Indonesia: Despite CCP Interference, Practitioners' Performances Warmly Received by the People of Jakarta (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net) In order to celebrate the 480th anniversary of the founding of Jakarta, the capital of Indonesia, there was a parade on July 7, 2007. Falun Gong had been invited to participate in the parade, but received a notice on July 6 that their performance was canceled. Assisted by a local human rights lawyers group, Falun Gong practitioners explained how the Chinese Communist Party interfered to have their parade entry canceled. On July 8, Falun Gong practitioners held their own grand parade in Jakarta's Chinatown. The local people warmly received them and gave them high praise.

On July 8, Falun Gong practitioners held a grand parade in Chinatown. The procession set off from Fatahilah Museum Square in Jakarta, marched along the downtown streets and business centers and returned to the starting point.
