Turkish Organ Transplant Association Expresses Concern over CCP Organ Harvesting (Photo)

(Clearwisdom.net) From July 4 to July 6, the Turkish Organ Transplant Association held its ninth International Organ Transplant Forum in Ankara. Several local Falun Gong practitioners distributed truth-clarifying materials to forum participants. The Association stated that it had heard about the cruel organ harvesting atrocities in China and was very concerned.

After looking through the truth-clarifying materials, professor Mehmet A. Haberal, President of the Turkish Organ Transplant Association, said that the association had paid a lot of attention to this issue. He said that China must stop the persecution of Falun Gong and organ trafficking; otherwise Turkey will discontinue all academic connections and exchanges with China.

Professor Haberal commented that Turkey only used organs from volunteer donors and would not send patients to China for organ transplants. He said that the international medical community had reached an agreement to not recognize Chinese organ transplant doctors, not cooperate with them, and not acknowledge their academic reports.

The practitioners asked professor Haberal whether he knew about Falun Gong. The professor said yes. When the practitioners presented him a copy of Zhuan Falun (Turkish version), he was very glad to accept the book and said that he would read it.
