My Journey to Hong Kong to Rescue Sentient Beings

(Clearwisdom.net) A few days before my departure for Hong Kong, my family members learned from news reports of the violent deportation incident in Hong Kong. They tried to persuade me to cancel my trip. I also felt rather uneasy and struggled inside. Suddenly I reminded myself, "Let go of sentiment and fear through cultivation; go and assist Master in the Fa-rectification." I thought, "Why was I hesitating?"

I told my family, "Dafa helped me regain good health when I was tormented by illnesses. Now Dafa needs me to go and rescue sentient beings. How can I not step forward?" They were still worried and said, "You must not take your drum with you, nor should you take the book Zhuan Falun."

I said, "The drum is my Fa instrument. I must take it with me, and I will take Zhuan Falun. If I don't have Zhuan Falun with me, am I still a Dafa practitioner?" My family understood. I flew to Hong Kong as scheduled, with my drum and my copy of Zhuan Falun.

My original plan was to meet a fellow practitioner who was traveling on a different flight, and once in Hong Kong, we would enter Hong Kong together and lodge at the same place. Bad weather delayed her flight by one-and-a-half hours and I had to enter Hong Kong by myself. I told myself, "All right, no matter what interference I encounter, nothing will shake my determination to enter Hong Kong." I went through customs without any trouble. The rainstorm we ran into while landing also diminished to a light rain.

I caught the last bus that was going to the place I was to stay. Because I was not sure where to get off, I asked a gentleman on the bus. To my surprise he volunteered to get off at the same stop with me. Then I learned that he had just returned to Hong Kong from Japan. He was pulling two big suitcases and accompanied me to the place where I had arranged to meet local practitioners. He waited with me until the local practitioners arrived. Then he started walking toward his destination pulling the two heavy suitcases. Looking at his receding figure in the rain, my eyes filled with tears. I knew Master had arranged all this for me. Thank you Master!

I have not been very diligent in cultivation, and yet Master has not left me behind. I know Master's law bodies are with us all the time, protecting us. I said to myself, "I shall be more diligent!"

On July 1, 2007, those of us who had managed to get into Hong Kong encouraged each other. Practitioners in the drum team agreed that we would beat our drums with more energy while the Divine Land Marching Band declared they would play with more vigor and strength. One person would take up the task of a hundred people, and one hundred people would do the work of one thousand. We would completely disintegrate the evil forces and rescue more sentient beings.

Many fellow practitioners were denied entry into Hong Kong. Even though I was able to get into Hong Kong, I did not hold any attachment of zealotry, because Dafa practitioners are one body. The deportation incident was also a big trial for us. Practitioners in Taiwan have lived in a comfortable environment for a long time. The Fa-rectification is progressing rapidly. We should be even more diligent in Fa-study, and in conducting ourselves with righteous thoughts and doing righteous things. We must try our best to do well the three things and rescue even more sentient beings.
