To Censor What People See, Authorities in Yanbian Area of Jilin Province Restrict Use of Satellite Dishes, Falsely Blaming Falun Gong as an Excuse

(Clearwisdom.net) Authorities in the Yanbian area of Jilin Province have been restricting the use of satellite dishes in attempts to block reports about China coming from the outside world. By doing so, it has caused a lot of misery for the local people. Most people who install satellite dishes speak Korean, and without them they cannot view any of their ethnic programs or news.

The local authorities in Yanbian know that the local people install the satellite dishes to watch Korean TV. However, higher authorities have pressed local authorities to take down the satellite equipment "to ensure stability for the Olympic Games." Local authorities feel they have no choice but to obey the orders, thinking that otherwise the higher authorities will hold them responsible. Therefore, the local authorities devised an evil plan, telling people that taking down the satellite dishes was to protect from foreign anti-China influences and to prevent Falun Gong practitioners from showing their material. Wu Qinghua, who works for Yanbian Television Station, publicly lied saying, "Taking down the satellite apparatus is to prevent the reactionary elements outside China, in particular Falun Gong practitioners and so on."

The CCP knows that what it does can cause people to become angry, so it tries to deflect public dissatisfaction to Falun Gong. In order to achieve its goal of persecuting Falun Gong, the CCP habitually uses the communist theory of "utilizing the people to fight the people."

Times have changed, however, and as time goes on, many Chinese people have begun to see through the wicked tricks habitually used by the CCP to slander good people. Today's people are awakening, and the wicked tricks used by the CCP are becoming much weaker.
