Experiencing Falun Dafa's Divine Power after One-Year of Practice

(Clearwisdom.net) In April 2006 it was discovered that I had liver cancer during the group physical checkup at my workplace. The cancerous tumor was 4x3 centimeters in size. After further tests I was advised to have the tumor removed. When the surgery was done, the tumor was found to be malignant. So, two other intensive liver treatments were given. I was, then, feeling so low that there was nothing in my head but one thought: that I've got two 80+ year old parents, my wife and kids. This kind of terrible blow was unbearable.

Just as I was dealing with this tragic time, one of my relatives came to help me and introduced me to the Falun Gong books, telling me about how Falun Gong cured her health problems and how it has flourished all over the world. What she said made me feel the magic of Falun Gong. I knew that only my solid belief in practicing Falun Gong would save my life at that point.

From that day on, I began to concentrate on reading Zhuan Falun, I read it five times, cover to cover. There's one paragraph:

"I do not talk about healing illness here, and neither will we heal illness. As a genuine practitioner, however, you cannot practice cultivation with an ill body. I will purify your body. The body purification will be done only for those who come to truly learn the practice and the Fa. We emphasize one point: If you cannot relinquish the attachment or concern for illness, we cannot do anything and will be unable to help you. Why is this? It is because there is such a principle in the universe: Ordinary human affairs, according to the Buddha School, all have predestined relationships. Birth, old age, illness, and death exist as such for ordinary people. Due to karma resulting from past wrongdoing, one has illnesses or tribulations; suffering is repaying a karmic debt, and thus nobody can casually change this. Changing it means that one would not have to repay the debt after being in debt, and this cannot be done at will. Doing otherwise is the same as committing a bad deed. (Zhuan Falun, Lecture One, 2000)

I set everything down at that point, to do one thing only: study the Fa and not mind the problem of sickness any more. Seeing the big improvements from of my studying the Fa, doing better both spiritually and physically, the relative who introduced me to the practice said, "You can do the exercises now." My wife began to practice as well. The exercises, evidently, have helped me a great deal, too. In October 2006, I went back to work. My boss and colleagues were so surprised that I recovered so well and so fast.

They asked me how I did it. I said to them straight out that Falun Dafa saved my life and that it is the great Law (Fa) of the universe. Some believed what I said, some didn't--all because of evil party's lies and slander.

What made me feel more magical about the Fa was, one afternoon in July 2006 when I was doing the first part of "The Falun Standing Stance"-- holding the wheel in front of the head, magic happened: the big Falun (law wheel) was spinning in and around my hands, arms, and whole body. It kept spinning until the end of the whole set of "standing stance". This situation continued for three days and enabled me to solidify my belief in Falun Dafa, witnessing the divine power of the Fa.

A year of cultivation has made me feel and experience the divine power of Falun Dafa, benefiting my mind and body, enabling me to have a new concept of life. In April 2007, I went back for a complete checkup, the result was that everything was normal. The doctor asked what medicine I took. I said I didn't take anything, but that I'd been practicing Falun Gong.

My boss and colleagues at work said, "Since Falun Gong is so supernormal, you should continue to do it." I said, "Having the situation I have today, it's clear that Teacher and Falun Dafa have saved me. I have a predestined relationship with Dafa and I will definitely cultivate until the day I reach consummation.
