Delaware: Falun Gong Practitioners Participate in Independence Day Celebration for Seventh Consecutive Year (Photo)


(Clearwisdom.net) For the past seven years, on July 4th, Newark Falun Gong practitioners have participated in every Independence Day Celebration held at the University of Delaware. This year, the practitioners once again joined local citizens to celebrate America's birthday. They showcased the beauty of Falun Gong and told many interested people about the persecution of the practice in China and the atrocities of organ harvesting from living practitioners.

When presented with Falun Gong truth-clarifying materials, two Taiwan international students asked, "Is this the practice being persecuted in Mainland China? Is the persecution still happening?" A practitioner told them what Falun Gong is and gave them an update on the persecution. The two students showed deep sympathy to Falun Gong and said, "The Chinese Communist Party is so evil. Such persecution would never happen in Taiwan."

A western visitor was very keen to learn the Falun Gong exercises and asked how to get to the local Falun Gong practice site.

To many local residents, Falun Gong is not new. Pointing to the Falun Gong booth, a western lady told her friends proudly, "Look, Falun Gong! I signed their petition."
