Toronto, Canada: Spreading the Fa at the World's Longest Street Festival (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net) On June 3, 2007, the "World's Longest Street
Festival on the World's Longest Street" was held on Yonge Street in Aurora,
a suburb of Toronto, Canada. Falun Gong attracted a lot of attention during this
festival. Clarifying the facts of Falun Gong People gladly receive Falun Gong materials This is the 12th year of the festival and more than 800 groups participated
in it. According to the organizers' estimation, several hundred thousand people
attended the festival. Falun Gong practitioners from Toronto also had a booth at
the festival. They exposed the brutality of the persecution to the public. They
also displayed some artwork by practitioners and passed out copies of the Nine
Commentaries on the Communist Party. Many people accepted the
materials and some of them bought books and artwork. Barbara, of Aurora, had practiced other forms of qigong for 35 years. Later,
she learned Falun Gong through the Internet, and practiced it by herself for a
while. She was very glad to come across the local practitioners. She asked how
to join them for group exercises. A teenager told practitioners that he liked the paintings a lot, because they
manifest the principle of "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance." While distributing materials, practitioners also noticed that many people
were quite familiar with Falun Gong.
