CCP Shows Fear of the NTDTV Classical Chinese Dance Competition

(Clearwisdom.net) The NTDTV Classical Chinese Dance Competition promotes genuine traditional Chinese culture. CCP fears the competition and especially fears people from China joining the competition. An announcement was issued to department chairs and teachers at Sichuan University:

Based on the requirements laid out in the Central Committee document and CCP Committee of the Institute work plan, we recently investigated the Dance Department teachers and students.

1. The Institute CCP Committee held a meeting on April 30, 2007 and gave the Central Committee document to all Dance Department Chairs and students' consulates. We requested each teacher to make sure no student would join this competition.

2. The Institute CCP Committee asked Vice President of the Institute Yang Xiangdong (male) to contact our ten students studying abroad in the South Korea Gyeongsang National University to request they not participate this Competition on their own.

3. As of 3 p.m. today (date unknown), no teachers or students will join the NTDTV Classical Chinese Dance Competition.

4. The CCP Committee of the Institute requires all teachers to immediately report to the CCP Committee if they learn of any teachers or students planning on joining the competition and persuade and prohibit them from going to the United States. The Institute will not permit any teachers or students to participate in this event.
