Activities Supporting Withdrawals from the CCP Become Focus of Attention at Australian National University (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net) The Global Service Center to Quit the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) in Australia held activities at Australian National University on July 18, 2007. Booths and displays were set up in front of the busiest student activity center to introduce the movement to quit the Communist Party in China and to expose the CCP's persecution of innocent Chinese, especially Falun Gong practitioners. The activities became the focus of attention on campus.

Students visited the display

Both Chinese and Westerners were interested in the activities

A volunteer with the Global Service Center told about the movement to quit the CCP

Chinese students showed special interest in the display

One student made a special trip to the booth to sign in support

Many faculty members and students went to the booth to find more information, take materials, and sign in support. So many copies of the printed materials were taken during the morning that supplies ran out quickly. Dozens of copies of the report on organ harvesting by former Canadian Secretary of State Asia-Pacific David Kilgour and human rights lawyer David Matas were taken quickly.

When one Chinese student said he wasn't a member of the CCP, a volunteer with the Global Service Center said he might want to quit the Communist Youth League and the Young Pioneers. The student decided to quit both. Many Chinese students showed great interest in the display exposing the persecution of Falun Gong. They carefully read the display boards.

Many students didn't know about the signature collection, and they left after taking a flyer. But after reading about it, they came back and signed to show their support.

The activities received warm feedback. The Global Service Center decided to hold more activities to support quitting the CCP at Australian National University and other universities.
