the evil beings.

When we send forth righteous thoughts, if we can be in a state of complete tranquility, the gong we send out will travel across the space and time separations rapidly and drive straight to the dark dens of the evil beings. Otherwise, the power of our gong will be lesser to various degrees. Sending forth righteous thoughts in close proximity can compensate the loss in power when we are not able to achieve a complete tranquil mind. For these reasons it is necessary to send forth righteous thoughts in close proximity to the dark dens of the evil beings.

(Clearwisdom.net) Teacher taught us a long time ago,

"In order to truly enable you to ascend through cultivation, I have utilized a method, namely, taking what I can give to you and what I can help you with, and compressing all of it into the book of Fa. The only thing left is to see if you want to obtain it. For this reason I tell everyone that when you can't see me, you must take the Fa as the Master. Take the Fa as the Master." ("Teaching the Fa at the Fa Conference in Australia")

A practitioner will walk his cultivation path righteously only if he takes the Fa as Teacher. Especially in the complex and difficult cultivation environment in China, studying the Fa well and taking the Fa as Teacher are what fundamentally ensures that practitioners do not take detours in their cultivation.

My cultivation state was not good a few years ago. I used to idolize or admire determined fellow practitioners I came in contact with. As a result, I was very likely to take fellow practitioners' understandings of the Fa as my guide. When I enlightened to something on the Fa, I would share it with fellow practitioners and seek their approval. If they had a different understanding or opinion, I would second guess myself or even push aside my understanding of the Fa. But I would also feel upset or troubled when fellow practitioners did not approve of my understanding. I was not diligent many times.

For example, not long ago I identified I had an attachment to certain food. I was especially partial to sweets and fruits. Gluttony is also an attachment that a cultivator should eliminate. When I confessed this attachment to a fellow practitioner, she dismissed my understanding and accused me of going to extremes and going down a dead end. I began to second guess myself right away, yet I still felt it was an attachment to be partial to certain types of food. Still, I became less serious about eliminating the attachment. In fact, I stopped conducting myself according to the Fa on this issue. Knowing that those determined fellow practitioners did not think it was an issue to be partial to certain food, I decided that I must have really gone down a dead end.

At another meeting, I confessed that my thoughts were not always pure or clean. I admitted that I was not able to send forth righteous thoughts to eliminate these impure thoughts at all times. A fellow practitioner immediately said, "We are still cultivating among everyday people. How can we not have any human thought?" What she said upset me deeply. I immediately doubted if it would be too extreme to guard each and every thought of mine diligently. I even felt at a loss and didn't know how I should cultivate myself. I became less diligent in my Fa study. For a long time, I had not felt sleepy during my Fa study, but now it started to haunt me again. There are many similar incidents.

Today I visited Minghui.org/Clearwisdom.net and read a fellow practitioner's article, "Eliminate Preferences for Foods." I felt I finally found an answer to the problem that had troubled me for a long time. The author suffered from the exact attachment as me and was partial to the same types of food. I felt better instantly. This reminded me of something. Teacher has always required us to take the Fa as Teacher. Teacher has repeatedly taught us how we should regard Falun Gong volunteer assistants and coordinators of Dafa projects. Teacher asked us to measure cultivators according to their xinxing, instead of the length of their cultivation, their social status, or their roles in Dafa projects. However, I had always treated fellow practitioners' understandings and opinions as my guide instead of taking the Fa as Teacher. This is the reason why I had encountered so many obstacles in my cultivation path. As I reflected on my lack of diligence for quite some time, I could not help but ask myself:

"Why don't you listen to your Master's words: 'The only criterion for evaluating a student's cultivation is his xinxing'?" ("Another Comment on Evaluation Criteria" in Essentials for Further Advancement)

In addition, I identified an attachment to fame. I sought approval from fellow practitioners because I wanted to validate myself. Cultivating is about cultivating and being responsible for oneself. We do not cultivate ourselves to show off, but to assimilate ourselves to the great Fa of the universe and to fulfill our missions - assisting Teacher in His Fa-rectification. If we do Dafa work only when fellow practitioners approve of or recognize our efforts and if we give up when this condition is not met, whom are we cultivating for? This shows that my main consciousness fails to dominate at all times. I should not have easily taken fellow practitioners' words as my guide, even though they are cultivators. In addition, Teacher told us to exchange our cultivation understandings so that we may remind each other to be diligent in cultivation practice. I had missed the purpose and ended up being confused.

I can also identify another issue. I feel confident that I shouldn't be partial to any food because Minghui.org published an article that shared the same view with me and because Teacher approves of Minghui.org. What if Minghui did not publish that article? There are millions of different cultivation states and cultivation issues, but there is only a limited number of articles Minghui.org can publish. Besides, those fellow practitioners working on and publishing articles on Minghui.org are also cultivators. If I should take articles published on Minghui.org as my cultivation guide, would I be truly taking the Fa as Teacher? In conclusion, it is imperative for us to study the Fa, study the Fa and study the Fa.

By sharing my humble understanding, I hope that those who have the same problem will learn from my experience and start taking the Fa as Teacher.

(Clearwisdom.net) In the Ming Dynasty (a ruling dynasty of China from 1368 to 1644), there was a scholar named He Yue. He also went by the name Weizhai. While he was walking one night, he found more than 200 taels (38 grams) of silver. After returning home, he dared not to mention this issue to his family members, fearing that they would persuade him to keep the money.

On the morning of the second day, He Yue went to the place where he picked up the money and found someone looking for the money. He Yue asked him about the amount and seal mark on the money. Since all of the person's answers matched the money, He Yue returned the money to him. That person wanted to reward He Yue with part of the money. He Yue said, "Nobody knew I picked up the money, so if I wanted to keep it, all the money could have been mine. However, I did not do that, so how could I ask for a reward?" That person thanked He Yue politely and left.

He Yue once worked as a tutor in a eunuch's family. One day, the eunuch left for the capital and entrusted a box to He Yue. There were several hundred gold taels inside. The eunuch told He Yue, "I will pick it up later."

Several years passed, yet there was no news from the eunuch. Later, He Yue heard that the eunuch's nephew was passing by, but it was certainly not for the box. He Yue valued loyalty over money though, so he handed over the box to the nephew and asked him to pass it on to the eunuch.

Valuing trustworthiness over money is being moral, just, and following the duty which anyone should keep. In the field of cultivation, it is quite clear that virtue and karma are two kinds of substances that exist in any person. If anyone gains something which does not belonged to them by improper means, he will exchange his valuable virtue, and the situation will create karma as well. Therefore, valuing money over trustworthiness damages one's virtue and fortune. The gain does not make up for the loss.
