Solemn Declaration

I was a police officer at a certain company's police station and was once directly in charge of persecuting Falun Gong there. After July 20, 1999, I was deceived by the Chinese Communist Party and once persuaded Falun Gong practitioners to give up cultivation, to not go to Beijing to appeal, and to write guarantee statements and so on. Now, through reading truth-clarification materials, I know I was used by the Chinese Communist Party. I did things I should not have done. I hereby declare solemnly: All the deeds and words I did and said that go against Dafa principles are null and void. I firmly remember Falun Dafa is good, support Dafa, and will act as a genuine good person.

One day in 2005, an evil person found me and threatened that if the police arrested my son, they would send him to a brainwashing center. They saw that I was afraid, so they entrapped me even further, saying that as long as I wrote a guarantee statement for my son, they would spare him. I told them that I did not know how to write, so they wrote it for me and then asked me to sign. Thus, under the pressure of their threats and deception, I was muddleheaded enough to sign it. Now, I realize that what I did was wrong. There is nothing wrong with my son wanting to be a good person who follows Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. Those who persecute good people are the truly bad people. Where is there a principle that people should write guarantee statements to bad people and not do good deeds? I solemnly declare: The guarantee statement I wrote before and all my words and deeds that went against Dafa principles are null and void. I will do my best to make up for my mistakes.

Solemn Declaration

I am a police officer at a provincial police station. I obeyed the higher authorities' orders to persecute Falun Gong since July 20, 1999. I did disrespectful things toward Dafa's founder and did things I should not have done to local Dafa practitioners. Out of ignorance, I arrested and beat people. I did what the higher authorities told me to do. Later, I was told the truth by practitioners and read some factual materials. I only then realized that what I did in the past was wrong. From now on, I will not do anything to persecute Falun Gong, and I will support Dafa. I hereby admit my mistakes to Master Li: I am sorry! I sincerely apologize to the practitioners I once arrested. I respectfully ask for Dafa's founder and practitioners to forgive me. Thank you!
