Xinhua News Agency's "High-level Internal Reference Materials" Deceive High Level CCP Officials and Promote the Persecution of Falun Gong By Zheng Hua
(Clearwisdom.net) The Chinese Communist Party (CCP) has always censored
information and brainwashed the masses. As for Party members and officials, the
CCP has another way to brainwash them. It publishes so-called "High-level
Internal Reference Materials" and distributes them to officials according
to their rank as a form of elite privilege, and many of them believe that they
are learning about the real situation through reading these internal reference
materials. However, this is not the case. This is, in fact, another way used by the CCP
to prevent the Party officials from learning the facts and to brainwash them.
Because this abnormal way of transmitting information is controlled by a few
leaders in power, it can be easily abused by those in power with ulterior
motives to mislead officials at various levels, so as to achieve their dirty
political intentions. Furthermore, the means used in the process are extremely
deceptive. Among those "internal reference materials" is the internal
publication "Internal Trends" edited by the Xinhua News Agency. This
publication is classified as "High-level Internal Reference Materials"
exclusively for the the eyes of high-ranking CCP officials at and above the
provincial level and for Army commanders and above. This is the main source of
information for many CCP officials. Jiang Zemin's clique based their persecution
of Falun Gong on lies and fabricated accusations, and the Xinhua News Agency has
played the role of one of the most essential propaganda tools in spreading lies
and framing Falun Gong. It has been used not only to discredit Falun Gong and
deceive the general public, but also as a political tool for Jiang's clique to
deceive CCP members and government officials. For example, since November 2006, "Internal Trends" published a
series of so-called "internal reference materials" that spread lies,
such as that Falun Gong was expanding towards the countryside of the Northwest,
especially towards "the former revolutionary areas" in Shannxi
Province. This is another round of new schemes to target Falun Gong that has
been plotted by a few high-ranking CCP members in power as they have become more
desperate at their failure to eradicate Falun Gong through persecution. The
610 Office then put on an act and carried out a so-called
"investigation." The outcome of such an "investigation,"
which is based solely on political needs, is naturally unreliable. On the one
hand, it set out to cover up their failure; on the other hand, it aims to
continue to deceive people and find excuses for further persecution. Under such
a wicked scheme, the CCP has recently carried out an extensive and unlawful
campaign to arrest Falun Gong practitioners. These so-called "internal reference materials" are extremely
deceptive and carry evil political motives. The CCP has always spread rumors
saying that Falun Gong has an agenda for political power, and it has used this
false accusation as an excuse for their persecution of Falun Gong. In order to
usurp the state's power in history, the CCP established some so-called
"revolutionary bases." Now these "internal reference
materials" have framed Falun Gong by saying that Falun Gong is
"infiltrating and expanding" towards the CCP's "revolutionary
bases." The CCP officials, whose mindset is controlled by the Party
Culture, would thus naturally have a conditioned reflex that Falun Gong is
trying to take over the state's power. This is how they are deceived with lies. Before the persecution started in July 1999, there were 70 million to 100
million people practicing Falun Gong in China. Practitioners were everywhere,
from all walks of life, including the Northwest region. How could there be an
issue of "infiltrating?" As for the "expanding," isn't this
an unwitting revelation of their failure in the persecution? Of course, the
Jiang clique still wants to put up a last-ditch struggle in the face of defeat.
Moreover, it still tries to win over people to go along with them in their evil
deeds and be buried alongside them. Because CCP officials of certain ranks are able to read these "internal
reference materials," some of them feel very confident and think that they
know the facts about Falun Gong very well. These officials resent Falun Gong
practitioners' efforts to clarify the facts, and they turn a deaf
ear to them. I have come across such officials myself. When I told them that Falun Gong
has been wronged and that Falun Gong has no political agenda and no intention
for any political power, they did not listen at all and they argued, "I
have read internal reference materials. I know better than you do." Jiang's
clique deceives people through the CCP's "internal reference
materials" and its intelligence system. As a result, many CCP officials are
fooled and deceived unknowingly. Some officials may not believe that the Party and their leaders would deceive
them, and it may not have occurred to them that all their information sources
(including those intelligence and "internal reference materials") have
always been controlled by Jiang Zemin, Zeng Qinghong and Luo Gan. Jiang's
clique, in order to gain self-interest, has always provided false information
and news to those who are not in their clique, including to high-ranking
officials. While some officials are participating in the persecution of Falun
Gong, they are actually being used and manipulated. International sources once exposed cases of Jiang's clique brazenly deceiving
high-ranking officials. A photograph taken in October 1992 of Deng Xiaoping and
Hu Jintao once aroused much attention in the international community, as the
photo appeared to have three different versions. According to "asiatimes-chinese.com"
the photograph published by Xinhua News Agency had been altered. [1] What is
more surprising is that the photograph Hu Jintao kept for himself is the altered
version, not the original one. The then CCP head Jiang Zemin, for his political
intention, gave Hu Jintao the altered photo (which adds Jiang to the photo). Even,
then Politburo member Hu Jintao could not get the original photograph of
himself. Then how can CCP officials be so sure that the "internal reference
materials" and information they get are true? Many people know that the CCP is unscrupulous in its internal struggle
against opponents, as evidenced by the slaughter of the AB league, the purging
of Liu Shaoqi (former state leader), Peng Dehuai (an Army General) and others.
The CCP even treats their own "comrades" so cruelly, let alone Falun
Gong practitioners. In order to frame Falun Gong and accuse Falun Gong of intending to usurp the
state's power, the "610 Office," under the control of Jiang's clique,
tries very hard to fabricate false information. For example, at a recent rally
in the U.S. to support the millions of people who have quit the CCP, a democracy
activist mentioned the "Velvet Revolution." (This refers to a
non-violent revolution in Czechoslovakia in 1989 that terminated the communist
government there.) The "610 Office" deliberately distorted the
facts by saying, "Falun Gong wants to carry out a Velvet Revolution,"
indicating that Falun Gong wants to overthrow the Chinese government. Currently,
Jiang's clique is spreading rumors, saying Falun Gong is "sabotaging the
Beijing Olympics" to deceive those who do not know the facts, and it is
unlawfully arresting Falun Gong practitioners. Jiang's scoundrel clique has framed Falun Gong time and time again, deluding
people both inside and outside of the CCP, in order to fabricate excuses to
sustain its existence and continue the persecution. The spies under the control
of the "610 Office" provide false information based on the needs of
their superiors, and they exert themselves for the CCP in order to obtain large
amounts of "activity funds." The CCP persecutes good people, and this has enraged heaven and earth. The
spreading of the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party has
awakened more and more Chinese people, and the mighty current of quitting the
CCP has pushed the CCP to the edge of complete disintegration. Jiang's clique has met with complete defeat in their persecution of Falun
Gong. The desperate struggle of the "610 Office" can only make their
end more miserable. Those who have followed Jiang and Luo in the persecution of
Falun Gong, regardless of whether they are forced to do so, half-heartedly do
so, or voluntarily do so, will all come to a most ignominious end. I hope those
CCP officials who still bury their heads in the sand will wake up to reality. [1] The article (and the original and altered photos) "Who has altered
